I have about 40000 records in that table that contains plain text and within the plain text, contains that kind of tags which its only characteristic is that they are braced between [ ]
[caption id="attachment_2948" align="alignnone" width="480" caption="the caption goes here"]
How could I remove those? (replace by nothing)
I could also run a PHP program if necessary to do the cleanup.
I am reteriving the set of values inside a table from database in a jsp page then it is in the form of link. Now I want to click that value and move to another jsp page.

Hello Everyone,
What is the difference between "+" and "-" before the function name interface declaration in an iPhone program. Example:
- (void)continueSpeaking;
+ (NSArray *)availableVoices;
What's the difference?
How can I change the icon of a .JAR file I want to distribute? I have changed the icon that shows when the program is run, but I want to change the icon in the environment (e.g. Windows XP), that is for the file itself. I googled, but the best I could find is converting the .JAR to a .EXE, which is not the best choice.
It's fairly simple to play a sound file, say temp.wav, from Visual Studio C#. I'm looking for a way to do this without temp.wav being locatable from the machine running the program.
IE - I want to read the .WAV file into my solution so that it is somehow inside of my .EXE and be played by it.
Is this possible?
I am trying to create a map app for iphone and I have a little problem. Every pin on the map has a different name. How can my program know which pin button is pushed so it can get the data from the server. I've created only one detailed view and I don't know how to make this work.
I was wondering if there's an implementation of a XML schema reader that for an arbitrary node in XML schema provides list of nodes which are supposed to be present as child nodes of given node, restrictions on nodes and so on.
I'm planning to program it for my purposes but I would like to know if it isn't solved somewhere. I really need only a small subset what I described above.
Thanks for tips!

If you don't care about minifying your code, is there a way to get started using the Google Closure library without having to set up a subversion client and use the compiler? The Notepad sample program on Google's website refers to
<script src="closure-library/base.js" > </script >
Can you simply download closure-library/base.js somewhere and start playing with the UI examples? The Closure Lite quick-start version doesn't appear to include goog.ui
What is a better way to program the following SQL:
str_to_date(
concat(convert(D.DAY, CHAR(2)),
'-',
convert(M.MONTH, CHAR(2)),
'-',
convert(M.YEAR, CHAR(4))),
'%e-%m-%Y' ) as AMOUNT_DATE
I want to convert the columns D.DAY, M.MONTH, and M.YEAR to a date field using MySQL. The above works, but seems much more complicated than it needs to be. (If there's an ANSI SQL way to do it, that would be even better.)
Thank you!
Hello to all, I'm doing a html text feature extractor in C++; the program need to be REALLY fast: i need to extract a this features in ms per html page and the memory usage needs to be good and finally unicode encoding well be nice.
I know how difficult is to have all of this things, but i want a parser close to these things at least.
Somebody have a suggestion?
I'm writing a program in C# using the WPF framework. I need to display images, and I'd like to cache them to avoid downloading them constantly.
I can code my own cache, however, IE already has a caching system. I can find code to read entries out of the IE cache, however I've found nothing dealing with the issue of adding items to the cache. Is there a good way to do it, or should I just implement a separate cache?
Hi, i made a flash application that loads image and sound from given url.But in my application whenever i run a program , first it loads or download all music and than it plays but i want to play a sound without loading all file.

I'm trying to convert an old Delphi program I wrote into Java to compile and run on my Android phone. I'm running the Android 2.1 operating system but am using version 1.6 of the SDK.
I have a routine in Delphi where I set the colour of pixels on a canvas individually along the lines of:
image1.canvas.pixels[x, y] := GetMyTColor(x, y);
Is there a Java equivalent to the property on the Canvas:
property Pixels[X, Y: Integer]: TColor
I wrote a .sh file to compile and run a few programs for a homework assignment. I have a "for" loop in the script, but it won't work unless I use only integers:
#!/bin/bash
for (( i=10; i<=100000; i+=100))
do
./hw3_2_2 $i
done
The variable $i is an input for the program hw3_2_2, and I have non-integer values I'd like to use. How could I loop through running the code with a list of decimal numbers?
Are there any good tutorials out there to develop a selectable TreeView in Visual Studios?
What I am searching for is for something that would display my drives in a tree view and have a checkbox next to each drive, folder and file. This will be used in a replication program. Thanks a million.
In my program, I am using BitArrays to represent 160 bit numbers. I want to be able to add, subtract, increment and decrement these numbers, what is the algorithm for doing this?
At the moment I'm not interested in multiplication and division, but I might be in the future so bonus points for that.
I'm implementing in C#, but pseudocode is fine if you're not familiar with the language
I'm running a shell script that runs an installation program (by ViseX) and selects different items in the installer through a list.
The installer needs administrator privileges to run properly, but I don't want to use sudo.
Here's the applescript I'm using:
osascript <<-END
tell application "$1"
with timeout of 8 * 3600 seconds
activate
Select "$2"
DoInstall
end timeout
end tell
END
I'm playing with TI-83+ BASIC development. But I want to know if I can
write my code on the computer and compile it, then transfer the
program to the emulator.
In what circumstances would updating a UI control from a non-UI thread could cause the processes' handles to continually increase, when using a delegate and .InvokeRequired?
For example:
public delegate void DelegateUIUpdate();
private void UIUpdate()
{
if (someControl.InvokeRequired)
{
someControl.Invoke(new DelegateUIUpdate(UIUpdate));
return;
}
// do something with someControl
}
When this is called in a loop or on timer intervals, the handles for the program consistently increase.
I'd like to prove that a GUID is not unique in a simple test program.
I expected this to run for hours but it's not working. How can I make it work?
BigInteger begin = new BigInteger((long)0);
BigInteger end = new BigInteger("340282366920938463463374607431768211456",10); //2^128
for(begin; begin<end; begin++)
Console.WriteLine(System.Guid.NewGuid().ToString());
I'm using C#
