    I have two servers. On SERVER1 i have configured SSL certificate (on Apache) for domain https://somedomain.com. I need to connect to my working domain some app that exists on remote server SERVER2 - working app for example: https://remoteapps.com/remoteApp. I used mod_proxy to do it, but SSL certificate doesn't work. ProxyPass /remoteApp https://remoteapps.com/remoteApp ProxyPassReverse /remoteApp https://myapp.com/remoteApp How to make certificate for https://somedomain.com/remoteApp work too ?

  • Software to capture the packets in an MPEG Transport Stream

    I have a DVB-T capture card and would like to capture the packets from the MPEG stream it receives so i can analyse them just for a bit of fun and learning I've googled and found a lot of converters and software to capture the video from these streams but very little in the area of capturing raw data from a stream. What software exists that can capture and dump the MPEG stream from a tuner?

  • mysqld_multi stop doesn't seem to work

    mysqld_multi stop 1 followed by (repeatedly, a few moments later) mysqld_multi report 1 returns: Reporting MySQL servers MySQL server from group: mysqld1 is running The instances work fine and when I reboot, I have to start the instances to get them to come back up (a separate issue I need to resolve), but the stop command doesn't seem to do anything. It truly doesn't stop the instance because in the instance log file I see this: 120619 11:12:39 mysqld_safe A mysqld process already exists after trying to run start after.

  • rsnapshot preexec

    I am mounting my remote backup volume using a rsnapshot cmd_preexec script. If the /mnt/backup directory doesn't exist when starting rsnapshot i get this error: ERROR: /mnt/backup does not exist. If the directory exists and the preexec mounting fails, it does not stop rsnapshot resulting in the backup being backed up on the completely wrong server... What should I do about this? Edit: I know that I could use a wrapper-script, but I don't want to do this..

  • virtual mac osx 10.6.8 in VMWare does not save screen captures

    I have a VMWare image of a mac OSX 10.6.8 (fully updated). When I click Commnd+Shift+3 it makes a camera shutter sound, but no screen-capture is saved anywhere that I can find. When running: defaults read com.apple.screencapture location it returns /Users/admin/Pictures/Captures this folder exists and is empty also executed chmod 777 /Users/admin/Pictures/Captures Any ideas anyone ? Could this be related to the VMware screen resolution(Size) of this MAC? (currently set to 1348x1391)

  • Where does $PATH get set in OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard?

    I type echo $PATH on the command line and get /opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/Users/andrew/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/mysql/bin:/usr/local/pear/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin:/opt/local/bin:/usr/local/git/bin I'm wondering where this is getting set since my .bash_login file is empty. I'm particularly concerned that, after installing MacPorts, it installed a bunch of junk in /opt. I don't think that directory even exists in a normal Mac OS X install. Update: Thanks to jtimberman for correcting my echo $PATH statement

    I am trying to install opencv on Mac OSX Lion. brew install opencv I get the following error (and a few other similar ones) Error: The linking step did not complete successfully The formula built, but is not symlinked into /usr/local You can try again using `brew link jpeg' When I do brew link jpeg Linking /usr/local/Cellar/jpeg/8d... ln: wrjpgcom: File exists I do not understand what this means?   • H.323 to RTSP gateway?

    Is there such a thing as a H.323 to RTSP gateway? Am I searching for the wrong terms? This site seems to imply that such a thing should already exists, but I cannot find anything at all. My end goal is to connect a Flash applet (via RTMP) on one end to a video conference (which uses H.323) on the other end. I have a RTMP<--RTSP/RTP gateway, so a RTSP<--H.323 gateway would allow this solution to work.

  • Thunderbird loses all settings if PC is being shut down abnormally

    If my PC shut downs suddenly with power dips etc I loose all my Thunderburd settings and mail in Thunderbird, although the Profiles folder still exists. I had a look in the profiles text file and that file looks unchanged. Are there things I could try to solve this issue? I do not know what do do? Any help will be greaatly appreciated. Below is a screen shot of the window I want to access: Is there any other way to view the full list (Find Now)? I am writing documentation and I want the user to check if a user exists before creating it. I would ideally like them to access this via control panel or similar.

    You might be familiar with Ninite. What I'd like to know is if there are good alternatives to that software for Windows. The features I expect: installs the latest version of software supports 64 bit installs where possible strips ads/toolbars/similar stuff provides a way to keep the programs updated after installation if I can add custom installers to the software, that's a big plus. Any ideas if such a program exists?

  • Creating new bash command for Sublime Text 2

    I'm trying to get Sublime Text 2's command line alias working. The instructions make perfect sense: Run ln -s "/Applications/Sublime Text 2.app/Contents/SharedSupport/bin/subl" ~/bin/subl So, in ~/bin, subl exists. However, even when I restart terminal, the command 'subl' is not found. The path specified to the application's subl file is correct, I've verified that. Logging out does not fix it. Any help would be awesome!

    I know this is a lame cheap web camera, thus making it all the harder for me to find information about it. Ubuntu seems to recognise it, putting it in as /dev/video0 Skype is able to see that the web cam is there, but can not get any picture data. Flash doesn't even pick up that the web cam exists. I feel foolish asking such a lame question... but any help will be cool beans!

However, I don’t want to replace every occurrence of eat such as those that can be found inside other words such as great and meat. I have tried doing this using the regular Find and Replace tool, but I get words with capital letters in the middle. Is there a way I can just replace eat with Eat if it only exists on its own?

    Hello, I work on a very large project (10000+ versions) and sometimes it happened that I need to know who of the other users deleted some line in a file. Is there a way to do that that? I can do svn blame with revision number to check if a line exists in that revision, then see in which revision the line is gone and see who commited that revision, but that procedure is lame with that large project. Is there a smarter way to do that?

  • Outlook 2007 to 2010 upgrade - Invisible folders issue

    I upgraded my outlook 2007 to 2010. Everything was smooth, but realised later that, some of the archeive folders are missing. But, When I did a search on my archeive for a mail(exists in missing folder), it is able to show the mail in the search results. It is also showing the missing folder name in the search results.     If I have >ip ro 192.168.14.0/24 dev eth0 another host can obtain my mac address. But if I flush routing info: >ip ro flush table main arp resolution doesn't work. Broadcast packets "Who has 192.168.14.149" reach eth0 but OS (Linux) doesn't respond despite eth0 has address 192.168.14.149. What connection exists between routing and arp resolution?

  • Color variables in photoshop?

    I'm doing a lot of website design and I'm looking for a feature that would allow me to set the main colors of website in variables and use the variables in color overlays and such. It would make changing the color scheme of site a lot easier and that would help previewing different possibilities. So, does such feature exists, or is there some kind of plugin for it? I'm using CS3 and I have CS4 available if it's required for this.
