  Hi , I have paypal sandbox test account. I want to create a 'buy Now' button. I am trying it with GWT. But its even not working with simple HTML form. It displays a 'Buy Now' button on HTML page and after clicking on it redirects to PayPal site. Where it ask to login to buy product but after that it goes on displying message: The email address or password you have entered does not match our records. Please try again. I am using buyer user to purchase product. I am pretty sure about the username and password. Today, I ran across a NotSerializableException with a model object I created from scratch and I realized enough is enough. I was told this was because of session replication between load-balanced servers, but I know I've seen other objects at session scope that do not implement Serializable. Is this the real reason?

  I am looking to access the actual value returned from the server.getRowData returns the value after unformat applied to the value. This results in loss of information. For instance, if a double value is rounded to two decimal places and if I want to populate the form for edit with the original value returned from the server with 6 decimals, how can I get the value returned. for eg: Value returned from server : 12.345678 formatter option for column : formatter: 'number', formatoptions: {thousandsSeparator: ",", decimalPlaces: 2} Value displayed in grid : 12.35 How do I retrieve the value 12.345678 returned from the server. getRowData returns 12.35

  We have a application (written in c#) to store live stock market price in the database (SQL Server 2005). It insert about 1 Million record in a single day. Now we are adding some more segment of market into it and the no of records would be double (2 Millions/day). Currently the average record insertion per second is about 50, maximum is 450 and minimum is 0. To check certain conditions i have used service broker (asynchronous trigger) on my price table. It is running fine at this time(about 35% CPU utilization). Now i am planning to create a in memory dataset of current stock price. we would like to do some simple calculations. I want to know different views of members on this. Please provide your way of dealing with such situation.

  I ran into an interesting error with the following LiNQ query using LiNQPad and when using Subsonic 3.0.x w/ActiveRecord within my project and wanted to share the error and resolution for anyone else who runs into it. The linq statement below is meant to group entries in the tblSystemsValues collection into their appropriate system and then extract the system with the highest ID. from ksf in KeySafetyFunction where ksf.Unit == 2 && ksf.Condition_ID == 1 join sys in tblSystems on ksf.ID equals sys.KeySafetyFunction join xval in (from t in tblSystemsValues group t by t.tblSystems_ID into groupedT select new { sysId = groupedT.Key, MaxID = groupedT.Max(g=>g.ID), MaxText = groupedT.First(gt2 => gt2.ID == groupedT.Max(g=>g.ID)).TextValue, MaxChecked = groupedT.First(gt2 => gt2.ID == groupedT.Max(g=>g.ID)).Checked }) on sys.ID equals xval.sysId select new {KSFDesc=ksf.Description, sys.Description, xval.MaxText, xval.MaxChecked} On its own, the subquery for grouping into groupedT works perfectly and the query to match up KeySafetyFunctions with their System in tblSystems also works perfectly on its own. However, when trying to run the completed query in linqpad or within my project I kept running into a SQLiteException SQLite Error Near "(" First I tried splitting the queries up within my project because I knew that I could just run a foreach loop over the results if necessary. However, I continued to receive the same exception! I eventually separated the query into three separate parts before I realized that it was the lazy execution of the queries that was killing me.   I'm trying to write a report which will join a person, their work, and their hourly wage at the time of work. I cannot seem to figure out the best way to join the person's cost when the date is less than the date of the work. Let's say a person cost $30 per hour at the start of the year then got a $10 raise o Feb 5 and another on Mar 1. 01/01/2010 $30.00 (per hour) 02/05/2010 $40.00 03/01/2010 $45.00 The person put in hours several days which span the rasies. 01/05/2010 10 hours (should be at $30/hr) 01/27/2010 5 hours (again at $30) 02/10/2010 10 hours (at $40/hr) 03/03/2010 5 hours (at $45/hr) I'm trying to write one SQL statement which will pull the hours, the cost per hour, and the hours*cost. The cost is the hourly rate last entered into the system so the cost date is less than the work date, ordered by cost date limit 1. SELECT person.id, person.name, work.hours, person_costs.value, work.hours * person_costs.value AS value FROM person INNER JOIN work ON (person.id = work.person_id) INNER JOIN person_costs ON (person.id = person_costs.person_id AND person_costs.date < work.date) WHERE person.id = 1234 ORDER BY work.date ASC The problem I'm having, the person_costs isn't ordered by date in descending order. It's pulling out "any" value (naturally sorted by record position) which matches the condition. How do I select the first person_cost value which is older than the work date? Thanks!

• Why would a WebService return nulls when the actual service returns data?

  I have a webservice (out of my control) that I have to talk to. I also have a packet-sniffer on the line, and (SURPRISE!!!) the developers of the webservice aren't lying. They are actually sending back all of the data that I requested. But the web-service code that is auto-generated from the WSDL file is giving me "null" as a value. I used their WSDL file to generate my Web Reference. I checked my data types with the datatypes that the WSDL file has declared. • Browser show incomplete JSP data

  I am using JSP, Struts 1.3 and Apache Tomcat 5.5. For some reason response from JSP is being truncated and complete information is not shown. Class generated from the problem JSP page looks just fine. There are no any errors logged in Catalina's logs. I have no idea how this issue can be fixed.

  Hello! I'm developing a Genetic Algorithm in python were chromosomes are composed of strings and integers. To apply the genetic operations, I want to convert these groups of integers and strings into bit strings. For example, if one chromosome is: ["Hello", 4, "anotherString"] I'd like it to become something like: 0100100100101001010011110011 (this is not actual translation). So... How can I do this? Chromosomes will contain the same amount of strings and integers, but this numbers can vary from one algorithm run to another. To be clear, what I want to obtain is the bit representation of each element in the chromosome concatenated. If you think this would not be the best way to apply genetic operators (such as mutation and simple crossover) just tell me! I'm open to new ideas. Thanks a lot! Manuel
