• Change Windows-E Target

  I was wondering how we can change the Win-E key combination to another target besides the default C:\. I've tried changing the shortcut in Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Windows Explorer to %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe "C:\My Folder\", in case Win-E references this shortcut, but that did not help. Any ideas?

  I added subdomain,create a new folder,than put some files in folder,when I try to access my new subdomain I get this message 500 - Internal server error. • Permissions changed after Mail.app and associated data crash

  Hi there, I experienced a major Mail.app crash on Snow Leopard couple of days ago. It took me hours to be able to make the folder structure usable again by Mail. I changed permissions back to 755 for all subfolders starting from and including ~/Library/Mail Mail now works again but settings such as folder order in the left side bar and mail ordered by date in some folders don't persist anymore.   We have just virtualised our web servers but are experiencing problems when trying to connect with the existing DB server. The error message that is being returned from the virtual machines is as follows: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The specified network name is no longer available.) Any help would be much appreciated - Many thanks in advance.

  Hello I am working on a system that needs a user-dependent variable, the user in on Windows XP and is connected to Windows Server 2003. I cannot save this variable in the registry of the local machine under HKCU, because the users are likely to exchange their machines. This variable must be accessible on the whole domain. Do you have any idea of implementing this ? Are there WMI features that may help me ?

  Hi all, I have a scenario in mercurial, and i cant finad anything that would tell me how to solve it. Basically, i have a mercurial repository with numerous branches for stable, development, experimental features etc.... However, ive found a bug in a set of core application files that are common to each branch. Is there a way to modify these files, and then push the changes to the common files to all the other branches, without sending any other changes? any help would be appreciated.

  My iPhone 3GS doesn´t show up in the Scanners and Cameras tool when I connect it via USB to Windows XP. Nor does the Camera Wizard pop up. How do I make Windows XP detect the device as a Camera? I currently have no way of downloading photos from the iPhone to my computer. iTunes does recognize the device, but it doesn't offer a way to synchronize photos. Thanks for your help.

  Helo all! A wierd shift-key problem, for which all I found was sticky keys answers First of all, I have all the sticky keys and related, Disabled. Every windows that is currently in focus, if I press the left shift-key alone, pops up the current window menu. I have no idea how and why this has happened, or how to disable it. I want a Windows PC to refer to a local file (I can serve it from a web server at localhost if needed) when it attempts to fetch a certain remote file via HTTP.
