  • faceBook Canvas APP not closing FB.Connect.showPermissionDialog

    My FB application is using the below code to generate the FB.Connect.showPermissionDialog box. <?php if($fb->api_client->users_hasAppPermission("publish_stream",$fb_user)==0) { ?> <script> FB.ensureInit(function(){ FB.Connect.showPermissionDialog("publish_stream", function() { },false,266167740665); }); </script> <?php } ?> The php if statement is for a check if the user has granted this permission previously or not. It is working fine and if the user hasn't granted permission before then FB.Connect.showPermissionDialog is displayed, which prompts for the permission. My problem is that on "Granting" or "Skipping" the permission by the user the dialog box doesn't go away. It resides over there and refreshes itself to open the facebook home page inside the box. It has to be forcefully closed by clicking on the X button. Am I doing any thing wrong?

  • What is the right way to initialize a constant in Ruby?

    I have a simple class that defines some constants, e.g.: module Foo class Bar BAZ = "bof" ... Everything is puppies and rainbows until I tell Rake to run all my Test::Unit tests. When it does, I get warnings: bar.rb:3: warning: already initialized constant BAZ My habit has been to avoid these warnings by making the constant initialization conditional, e.g.: ... BAZ = "bof" unless const_defined? :BAZ ... This seems to solve the problem, but it is a little tedious, and I don't ever see anyone else initializing constants this way. This makes me think I might be Doing It Wrong. Is there a better way to initialize constants that won't generate warnings?

  • Replace empty cells with logical 0's before cell2mat in MATLAB

    I've got a cell array of empty cells and ones that I want to convert to a logical array, where the empty cells are zeros. When I use cell2mat, the empty cells are ignored, and I end up with a matrix of solely 1's, with no reference to the previous index they held. Is there a way to perform this operation without using loops? Example code: for n=1:5 %generate sample cell array mycellarray{n}=1; end mycellarray{2}=[] %remove one value for testing Things I've tried: mylogicalarray=logical(cell2mat(mycellarray)); which results in [1,1,1,1], not [1,0,1,1,1]. for n=1:length(mycellarray) if isempty(mycellarray{n}) mycellarray{n}=0; end end mylogicalarray=logical(cell2mat(mycellarray)); which works, but uses loops.

    Question 1 We would like to generate a site map for our CMS site We have multiple front end servers with approx a million articles. Environment multiple MS SQL servers multiple front end servers (load balanced) ASP.net - and IIS 6 Windows 2003 To have the site maps (the site map index file, and the site map files) physically on the front end servers will be a operations nightmare and error prone. So we are considering using http handlers instead so that it does not matter what server gets the request, it will be able to serve the correct xml file. Question 2 If we ping Google each time we publish a new article will that effect us negatively if that happens more than once a hour. Thanks!

  • How to make screenshots using VMWare tool "vmrun"?

    Hi everybody! I'm currently working with the vmrun-Tool, to control VMWare Virtual Machines. I'm using VMWareWorkstation 7.0.0/7.0.1 and VMWarePlayer 3.0.0 on Windows 7 x64. I simply want to take a screenshot of each virtual machine which is powered on. Listing the power-on virtual machines is quite simply and works! (vmrun list) But the captureScreen command doesn't work. I have tryed serveral commandline options. for example: vmrun -T ws captureScreen %VMPATH% %OUTPUTPATH% I get no error message, but the console is blocked (and the command never finishes). I have also tryed to include -gu USERNAME and -gp PASSWORD, but it result in the same problem. Sorry for my English and thanks for your help in advance!!!

  • Is it possible to make the AntiForgeryToken value in ASP.NET MVC change after each verification?

    We've just had some Penetration Testing carried out on an application we've built using ASP.NET MVC, and one of the recommendations that came back was that the value of the AntiForgeryToken in the Form could be resubmitted multiple times and did not expire after a single use. According to the OWASP recommendations around the Synchronizer Token Pattern: "In general, developers need only generate this token once for the current session." Which is how I think the ASP.NET MVC AntiForgeryToken works. In case we have to fight the battle, is it possible to cause the AntiForgeryToken to regenerate a new value after each validation?

    Hi, I am new to vb6. I am working to create the invoice generation application. I am using data report to show the generated invoice. The step by step working of process is Entering the data in to Invoice and ItemsInvoice tables. Then getting the maxId using (Adodc) from the data base to show the last generated Invoice. Then passing the max Id as parameter to the data report which is showing the invoice according to the invoice id. It is working fine when I first time generate invoice. Now for 2nd invoice withou closing application I am getting a blank data report. For data report I am using dataenvironment. I am guessing the reason of blank data report is blank because there was no record for that Id. But actually the record is inserting in the database. Please help me.

  • Best practices for combining Lucene.NET and a relational database?

    I'm working on a project where I will have a LOT of data, and it will be searchable by several forms that are very efficiently expressed as SQL Queries, but it also needs to be searched via natural language processing. My plan is to build an index using Lucene for this form of search. My question is that if I do this, and perform a search, Lucene will then return the ID's of matching documents in the index, I then have to lookup these entities from the relational database. This could be done in two ways (That I can think of so far): N amount of queries (Horrible) Pass all the ID's to a stored procedure at once (Perhaps as a comma delimited parameter). This has the downside of being limited to the max parameter size, and the slow performance of a UDF to split the string into a temporary table. I'm almost tempted to mirror everything into lucenes index, so that I can periodicly generate the index from the backing store, but only need to access it for the frontend. Advice?

  • Test (with RSpec) a controller outside of a Rails environment

    I'm creating a gem that will generate a controller for the Rails app that will use it. It's been a trial and error process for me when trying to test a controller. When testing models, it's been pretty easy, but when testing controllers, ActionController::TestUnit is not included (as described here). I've tried requiring it, and all similar sounding stuff in Rails but it hasn't worked. What would I need to require in the spec_helper to get the test to work? Thanks!

    I have a WCF service. It has multiple clients and three endpoints. The endpoint bindings are nettcp, wsHttp and basicHttp. If I attempt to connect to it via php'd builtin SoapClient class like so: $service = new SoapClient ("http://service.companyname.local:6666/Service/?wsdl", array( "location" => "http://service.companyname.local:6666/Service/Basic", "trace" => true, 'soap_version' => SOAP_1_1 ) ); I get the following: PHP Fatal error: SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: PHP-SOAP doesn't support transport 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/soap/tcp' in c:\www\client.php on line 666 Right now my workaround is to save the wsdl manually and remove the nettcp binding. Is there a workaround that will allow me to use the automatically generated wsdl? Can I hide a binding from the wsdl in web.config? Can I generate different wsdls on different bindings. I don't want to deploy two service hosts.

  • How can I have HTML tab expansion in ST2 w/ Emmet inside Handlebars templates(emberjs)?

    Okay, so I'm using Sublime Text 2 with Emmet. But "Tab" expansion of HTML snippets doesn't work inside a script because of the scope. Example: In HTML, I can type "h1" and then hit tab, and it will generate "" When using Ember.js, and more specifically Handlebars, it doesn't work. <script type="text/x-handlebars"> h1 </script> Pressing tab after that "h1" doesn't expand it because it's inside a script; Emmet turns this off. I can press Ctrl+E, which is the "expand anywhere" hotkey, and that works just fine. However, that is uncomfortable and prone to missing and hitting things like Ctrl+S or Ctrl+D which have undesired effects. So, how can I change this?     Hello all, I am having problems with the PHP function unlink. I keep getting this error: Warning: unlink(C:\wamp\www\webs\db\db_1276259188.mdb) [function.unlink]: Permission denied in C:\wamp\www\webs\pure-php-export.php on line 242 I am on a windows machine where Apache runs as the user SYSTEM. I have set the permissions of the db folder as "Full Control" for Apache's user. I thought my script might still be holding on to that file (its an uploaded file that gets used via PDO). try{ $dbh = new PDO("odbc:Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb)};Dbq=$mdbFilename", $username, $password); }catch(PDOException $e){ echo $e->getMessage(); } So before I attempt to delete the file I unset the above and try to delete like so: $dbh = null; unset($dbh); if(is_file($mdbFilename)){ unlink($mdbFilename); } I really appreciate any help on this as it has been driving me mental for the past two hours!   • Problem using Hibernate-Search

    Hi, I am using hibernate search for my application. It is well configured and running perfectly till some time back, when it stopped working suddenly. The reason according to me being the number of my model (bean) classes. I have some 90 classes, which I add to my configuration, while building my Hibernate Configuration. When, I disable hibernate search (remove the search annotations and use Configuration instead of AnnotationsConfiguration), I try to start my application, it Works fine. But,the same app when I enable search, it just hangs up. I tried debugging and found the exact place where it hangs. After adding all the class to my AnnotationsConfiguration object, when I say cfg.buildSessionfactory(), It never comes out of that statement. (I have waited for hours!!!) Also when I decrease the number of my model classes (like say to half i.e. 50) it comes out of that statement and the application works fine.. Can Someone tell why is this happening?? My versions of hibernate are: hibernate-core-3.3.1.GA.jar hibernate-annotations-3.4.0.GA.jar hibernate-commons-annotations-3.1.0.GA.jar hibernate-search-3.1.0.GA.jar Also if need to avoid using AnnotationsConfiguration, I read that I need to configure the search event listeners explicitly.. can anyone list all the neccessary listeners and their respective classes?     I've recently started working on various C# projects in Visual Studio as part of a plan for a large scale system that will be used to replace our current system that's built from a cobbling-together of various programs and scripts written in C and Perl. The projects I'm now working on have reached critical mass for being committed to subversion. I was wondering what should and should not be committed to the repository for Visual Studio projects. I know that it's going to generate various files that are just build-artifacts and don't really need to be committed, and I was wondering if anybody had any advice for properly using SVN with Visual Studio. At the moment, I'm using an SVN 1.6 server with Visual Studio 2010 beta. Any advice, opinions are welcome.

  • In SQL Server can I insert multiple nodes into XML from a table?

    I want to generate some XML in a stored procedure based on data in a table. The following insert allows me to add many nodes but they have to be hard-coded or use variables (sql:variable): SET @MyXml.modify(' insert <myNode> {sql:variable("@MyVariable")} </myNode> into (/root[1]) ') So I could loop through each record in my table, put the values I need into variables and execute the above statement. But is there a way I can do this by just combining with a select statement and avoiding the loop? Edit I have used SELECT FOR XML to do similar stuff before but I always find it hard to read when working with a hierarchy of data from multiple tables. I was hoping there would be something using the modify where the XML generated is more explicit and more controllable.

And getting following exceptions: Message: An exception occurred when setting up mail server parameters.     Our application is based on Oracle 11g database its drivers already installed but application throws an error on runtime. "AppliMSP.ADOcommands.GetConnected Error while connecting, Provider cannot be found, It may not be properly installed." I am using OraOLEDB.oracle provider. This provider work properly on other module (Administration) of this application but as I want to connect as client with same name and password I get above error. I have tried with MSDAORA(Oracle) but I don't get any success. Can anyone help me?

  • HP to Cisco spanning tree root flapping

    Per a recent question I recently configured both my HP (2x 2900) and Cisco (1x 3750) hardware to use MSTP for interoperability. I thought this was functional until I applied the change to the third device (HP switch 1 below) at which time the spanning tree root started flapping causing performance issues (5% packet loss) between my two HP switches. I'm not sure why. HP Switch 1 A4 connected to Cisco 1/0/1. HP Switch 2 B2 connected to Cisco 2/0/1. HP Switch 1 A2 connected to HP Switch 2 A1. I'd prefer the Cisco stack to act as the root. EDIT: There is one specific line - 'spanning-tree 1 path-cost 500000' in the HP switch 2 that I didn't add and was preexisting. I'm not sure if it could have the kind of impact that I'm describing. I'm more a security and monitoring guy then networking. EDIT 2: I'm starting to believe the problem lies in the fact that the value for my MST 0 instance on the Cisco is still at the default 32768. I worked up a diagram: This is based on every show command I could find for STP. I'll make this change after hours and see if it helps.
