• Error 1009 after gotoAndStop - stage instance never gets added

  I've been through the forums for hours (days?) searching on 1009 errors, but I remain stumped on this. It seems very mysterious and I would LOVE some help if you have any ideas. I have a single .swf that is 7 frames long - each frame represents a different "page" and you can switch pages through a menu widget in the top right corner. The menu widget calls gotoAndPlay( "frame" ). Everything works fine except when I switch from one particular frame to another. Then, during initialization of the new frame (setting some visible properties on various items, in actionscript), I get the dreaded 1009 error on a specific stage instance, a dynamic text instance i_word. Here's what I've tried so far: made sure the actionscript for the new frame starts with a stop() statement before starting initialization - no dice tried changing i_word into a movie_clip instead of dynamic text, made sure it was exported for actionscript - no difference. (I also have 2 other dynamic text instances on the same page that don't seem to cause a problem) added an ENTER_FRAME listener when the new frame is loaded, in case the problem was a timing issue. Put in a big if statement checking if i_word and other instances are not null before proceeding to initialization. It never enters the if, because i_word NEVER gets added. I added trace statements for all instances that are null, and it is the only one. If I remove all references to i_word in my actionscript, everything else is not null, and things go forward. The text for i_word even shows up on the screen in that case. tried renaming i_word - no dice tried deleting the layer i_word was on and adding a new layer - no dice It feels like there is a serious Gremlin in my flash file somewhere. Or maybe I'm missing something obvious. Let me know if you have any ideas...I'd be so grateful. Thank you! Elambda

• UIWebView loading/randering error after resize

  I have a screen with 2 UIWebView. The user can drag the views left and right to make the right and left view bigger (respectively) and the other one smaller (like UISplitView but customized and self made). I'm loading .html pages from strings and local .css files. After resizing the UIWebView If I load a new page there will be a black or white stripe on the right side of the UIWebView. This stripe is part of the web view (not a space between the views), and if I scroll the webView up and then down, the stripe will vanish and the page will be presented correctly. This issue occurs only in iOS 6 and only on the device (on the simulator it doesn't occur). Some notes: - The .css file contains elements with fixed position. Changing to absolute position didn't solve the problem but changed it: the black stripre occured during the drag. - As slower the drag is, the stripe will be bigger. - After resize the page is presented correctly, only when I load a new page the stripe is shown. - The time between resizing the web view and loading a page doesn't matter, it can be straight away or after couple of minutes. Now, as a workaround I create a new UIWebView and copy the old properties to the new. But than I need to reload the presented page which make a white blink... Any idea why does it happens, and how to fix it?

Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the <configuration>\<system.web>\<httpModules> section in the application configuration. How can I solve this issue? Is this the right way to set UserPermission access?

• Php header('Location") error

  I'm having some difficulty with my php coding. I have 3 files, add.php, lib.php, and view.php I created a simple form, and when the user clicks submit, it should direct them to the view.php where it will display the database. Now I'm having a couple issues I can't seem to resolve. when the user clicks submit and the fields are blank or there is an error no entry should be made into the view page (or database)...however when I click submit a blank entry is made into the database. ALSO if i click "enter product" from the top menu bar anytime I click it, it causes a blank entry into the database. I can't figure out why that's happening. My next issue is with the header('Location') and my browser says: "Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at lib.php:13) in add.php on line 16" However if I click submit on my form it goes away. Specifically, the system needs to satisfy the following: Discussion groups Project management (simple issue tracking, no complex workflows or vcs integrations) News feed for the project(s) File sharing based on authorization/user-roles Custom homepage Custom forms using MS SQL Server as a backend and contents of old forms searchable from the user interface. Now, I think [1-5] is possible using SharePoint (Comments are always welcome :)). I'm not sure about [6]. Is it possible? For instance, can an admin or a user of the SharePoint portal, create a custom form (without any programming) that uses MS SQL Server as a backend and publish it to the portal so that other users can also perform data entry? If it can be done (be it with or without some programming), can users perform text search on form data using the SharePoint interface?

  The Basic 64-bit Amazon Linux AMI has the following instance type options available: Micro Large Extra-Large High-Memory Extra Large ... etc I booted up this AMI as a micro type, made customizations, shut it down, detached the volume, took a snapshot, and registered my own custom AMI: ec2-register –snapshot [snapshot_id] –description "my description" –name "my name" –kernel aki-427d952b That worked. HOWEVER, when I try to create an instance from my custom AMI, only the following instance types are available: Micro Small High-CPU Medium ... which coincidentally are the same instance types available if you try to boot up the 32-bit Amazon image. Why are the available instance types of my custom image varying from the available instance types of the image I based it off of?

• Added and removed a custom service, but the keybinding is still stuck?

  I created a custom service in Automator to open a new finder window from whatever app I'm in, and assigned it to CMD+E (I was trying to get the WIN+E effect from Windows.) I tried it for a few days, restarted the computer daily, but found it didn't work that well. So I removed the keybinding, then removed the service, deleted the Automator file, etc. So, now the custom service is gone, but CMD+E still goes to the finder from whatever app I'm in! I added a custom shortcut to BBEdit in an attempt to restore its CMD+E action (find with selection), but it STILL goes to the finder! I just want CMD+E to do what it normally does in each app. Any ideas?

  We use a Barracuda Spam Filter at work, and we also provide a mass emailing program to some of clients that send out newsletters. Lately one of them's been composing his latest company newsletter and has been trying to send preview messages to himself, but they've actually been quarantined by Barracuda as potential spam, even though they aren't. I can see the breakdown of the spam scoring headers in Barracuda, but I'm not sure what certain rules mean. Is that referring to the file size of the image, or something about the attributes on the <img> tag?

  Can a custom DPI setting be applied to Remote Desktop sessions? When you try to change the DPI from a Remote Desktop session, you get a message that display settings can't be changed from a remote session. That made me think that changing DPI from a console setting would work. It did, sort of. If I connected via Remote Desktop to an existing console session with a custom DPI setting, that setting would be applied to the Remote Desktop session. However, if I logged off that session, the custom DPI would not be applied to subsequent Remote Desktop sessions even though it was maintained for subsequent console sessions. It looks like the registry value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics\AppliedDPI (and perhaps other values) is overwritten at logon, but I haven't been able figure out how to prevent it.

• Stumped by "The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden" with WCF Service in https

  I have a WCF Service that I have boiled down to next to nothing because of this error. It is driving me up the wall. Here's what I have now. A very simple WCF service with one method that returns a string with the value, "test". A very simple Web app that uses the service and puts the value of the string into a label. A web server running IIS 6 on Win 2003 with a SSL certificate. Other WCF services on the same server that work. I publish the WCF service to it's https location I run the web app in debug mode in VS and it works perfectly. I publish the web app to it's https location on the same server the WCF service resides under the same SSL certificate I get, "The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden" I have changed almost every setting in IIS as well as the WCF and Web apps to no avail. I have compared setting in the WCF services that work and everything is the same. Below are the setting in the web.config for the WCF Service and the WEB app: It appears the problem has to do with the Web app but I am out of ideas. • WCF app Deployed on Win7 Machine and get connection refused error

  I have created a Sync Framework application based on the following sample from microsoft and deployed it to a new Windows 7 machine for testing. The app runs ok but when I attempt to communicate I get the following error: Could not connect to http://localhost:8000/RelationalSyncContract/SqlSyncService/. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:8000. I am wondering if there is something I am missing. This is my first experience using WCF and followed microsoft sample code. I have disabled the firewall and opened port 8000 for both TCP and UDP. Not sure what to look at next. • Ninject 3.0 MVC kernel.bind error Auto Registration

  Getting and error on kernel.Bind(scanner = ... "scanner" has the little error line under it in VS 2010. Cannot convert lambda expression to type 'System.Type[]' because it is not a delegate type Tyring to Auto Register like the old kernel.scan in 2.0. I can not figure out what i am doing wrong. Remove the old reference to the *.snk file from the project. Add the paired key back to the project as an existing item.   EDIT: It was issue with database table - dropping and recreating table id column did the work. Problem solved. I'm trying to build web application, that is connected to postgresql database. Results are displaying in view with Kendo UI. When I'm trying to add new row (with Kendo UI 'Add new record' button), I get error 23505: 'Duplicate key violates unique constraint'. My guess is, that EF takes id to insert from the beginning, not the last one, because after 35 (it's number of rows in table) tries - and errors - adding works perfectly. • Flex Error: Repeater is not executing.

  Hello Everyone, I have been trying to get a Repeater to work since yesterday. It works the first time it has been loaded with data but the second time, it is loaded, the following error results with the debugger higlighting a row with the statement isHandlingEvent = false; in the watcherFired method of the Binding class. This happens whether the Repeater is updated by setting its dataProvider or if a bound variable is changed.
