    I am converting XML children into the element parameters and have a dirty regex script I used in Textmate. I know that dot (.) doesn't search for newlines, so this is how I got it to resolve. Search language="(.*)" (.*)<education>(.*)(\n)?(.*)?(\n)?(.*)?(\n)?(.*)?</education> (.*)<years>(.*)</years> (.*)<grade>(.*)</grade> Replace grade="$13" language="$1" years="$11"> <education>$3$4$5$6$7$8$9</education> I know there's a better way to do this. Please help me build my regex skills further.

    I have /path/to/my/theme/static/css/frontend.css which is called by base.html <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="{{ STATIC_URL }}css/frontend.css" media="all" /> In which I've got a background for the header: #header-wrapper min-width: 960px; height: 150px; background: transparent url(img/header-bg.png) repeat-x center bottom; } The file is /path/to/my/theme/static/img I've run manage.py collectstatic to gather the files and almost everything looks correct except the link generated looks like: http://example.com/static/css/img/header-bg.png In which the image does not show, because the correct URL is: http://example.com/static/img/header-bg.png Where am I going wrong??

    I would like to Click "buttonImage1" and have that store "photos/Image1.jpg" into a var called Photo. then have ButtonImage2.ImageUrl = (Photo). I am using an UpdatePanel to refresh the area with the images so the only problem is actually setting the variable correctly and then using it correctly. So added the timestamp: new Date().getTime() part. That fixed the IE issue. I want o know why this happens in jQuery? Do I need to include a timestamp parameter to URL to avoid caching in all jQuery Ajax calls?

    Ok I'm trying to make search terms bold in this search script I'm making, except I can't get it to work case insensitive. function highlight($term,$target){ $terms = explode(" ", $term); foreach($terms as $term){ $result = (eregi_replace($term, "<strong>$term</strong>", $target)); } return $result; } That is the function I have so far.. It says on PHP.net that eregi_replace is case insensitive matching but it's obviously not working for some reason. (I'm a noob). Any ideas? :D

    I guess I am out of ideas here. I am trying to consume a web service in java which has an ssl certificate. I createt a a keystore file in which I have added the certificate. The file lies in my project folder. I imported it using: System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", "folder\\keystore.jks"); System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "SECRET"); Apparently, the web service call checks the keystore because when giving a wrong path to the file the application throws an exception when invoking the WS, not when setting the system property. Anyway, when giving the correct path to the keystore file, I still get AxisFault faultCode: {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}HTTP faultSubcode: faultString: (401)Authorization Required Someone told me I had to trust the CA, before any of this would work. How do I do this?

    Hi Guys What application should I use that is able to automatically access a website to gather information? Basically I have a database that completes calculations for me; however I have to manually gather the parameters from a website and input these into my database. What I would like is have an application that will take my input say the name of a product, access the website, add this name into a search box on a website, complete the search and then extract the desired information from the web page returning the results to my application to complete the calculation thus presenting me with the result. This is a little out of my depth but I’m willing to learn no matter how complicated the software. Cheers for your help.

    hello im trying to make a simple page with search engine. i read, that if i want to implement autocomplete/autosuggest with form, i have to use ajax. thats ok for me. there are a lot solutions on the intenret, but unfortunetly all of them is the same script :/ and thats fine for me :) but i want to go further. i want to show autosuggest results in table for example below search form. the data is stored in a simple array (eventualy, source mysql) i know that kind of script isnt easy to write, so i ask you to give me a hint or something. trivial solution is use php, but this needs submit button. help, im stuck :)

There are two methods for GET : @GET @Produces(MediaType.TEXT_XML) public String getXml(@PathParam("typeDocument") String typeDocument) to display XML file, and @GET @Produces(MediaType.TEXT_HTML) public String getHtml(@PathParam("typeDocument") String typeDocument) to display HTML. The browser Firefox always excutes getHtml() when URL is either http://localhost:8080/sources/html or localhost:8080/sources/xml But IE always excutes getXml(). How to excute the correct method, as defined by URL, in different browser ? Thanks a lot.

I have a search form that is accessed only from the modal. On the search form, I need a help icon.     My organization is building a new version of our ticketing site and is looking for the best way to build an online waiting room when the number of users in our purchase path exceeds a certain limit. The best version of this queue would let new users in after existing users have either completed their purchase or have exceeded a timeout limit after entering the path. I'm trying to get an idea of how this has been implemented by other organizations. Has anyone out there done something similar or have any experience with this? We have some ideas, but I'd like to get a sense of what solutions have been tried and what problems those solutions have run up against. Just to be complete, this site is being built in Ruby on Rails, though I'd love to hear about how people have solved this regardless of platform.

  • How can I set a default value when incorrect/invalid input is entered in Unix?

    i want to set the value of inputLineNumber to 20. I tried checking if no value is given by user by [[-z "$inputLineNumber"]] and then setting the value by inputLineNumber=20. The code seems to be working correct when no value is given but I also receive ./t.sh: [-z: not found as message on the console. Is there some way to not print this message.
