• Installing PygraphViz on Windows, Python 2.6

  Anybody out there has successfully installed PygraphViz on Windows? Since there is not an official release for Windows, I'm trying to build it myself, but it fails to compile. I'm not the first one to face this issue, but I could not find an answer. But CHAMADOResponse still have the namespaces declaration. I'm pretty sure that it should not be done like that. In fact, I don't believe that the namespaces are the problem at all. This project has been hard since the begining, as we had to create services that matched legacy wsdl. My question is: is there a way that I could remove all that namespaces declaration from the web service response?

• Delete Nodes + attributes that match Xpath except specific attributes

  I'm trying to find the best (efficient) way of doing this. I have a medium sized XML document. Depending on specific settings certain portions of it need to be filtered out for security reasons. I'll be doing this in XSLT as it's configurable and no code should need changing. I've looked around, but not getting much luck on it. For example: I have the following XPath: //*[@root='2.16.840.1.113883.3.51.1.1.6.1'] Whicrooth gives me all nodes with a root attribute equal to a specific OID. In these nodes I want to have all attributes except for a few (ex. foo and bar) erased, and then having another attribute added (ex. reason) I also need to have multiple XPath expressions that can be ran to zero down on a specific node and clear it's contents out in a similar fashion, with respect to nodes with specific attributes. I'm playing around with information from: XPath expression to select all XML child nodes except a specific list? and XSLT Remove Elements and/or Attributes by Name per XSL Parameters Will update shortly when I can have access what what I"ve done so far. • Maven Assembly Plugin - install the created assembly

  I have a project that simply consists of files. I want to package those files into a zip and store them in a maven repository. I have the assembly plugin configured to build the zip file and that part works just fine, but I cannot seem to figure out how to install the zip file? Also, if I want to use this assembly in another artifact, how would I do that? I am intending on calling dependency:unpack, but I don't have an artifact in the repository to unpack. But shouldn't the javax.ws.rs.core.Response work as well?

I have the configuration file, reports.xml: /u355/app/ptelrep/tomcat50-jwsdp/conf/Catalina/localhost/reports.xml I have a JSP file which has link points to the symbolic link: onMouseOver="toggleDiv('div1',1)" onMouseOut="toggleDiv('div1',0)"Detail Usage I restarted the tomcat but the symlink is not working. When I change the symlink to a point to the original file, it works. Can anyone know what the problem is?

  Hi all, I have migrated from log4j to logback and also am transitioning to Glassfish from Jetty. I haven't updated my logback configuration from what I had used with Jetty and consequently am not seeing any logs being written. What logging provider should I use? Should I just do my configuration with the Glassfish loggers in domain.xml? <access-log rotation-interval-in-minutes="15" rotation-suffix="yyyy-MM-dd"/> <log-service file="${com.sun.aas.instanceRoot}/logs/server.log" log-rotation-limit-in-bytes="2000000"> <module-log-levels/> </log-service> These are the defaults in domain.xml. I'd like to split the longs up into several files as well as control log level for each package. I think I can figure out how to configure them, but should I use Glassfish logging or can I use logback? Walter

However, I am not able to run my existing ant script using groovy. Usually I run it using the following command in dos prompt: ant -Dsystem=mysystem -DsomeotherOption=true from groovy when I try to do "ant -Dsystem=mysystem -DsomeotherOption=true".execute() it gives an error saying ant is not a recognized command. How can I utilize my existing ant script in groovy?

  I'm (lazily) using shell_exec() to execute a Twitter API Call. shell_exec('curl -u user:password -d "id=3191321" http://api.twitter.com/1/twitterapi/twitterlist/members.xml'); That works fine when I authenticate correctly and put in a number for the id. But when I try to put in a variable ($id), it screws up. $addtolist = shell_exec('curl -u pxlist:Weekend1 -d "id='.$id.'" http://twitter.com/username/twitterlist/members.xml'); I tried flipping the quote types $addtolist = shell_exec("curl -u pxlist:Weekend1 -d 'id=$id' http://twitter.com/username/twitterlist/members.xml"); I tried using double quotes and escaping them $addtolist = shell_exec("curl -u pxlist:Weekend1 -d \"id=$id\" http://twitter.com/username/twitterlist/members.xml"); None of them worked.   hi, has anybody already programmed a iphone compass heading tilt compensation? i have got some approaches, but some help or a better solution would be cool! FIRST i define a vector Ev, calculated out of the cross product of Gv and Hv. Gv is a gravity vector i build out of the accelerometer values and Hv is an heading vector built out the magnetometer values. Ev stands perpendicular on Gv and Hv, so it is heading to horizonatl East. SECOND i define a vector Rv, calculated out of the cross product Bv and Gv. Bv is my looking vector and it is defined as [0,0,-1]. Rv is perpendicular to Gv and Bv and shows always to the right. THIRD the angle between these two vectors, Ev and Rv, should be my corrected heading. to calculate the angle i build the dot product and thereof the arcos. phi = arcos ( Ev * Rv / |Ev| * |Rv| ) Theoretically it should work, but maybe i have to normalize the vectors?!   We are getting the error above on some pages of an ASP.NET MVC application when it is deployed to a 64 bit Windows 2008 server box. It works fine on our development machines, though these are 32 bit XP. Just wondered if anyone had encountered this before, and has any suggestions? Details as follows: Bad binary signature. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131192) Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Bad binary signature. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131192) All projects are set to compile for Any CPU, and are compiled in Release mode. The ASP.NET site is precompiled, and the precompiled build is on a 64 bit Windows 2008 TeamCity build agent. Thanks in advance. EDIT We're still plagued by this. I have looked at all the binaries in the website's bin directory using corflags.exe. None has the 32BIT flag set, and all have a CorFlags value of 9 except for Antlr3.Runtime.dll which has a value of 1. The problem only affects certain pages, and it seems to be those which use FluentValidation (including FluentValidation.Mvc and FluentValidation.xValIntegration assemblies). None of these shows anything out of the ordinary when inspected with corflags.exe, and there are no odd looking dependencies revealed by ildasm. When built locally (32 bit Windows XP) the site deploys and runs fine. When built on the build agents (64 bit Windows 2008 Server) the site displays these errors. • Sending emails to site subscribers

  I have a site where people enter their email address to be reminded of a weekly posting. I only send them the weekly email that they double-opt-in for. I do not sell, trade, expose, or do anything else with their address. Right now I have a bit of a hack, connecting to a large email providers SMTP server to send the emails. As the site grows I fear that my emails will be marked as spam and that I will be violating the TOS of the provider. I'm considering two options, building an in-house SMTP server or using a mailing list service. Is there a best-known-method for this? I'd really prefer to simply build my email and use a script to send them through the SMTP server rather then use some GUI to build the email and import a list of addresses. But previous experience tells me that running a mail server and not being marked as spam can be difficult. Help!?

• Does Sandcastle support Entity Framework Partial Classes?

  I am attempting to use Sandcastle (and Sandcastle Help File Builder) to do some "auto-documentation" of some classes I am using. The classes that are giving me trouble are some partial classes on Entity Framework items that add methods and properties to those Framework items. The triple slash comments don't appear to come through on the methods and properties created in the partial classes. I have out how to get xml documentation of the base properties using the short summary and long description fields on the .emdx editor, but that doesn't provide a solution for the items in the partial classes. Is this possible? Is it perhaps just settings that I'm not setting correctly to pick up the partial classes? Does Sandcastle do partial classes in non-Entity Framework settings? Is what I'm doing even possible (has anyone else successfully used the xml created from triple slash comments to create documentation on entity framework partial classes, and if so how did you do that)? Any assistance is appreciated

• Overwrite the Soap Envelope in Suds python

  Hello, I have a camera and I am trying to connect to it vis suds. I have tried to send raw xml and have found that the only thing stopping the xml suds from working is an incorrect Soap envelope namespace. The envelope namespace is: xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" and I want to rewrite it to: xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" In order to add a namespace in python I try this code: message = Element('Element_name').addPrefix(p='SOAP-ENC', u='www.w3.org/ENC') But when I add the SOAP-ENV to the namespace it doesn't write as it is hardcoded into the suds bindings. Is there a way to overwrite this in suds? Thanks for any help.

• Memory leak issue with UIImagePickerController

  I'm getting memory leak with UIImagePickerController class. Here's how I'm using it: UIImagePickerController *picker = [[UIImagePickerController alloc] init]; picker.delegate = self; picker.sourceType = UIImagePickerControllerSourceTypePhotoLibrary; [self presentModalViewController:picker animated:YES]; [picker release]; To remove the picker i call [picker dismissModalViewControllerAnimated:YES]; in didFinishPickingImage and imagePickerControllerDidCancel. -- Instruments show around 160bytes leaking as a result of this instruction: +[UIImagePickerController _loadPhotoLibraryIfNecessary] Apparently this issue has and is disturbing many people, and solution to avoid this problem is to build a singleton class dedicated for picking images from library or capturing using device's build in camera. Anyone want to add something?
