This method here works apart from the fact that the results over a certain distance are still in the table, they are just not graphically visible. I am led to believe that i have to carry out the filtering process before the formatting the table but i can not seem to do this. Please help. My xcode skills are not brilliant so code suggestions would be helpfull.

• How to set up single array or dictionary for use in multiple datasources?

  I have multiple TableViewDatasources that need to display list of objects form same pool depending of certain property. E.g. object.flag1 is set- it will show up in TableView1 object.flag2 is set- it will show up in TableView2 The obvious way would be to have separate arrays for each TableView, But same object may appear in different arrays. Also I need to update objects very often or access all objects through same array. How do I setup a single dictionary or array to have all objects in one structure? To put it in another way: When table view or selection changes, application need to redraw TableViews with the new data. Application have to access the pool of objects and search through them using iterator and accessing each object and its properties. I think that this is an expensive operation and want to avoid that. Perhaps maybe by making a global pool of objects a dictionary and exposing objects properties as dictionary fields. So instead of iterating global pool of objects I could access global pool Dicitonary in a manner of database by selecting objects that has fields that match particular criteria. Anyone know any example of doing that?

  I want to write a MobileSubstrate (http://www.iphonedevwiki.net/index.php/MobileSubstrate) addon that takes every HTTP request and modifies the URL. (The reason is very complicated and would take a while to explain, so just trust me that there's not an alternative). Basically, I need to know what's the best Objective-C message or C function that I should overwrite to intercept any HTTP request, modify the URL, and send the request back to the original function (this shouldn't be just the first request sent by an application, but any redirects too). I think it may be in NSURL or CFNetwork, but am not sure where exactly. This function should, when replaced, work with any apps and the OS itself.

• How can I detect device orientation going back and forth through tabs and views?

  My application goes back and forth between Portrait and Landscape. I have all of my content(labels, uiimageviews, uilabels) lined up to relocate for both orientations. However, the only change when the device is actually rotated. When I cycle between tabs after it has been rotated it just shows up autosized and not the way I have it setup when the user rotates it. How can I detect the orientation of the device and display the view to reflect the orientation when the taps different tabs?

  I would like to implement an observer pattern in Objective-C where the observer implements an interface similar to SKPaymentTransactionObserver and the observable class just extends my base observable. I've tried adding an NSLock around add observers and notify observers, but I run into a deadlock. • How to segue modal without losing tab bar controller

  Okay, so I want to be able to have a TabBar Controller with two Tabs (like the template in Xcode), but inside the Second tab, I want to have a button that takes the view to a Third View Controller. I want the Third View Controller to have a back button to the Second Tab, I don't want the Third View to retain the TabBar, but when I go back to the Second Tab I want the TabBar to return. So this is what I actually did, and it doesn't work. I put a button in 2nd view and 3rd view, and I control clicked and dragged to the respective views, and clicked modal. Everything works, except when I go back to the 2nd view I lose the tab bar.   I display an image in a UIImageView (within a UIScrollView) which is also stored in CoreData. In the interface, I want the user to be able to rotate the picture by 90 degrees. I also want it to be saved in CoreData. What should I rotate in the display? the scrollview, the uiimageview or the image itself? (If possible I would like the rotation to be animated) But then I also have to save the picture to CoreData. I thought about changing the image orientation but this property is readonly.

  i populate uipicker's datasource from array built with sqlite database stored data. everythiongs works fine.. for a little while. after 6-7 spinnings, the picker freeze, and I get EXC_BAD_ACCESS. debugger indicates the program stopped in the main () function. so, how could this happen? working for a while, and then, suddenly exit like that? thanks

• Reloading the model of a TTTableViewController

  My problem is that I have a Register Controller and a Login Controller. The Login Screen displays a Login Screen or a Logout Screen depending if a user is logged in. Now when a user registers, does not close the app, and then goes to the Login Screen it will still display a Login Screen, although there is a logged in user already. This is because the Screen is created when the application loads and does not change afterwards. I tried doing this: - (id)init { if (self = [super init]) { [self invalidateModel]; [self reload]; but that did not work, since it is only called on the first init. then i tried: - (void)viewDidLoad { [self invalidateModel]; [self reload]; } But that method had the same problem. Then I found this method: - (TTNavigationMode)navigationModeForURL:(NSString*)URL; with the following options: typedef enum { TTNavigationModeNone, TTNavigationModeCreate, // a new view controller is created each time TTNavigationModeShare, // a new view controller is created, cached and re-used TTNavigationModeModal, // a new view controller is created and presented modally TTNavigationModeExternal, // an external app will be opened } TTNavigationMode; It seems like TTNavigationModeCreate would be the right thing to use, but I have no clue how to use it.   I have a table view with 0 or n rows of data from datastore. I added a customized Edit button on the right of the view's navigation bar. By default, when the edit button is clicked, in the action event, I set the view as edit mode: [self.tableView setEditing:YES animated:YES]; I would like to add a row at the end of the table view with Add button as an accessory on the left when the table view is in edit mode. And the "Add" row will not be displayed when the view is not in edit mode. This is very similar to the case of iPhon'e Contacts application when a contact is in edit mode. I am not sure if I need to add a row dynamically, and how if so? An alternative way I guess is to add more row when tableView:numberOfRowsInSection: is called? If later is the case, I have to make it hidden when the view is not in edit mode and visible when the view is in edit.
