  I have a JavaME application called ParseExample. I can't seem to access the files inside the project's folders using the code below. FileConnection fconn = (FileConnection) Connector.open("{__DIR__}service1.xml", Connector.READ_WRITE); Here is the structure: ParseExample -Source Packages -XMLCreatorExample.java -service1.xml --- I want to read and write to this file Sorry for the noob question. Am I using this wrong? What path should be used? Or is there any other class that is supposed to be used instead of this?

  I'm running nginx 1.3.5 under windows seven, I need to execute nginx directly from a read-only media (CD or DVD), but when I want to run it, it fails with this error: nginx: [alert] could not open error log file: CreateFile() "logs/error.log" fail ed (5: Access is denied) 2012/08/28 13:52:46 [emerg] 5604#2864: CreateDirectory() "J:\nginx-1.3.5/temp/client_body_temp" failed (5: Access is denied) where J is my CD-ROM drive letter. I've changed nginx.conf to disable logging completely, but seems anyway it still tries to build a file named 'error.log' in '/logs' folder & some extra temporary contents in '/temp' folder at the startup, so I want to change 'logs' & 'temp' directory path to windows temp folder (%temp%), but I dont have any idea that how can I do it. Also I want to know why nginx still creates 'logs/error.log' after disableing error logging ?

• FileContentResult and international characters

  Hello, I am using a fileContentResult to render a file to the browser. It works well except that it throws an exception when the fileName contains international characters. I remember reading somewhere that this feature does not support international characters but I am sure there mustbe a workaround or a best practice people follow in cases the application needs to upload files in countries other than US. • Safari javascript cookie issue

  I've hit a bit of a weird issue in Safari in regards to setting a js cookie. The cookie itself is just a rgb colour value, which gets set using .click(), and is working fine in Chrome and Firefox, yet in Safari the value of the cookie is incomplete, showing up as rgb(193 instead of rgb(193, 184, 76) as the other browsers do. The problem is that I have routed blog/posts to posts. I am on blog/posts now and all the links in the Pager is showing me posts/index?page=2, page/index?page=3. I want to have the pager showing links to blog/posts/index?page=2, blog/posts/index?page=3 This my current routing for this: 'urlFormat'=>'path', 'rules'=>array( 'blog/posts' => 'posts', How should I do this?   I'm trying to follow the "Your first project" tutorial at http://wiki.fluentnhibernate.org/Getting_started and have hit a roadblock. When I try to run the console application, I'm getting this error: An invalid or incomplete configuration was used while creating a SessionFactory. Check PotentialReasons collection, and InnerException for more detail. I have created a SQLite database "firstProject.db" and referenced the full path to the file in the call to: return Fluently.Configure() .Database(SQLiteConfiguration.Standard .UsingFile(DbFile)) .Mappings(m => m.FluentMappings.AddFromAssemblyOf<Program>()) .ExposeConfiguration(BuildSchema) .BuildSessionFactory(); so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.   How do I refer to the current directory in a shell script So I have this script which calls another script in the same directory #! /bin/sh #Call the other script ./foo.sh # do something ... For this I got ./foo.sh: No such file or directory So I changed it to: #! /bin/sh #Call the other script foo.sh # do something ... But this would call the foo script which is, by default, in the PATH. This is not what I want. So the question is, what's the syntax of doing './` in a shell script?

• Determine branch of origin from bzr blame

  I had a complicated change that affected a bunch of files. I don't remember what bazaar branch I wrote that change in. We have a somewhat complicated merge setup, so the branch I'm in now lumps that change in with a lot of other changes. I'd like to do some very similar work so it would be nice to pull the original diff. I feel like I should be able to use bzr blame. I run this command on one of the files bzr blame --long path/to/file and I find one of the pertinent lines and get something like 1107.6.213 dsmith@satie 20091202 | tinyMCE.init({ Can I use that to figure out what branch and revision the original change came from? What do the 6 and 213 stand for?

  I'm trying to build GNU Classpath 0.98 and JamVM 1.5.2. Following the JamVM readme, I did 'configure; make; make install' on the jamVM, and it worked. I then added jamvm and Sun javac to the path. Then with GNU Classpath I did this: ./configure --enable-jni --disable-gtk-peer --disable-gconf-peer --disable-plugin I got this error: The javac failed (see config.log) On the config.log, I see that javac can't find VMStackWalker (which is jamvm-specific) I added the jamvm classes to the CLASSPATH, then I got this error: The Java VM jamvm failed (see config.log) On the config.log, I see that jamvm cannot find java.lang.Class WTF?

  I'm trying to implement the Variable envelope return path (VERP) method to manage email addresses (ie when an email I send bounces back I want it to be sent to a specific email address so that I can update my database to avoid sending emails to that email address in the future). According to this article it is possible to specify the email address a bounce email is sent to. How do you do this in .Net? For example say I ([email protected]) want to send an email to you ([email protected]). If [email protected] doesn't exist anymore I want yourserver to send the bounce email to [email protected]). This way when I receive this bounced email I know that [email protected] is not a valid email address anymore and I can update my database accordingly. In this example, the bounce address would be: [email protected] How do you specify it using System.Net.Mail?

• ASP.NET Build Images Links Dynamically

  Good Day, I am developing a website that has product images on an external server. I have code that tests to see if the image exists like (pseudo code): DynamicString = FunctionThatCreatesDynamicString() ' DynamicString = "http://external_server/path/to/file1.jpg" If ImageExists(DyanmicString) = StatusCode.200 Then ' Embed link in ASP.NET page Else ' Embed not found image in ASP.NET page End If My code builds fine and appears to execute. The problem occurs when I attempt to view the external link in a browser, the image appears properly (I have to authenticate first, but that's OK considering I'm on an internal network and this app will be used internally). However, when I attempt the view the source in my generated HTML page, I am seeing the image to the "Not Found" image when I know the image is there. I compared all the characters in my dynamically assembled to the external link and all the characters are matching up correctly. I'm wondering if the authentication has anything to do with why the image is not rendering properly on my rendered HTML. Any thoughts? TIA, coson

  I have been looking for an answer for a few hours now, so sorry if this was asked a ton of times, I missed it. I basically want to make a rewrite to ignore the first directory. That first dir in the path will be different so I thought I could use a regex. But my regex is matching all the way to the file name: RewriteRule ^([a-z]+)?/(.+)$ $2 [L] this works if I am one level deep: http://test.domain.com/one/index.php I get the actual index page of the root. Which is what I want. but if I were to go deeper: http://test.domain.com/one/two/index.php I get a message saying /index.php was not found. So it seems my regex is not stopping after the last [a-z]. I appreciate any help. This is Apache2 if that matters at all.

  Hi All I have a simple EJB jar with a stateless session bean, deployed in JBOSS AS 4.2.2, unde r/server/default/deploy. The bean is registered under JNDI tree as viewed from jboss jmx console and I am able to access it through a remote java client outside JBOSS. Inside EJB jar, I have added some logging to be written to a separate log file, using apache log4j jar and log4j.xml. But I am not able to view any of the logs. Also I do not wish to use jboss-log4j.xml, since there will be many other EJBs to be deployed and wish to have separate log4j for each EJB application. Here is my one of the EJB-jar contents: EJB_DS.jar: log4j.xml classes apache log4j jar is added to /server/default/lib path. • http handlers not working on web server but works on localhost

  i have a couple of xml files in my asp.net web application that i don't want anyone to access other than my server side code. this is what i tried.. <add verb="*" path="*.xml" type="System.Web.HttpForbiddenHandler" /> i wrote this inside the <httpHandlers> it works well on the localhost but not in the server... the server without any hesitation displays the xml file... i have no idea how to proceed... thanks in advance..:)

  I am having trouble getting Rails autotest notifications to work on the Engine Yard Vagrant environment. On the Mac, I normally get the notifications via Growl. However, on the virtual environment (which runs Ubuntu) that doesn't work. I tried running Linux notification setups such as libnotify+autotest-notification, but I get the following error: libnotify-Message: Unable to get session bus: /bin/dbus-launch terminated abnormally with the following error: Autolaunch error: X11 initialization failed. ** (notify-send:1004): CRITICAL **: dbus_g_proxy_connect_signal: assertion `DBUS_IS_G_PROXY (proxy)' failed ** (notify-send:1004): CRITICAL **: dbus_g_proxy_connect_signal: assertion `DBUS_IS_G_PROXY (proxy)' failed ** (notify-send:1004): CRITICAL **: dbus_g_proxy_call: assertion `DBUS_IS_G_PROXY (proxy)' failed Another path would be to have Growl receive the notifications remotely, but I don't even know where to begin with that... • Sharing [config] data across modules,functions

  I have some configuration data in a config file that I read off disk when the app starts. I need to make that configuration data available to other functions/modules in the application. I started down the path of looking into ets/mnesia to store the data on startup to make it shared among all processes, but then my inner voice cautioned me that there must be a more functional, erlang-y way to do this. The only alternate approach I've come up with so far is setting up a module that has an actor loop that reads the data on startup and responds to messages like {Key, From} and responds by From ! {ok,Value}. • How do I get Cabal to bypass my Windows proxy settings?

  When retrieving packages with Cabal, I frequently get errors with this message: user error (Codec.Compression.Zlib: premature end of compressed stream) It looks like Cabal is using my Windows Networking proxy settings (for Privoxy). From digging around Google, Cabal or its libraries appear to have (had) a problem in this area. Possible solutions I can see are: Turn off proxying while using Cabal (not very keen on this one); or Get a patch and start hacking. I'm hesitant to go down this path, as I'm a complete Haskell noob and I'm not yet comfortable with Darcs; or Give it the magic "can I haz no proxy" parameter. Hence the question.
