• How to handle dynamic site localizations?

  I've got a website that is currently all in english. It is an online game, so it has a bunch of different pages with static text, as well as a lot of content in a database. I am trying to expand more globally and am gearing up to release some localizations of the site. However, I'm not sure about the best way to go about setting this up so that it'll be the easiest for me to manage and the easiest for users to use as well. Should I be storing the translated texts in a database, or should this be done in a completely different way? If it matters at all, the site is written in PHP and uses MySQL.

• Problems using jQuery $.ajax to pass data

Why is this happening, and how do I resolve it? On a side not, why is type: required to be POST instead of a GET? In the end I just want to pass a string value I want to look up in a DB and retrieving some json data.

• Duplicates in a sorted java array

  I have to write a method that takes an array of ints that is already sorted in numerical order then remove all the duplicate numbers and return an array of just the numbers that have no duplicates. That array must then be printed out so I can't have any null pointer exceptions. The method has to be in O(n) time, can't use vectors or hashes. This is what I have so far but it only has the first couple numbers in order without duplicates and then just puts the duplicates in the back of the array.   I'm pretty new to C++ and was looking for a good way to pull the data out of this line. A sample line that I might need to tokenise is f 11/65/11 16/70/16 17/69/17 I have a tokenisation method that splits strings into a vector as delimited by a string which may be useful static void Tokenise(const string& str, vector<string>& tokens, const string& delimiters = " ") The only way I can think of doing it is to tokenise with " " as a delimiter, remove the first item from the resulting vector, then tokenise each part by itself. Is there a good way to do this all in one?

• Java Swing architecture for flipping through JPane based views

  Hi all, I have done a couple of simple swing based apps with static layout, but now I've run into a problem while trying to create an app containing multiple views which are changed by pressing appropriate navigational button. You could compare the idea to a website so that every view has buttons to access certain other views but this would work inside a single JFrame. I've found that maybe CardLayout (Cardlayout example) might be appropriate solution for this kind of structure, but I'm unable to figure out a way to switch the views from the buttons which are inside of the JPanes that I've implemented in their separate classes, Of course one way would be to instantiate everything in the parent class like in the small java tutorial example, but this isn't quite clean nor modular for multiple views, isn't it. How can this be implemented so that I can access the view switching method?

  This is a question that is based on choosing performance over design practices. I also would like to change to a database such as azure or one of those scalable databases in the future. How do I handle something like this? Should I leave it as it is now or write stored procedures? How do applications like twitter or facebook do it?

• How can I create an http handler to redirect all traffic to HTML pages?

  Our company would like to redirect all calls to html files on our server to a separate page. The html pages are NOT in an asp.net application. In order to do this, I've been writing and IIS Handler in asp.net. 1) Is this possible to add an IIS handler to redirect static content that isn't served by any asp.net engine, i.e. stand alone files on the server? 2) If it is possible, how do I do this? I created an http handler in a class library. In the app.config I added the handler to the and sections. I added the DLL to the GAC, I changed the html mapping to my custom IIS dll and nothing works. Is there a tutorial or explanation from A to B on how to do this? Thanks. E p.s. I'm using IIS 7.5

But since every function uses some object-variables, I can't declare them as static. • Strange IP addresses in tomcat

In most cases it works normally and i can see a record for every request with a valid ip address in the right field. But sometimes where the IP should be there is something like this. "unknown, 93.186.30.120" or "10.0.1.169, 186.38.84.3" Apache is at the front listening at port 80 and used as proxy to Tomcat that listens at port 8081. My router config would not allow to pass any conection that come by any port other than 80. Any Help? Thanks in advance.

But the height of my drawn cells doesn't match what I setup in IB, advice? When I call repository.add(something), I wait for event AfterChange before doing any assertion.
