• FileNotFound Exception when using TestDriven.NET and NUnit

  I'm Writing a simple pong game in C# and XNA 4.0 to learn unit testing. The tools used are TestDriven.NET and NUnit, all newest versions. The problem is, if I test the code with VS2010 internal debugger, everything runs fine, but when I use "Run Test(s)" from menu, the application chokes with error: Test 'WindowsGame1.Game1.TestGameMenu' failed: Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Content.ContentLoadException : Error loading "SpaceBackground". File not found. ----> System.IO.FileNotFoundException : Error loading "Content\SpaceBackground.xnb". File not found. (some more below...) So it stops when the first textre is going to be loaded. • Open source project home page

  I've created a software that I want to be able to market. I'd like to be able to post it on forums etc and for that I need a home page. Is there any open source C# project home pages that you can use? The functionality I'm looking for is like adding new versions (perhaps a version control from the software), downloading and user guides. So what I want is pretty basic: I want to be able to upload and let the users download. I've written this on my own as well but I guess that if there are open source projects that have done this they're probably better. This can't be such a rare problem so please lead me to some resources so that I can create my page and publish my software! :)

• Importing contacts into the GAL

  I have a list of People and E-Mail addresses that my client would like to be able to download and then import into their GAL (Global Address List) in Outlook. Right now it is in a DataGrid. Several questions... Is that possible? What format do I need to put the list into so that it can be imported? How do I import it? I haven't been able to find out much on the topic, so cheers for any help or guidance!

  I'm trying to update Eclipse 5.3.1 (on Gentoo Linux) from the Galileo Discovery Site and I get this error message: Network connection problems encountered during search. Unable to access "http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo". Error accessing site stream.   I've been trying to get the pubsub sample in the NServiceBus download to work in a gateway mode. I haven't really been able to find out much detail at all about how to get NServiceBus to run in gateway mode. How do I setup the publisher/server in gateway mode? When I did try I received an access denied exception which would either be due to the account I'm running it under or I'm missing something. How do I setup the subscribers/clients to communicate to the gateway? Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  I going to use Google Checkout to process orders to purchase downloadable content. When the order process is completed via Google Checkout I'd like for the user to be able come back to my site, authenticate using their Google credentials (OpenID?) that they purchased the item with linked back end, and download the goods. The site is written using C# and ASP.NET MVC. Is this possible or how should I rethink this? Are there open-source libraries to get me started?

• Dropdown Menus In Drupal?

  Hi, I have my Drupal site here so far: selkirk.treethink.net Each Primary Link at the top has a bunch of other primary links under it (sub links) I need to display these sub links when you hover over the parent primary link in a dropdown menu. Everything is in the primary links but there are parents (what you see at the top of the demo) and sub links (what should be in the dropdown). I'm not sure if I set up these menus wrong though...Drupal is a little awkward for me. I did download this module but I am not sure how to get it going to automatically dropdown a primary link's submenu items when rolled over: http://drupal.org/project/jquery_dropdown Thanks, Wade

• How can I link glibc statically with qt

  I have built a static version of qt and download a static version of glibc. Now I would like to link glibc statically to my qt application. I know about going into the .pro and adding the line LIBS += -L path/to/static_lib but I am wondering if these that is enough? Will it still link glibc statically even though the OS I am building on has the dynamic libraries also? The reason I am doing this is to deploy the application in a standalone manner. (After installing and updating Red Hat 5.3 glibc_2.9 was not found on the target computer)

• Reading and parsing email from Gmail using C#, C++ or Python

  I have to do a Windows application that from times to times access a Gmail account and checks if there is a new email. In case there is, it must read the email body and subject (a simple text email, without images or attachments). Please, do not use paid libs, and in case of any other libs used, give the download path. And I need the email body and subject only. So if the long and complex message that comes from Gmail could be parsed and only two strings containing the subject and the body, it would be perfect. Finally, I only have to get the new messages arrived since the last execution. So the read messages could be marked as "read" and only the new ones (marked as "new") are considered. The code can be written in Python or C++, but I prefer it in C#. Thank you for the help.

  Hi I am trying to integrate Django-Paypal onto a site, where once the customer makes a payment I need to send a dynamic URL from which the user can download some specific information. I am registering all users to a URL which allows them to buy the document. The URL which can only be accessed by a registered user with a verified email ids using django-registration, allows the user to connect to paypal and make payment. How do I capture the signal and verify which user has made the payment for which product he/she is purchased, based on this information 1) I need to know two information, which user made the payment, and for which product did he or she make the payment? 2) Only if I have these information can I send the right UR:L by email. Any help appreciated. I am not very sure how django-signals work. What all details does payment_was_successful signal return? I am using IPN

• SSIS web service task parsing result.

  I have an ssis (2005) package that uses the web service task to download to a file destination. The file contains a string of xml data. After downloaded the file looks like this. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?> <string>--here is XML data with escaped characters--</string> My thought was I could then use the XML source data flow source to pull the <string> data, but when I set this up the XML source will not read the <string> as a column. It will generate an xsd and it seems normal, but no luck seeing the column. Any ideas on getting this to work? Or would there be a better way to pull the data within the file generated from the web service? Thanks.

  Hey! I have a computer on a small network, so my ip is 192.168.2.100. I am trying to get my real ip. I download the no-ip client but that just seems like a lot of trouble for such a simple thing. I created this php script that got http://www.ip-adress.com/ page and retrieved the ip it gave me. Is there a simpler way? Either using C, WSH or something. Or if there is an easier way in php please tell me. When I get the ip I'll uploaded it to my ftp site so that I can see the ip from work.

  I am trying to determine if a qualification exists on http://www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk in the form: http://www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk/qualification/50084811.seo.aspx 50084811 being a qualification aim entered by the end user. If they enter an invalid one e.g. http://www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk/qualification/50084911.seo.aspx They are redirected to an error page (with incorrect http headers as far as I can see). Is there a way to detect the redirect in C#. I would hope to be able to detect the redirect in http headers (thinking it will issue 2) or similar as oppose to having to download the whole page. This could be happening a lot so I would like to minimize traffic.

  This is what the Java site www.java.com says: "KVM, the virtual machine for mobile devices, is the counterpart of JVM (Java virtual machine). It is used to run applets and applications written with Java technology on mobile devices. KVM must be installed by the manufacturer. It is NOT available for download or installation by consumers". Now Android has a customized virtual machine called DVM (Dalvik Virtual Machine). Can we compare it with KVM? Wonder if we can further reprogram DVM to incorporate features of KVM to run applets on Android? Same goes for Blacberry, is there a possibility?

  I have Python 3.1.2 and I'm using Windows XP. Where can I see Python's implementation of the Mersenne Twister? In the Python docs it is stated that the Mersenne Twister was written in C and the Python History and License ( http://docs.python.org/py3k/license.html?highlight=mersenne%20twister ) states that "The _random module includes code based on a download from http://www.math.keio.ac.jp/matumoto/MT2002/emt19937ar.html." random.py imports _random which apparently has the Mersenne Twister implementation in it. I can't seem to locate _random. Any thoughts?

  Hello Guys, I'm a total noob when it comes to iPhone development and have been tasked to create a database app that can download and upload sqlite data to and from a server via http using web services. So far I already have a form for retrieving and saving data to a SQLite database and now I need some information on how I can upload the SQLite data to a server. The SQLite database will only have one table with 3 columns and about 200 rows max. I hope somebody can point me to the right direction or lead me to some sample codes. Appreciate any help.

• PDB file from different versions of Visual Studio

  I have an old DLL file which was built with VC++ 6. Now I need to investigate the dump file but I don't have its PDB available. The stacktrace reported by WinDbg is also inaccurate. Is it possible to rebuild the project with later versions of Visual Studio i.e. 2003, 2005, 2008, have the PDB generated, and use this to map addresses to symbols in the old DLL? Is there something like VC 6.0 compatible mode for building project? Obtaining VC++ 6 is one option, but it looks like VS6.0 has already vanished from MSDN subscriber download page :( Thanks!

I'm using Visual studio 2008 with C# and SharpSVN dll (for Subversion 1.6) I wish to commit to multiple different folders in my repository, but without having to checkout the entire repository. I tried using the method: SVNClient.Commit (ICollection coll, CommitArgs ca); Where eg coll [0] = "c:\svnCheckoutDir\dirLic001\sect\file_ext.ini" and coll [1] = "c:\svnCheckoutDir\dirLic121\sect\file_ext.ini" but I get the error message: "c:\svnCheckoutDir" is not a working copy. when I download the entire repository, I have no problems. but when I do a checkout of the folders you just want to modify the process does not work. • Office documents prompt for login in anonymous SharePoint site

  I have a MOSS 07 site that is configured for anonymous access. There is a document library within this site that also has anonymous access enabled. When an anonymous user clicks on a PDF file in this library, he or she can read or download it with no problem. When a user clicks on an Office document, he or she is prompted with a login box. The user can cancel out of this box without entering a log in, and will be taken to the document. This happens in IE but not FireFox.   HI,all I am trying to install an app in the iphone using the adhoc build configuration for this i have made all the things first i created the app id that is enable fort he APNS and then create the profile and certificates and than i download to my system and then in the project i have made a plist name Adhoc_Entitlements.plist and in the code signing entitlements i put it name with extension and in the bundle identifier i put the name of the identifier that is used in the provision file and when i try to install in the device it throws the error i have mentioned,Any solution or anything that i am doing wrong.This is the error message i got when i try to install in the device.   Hi there, I extended a ModelAdmin with a custom field "Download file", which is a link to a URL in my Django project, like: http://www.myproject.com/downloads/1 There, I want to serve a file which is stored in a S3-bucket. The files in the bucket are not public readable, and the user may not have direct access to it. Now I want to avoid that the file has to be loaded in the server memory (these are multi-gb-files) avoid to have temp files on the server The ideal solution would be to let django act as a proxy that streams S3-chunks directly to the user. I use boto, but did not find a possibility to stream the chunks. Any ideas? Thanks.

  Hi, I have just started creating an Adobe AIR+AJAX app which will need to upload and download files from the server using ftp functionality. Right now what is happening is I need to use sockets for this which is way to confusing and difficult to maintain. So, I was wondering if anybody has developed a javascript library or functionality for ftp? I don't want to rely on any serverside script for this. • Python with PIL and Libjpeg on Leopard

  I'm having trouble getting pictures supported with PIL - it throws me this: "IOError: decoder jpeg not available" I installed PIL from binary, not realizing I needed libjpeg. I installed libjpeg and freetype2 through fink. I tried to reinstall PIL using instructions from http://timhatch.com/ (bottom of the page) "* Download PIL 1.1.6 source package and have the Developer Tools already installed * Patch setup.py with this patch so it can find the Freetype you already have. (patch -p0 < leopard_freetype2.diff) * sudo apt-get install libjpeg if you have fink (otherwise, build by hand and adjust paths)" But I'm still getting the same error. I'm on Leopard PPC.
