Now my question is, I am doing this by looping the query once and getting the data in three different structs and using these structs while displaying.   • Can an algorithmic process ever give true random numbers ?

    I have worked with random functions in python,ruby, MATLAB, Bash and Java. Nearly every programming language has a function to generate Random numbers. However, these apparently random sequences are termed as pseudo-random number sequences as the generation follows a deterministic approach, and the sequence seems to repeat (usually with a very large period). My question, can an algorithmic/programming process ever yield true random numbers ? The questions probably is more of theoretical computer science than just programming !

We are working on a S60 version and this platform has a nice Python API.     Hi, I am planning to participate in development of a code written in C language for Monte Carlo analysis of complex problems. This codes allocates huge data arrays in memory to speed up its performance, therefore the author of the code has chosen C instead of C++ claiming that one can make faster and more reliable (concerning memory leaks) code with C. Do you agree with that? What would be your choice, if you need to store 4-16 Gb of data arrays in memory during calculation?

    I have recently been getting my feet wet in MongoDB using Mongoid w/ Rails 3, but I'm now interested in learning the low level MongoDB features using only the Ruby driver, and trying some map/reduce that would not be possible through Mongoid (afaik) I'm not entirely sure where in Rails I should be setting up the db connections etc, and any pointers would be much appreciated!
