  • Azure storage - double decimal point ignored on save

    - by Fabio Milheiro
I have a value that is correctly stored in a property of an object, but when I save the changes to the Azure storage database, the double value is stored to the database ignoring the point (7.1000000003 is saved as 711). Also, the property is changed to 711.0. How do I solve this problem? The field is already set to double in the class and the database table.

In MySQL, you can use \G to run a query: select * from mytable\G And your results will be displayed in an inverted table, kinda like this: *************************** 1. row *************************** column1: 12345 another_colum: another value yet_another: ABCD *************************** 2. row *************************** column1: 238479 another_colum: another value again yet_another: WXYZ Is there any way to get a similar format using Oracle / sqlplus?

  • iPhone SDK reload UIView's content

    - by Matt S.
I have two views, one view takes the whole screen, the second view covers only a little portion. What I want is for that second view to be on the first view (which I already have done), but the problem is, when I set values (in this case UILabel's) the label on the screen doesn't display that new value. I know for a fact the method gets called, but for some reason it won't change the label's value.

  • How to parameterize @Scheduled(fixedDelay) with Spring 3.0 expression language?

    - by ngeek
When using the Spring 3.0 capability to annotate the a scheduled task, I would like to set the fixedDelay as parameter from my configuration file, instead of hard-wiring it into my task class, like currently... @Scheduled(fixedDelay=5000) public void readLog() { ... } Unfortunately it seems that with the means of the Spring Expression Language (EL) @Value returns a String object which in turn is not able to be auto-boxed to a long value as required by the fixedDelay parameter. Thanks in advance for your help on this.

  • A polygon creation program, adjacent face ignoring not working right. Any solutions?

    - by user292767
I'm working on a simple program that converts a 3d array into a polygon structure similar to voxels. It reads the array and creates cubes for positions with a value and checks adjacent directions (North, south, east, west,up,down) for a null value before setting up a cube's face. A link that displays the full code is below, written in GLBasic. Some snapshots to show you whats up. link text

  • What's FirstOrDefault for DateTime in Linq?

    - by Keltex
If I have a query that returns a DateTime, what's the value of FirstOrDefault? Is there a generic way to get the default value of a C# scalar? Example: var list = (from item in db.Items where item.ID==1234 select item.StartDate).FirstOrDefault(); Edit: Assume that the column StartDate can't be null.

Basically this, but in pure javascript: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2346257/how-to-get-value-of-select-tag-based-on-content-of-select-tag-using-nokogiri So I have a select list with a lot of countries/states, and I want to be able to select one based on what is between the tags. Argentina (I know i could use the value, but each one is a random mesh of numbers, so i would have to collect each individual one - not economical...)

  • Can I ensure all tests contain an assertion in test/unit?

    - by Andrew Grimm
With test/unit, and minitest, is it possible to fail any test that doesn't contain an assertion, or would monkey-patching be required (for example, checking if the assertion count increased after each test was executed)? Background: I shouldn't write unit tests without assertions - at a minimum, I should use assert_nothing_raised if I'm smoke testing to indicate that I'm smoke testing. Usually I write tests that fail first, but I'm writing some regression tests. Alternatively, I could supply an incorrect expected value to see if the test is comparing the expected and actual value.

In this application, when I make two ajax call asynchrounoulsy that would not do as I expceted. what is happening is even the second ajax call finishes i can see the result when the maximum time out ajax call finished. I mean i can see the both results in the same time, not one by one. for an example. I have 3 pages 1) main.aspx - for make two ajax request. 2) totalCount.aspx - to find the total count. (max it takes 7 seconds to return, as corresponding table contains 3 lak records) 3) rowCount.aspx - to find the row details. (max it takes 5 seconds to return result). due to this scene, I have planed to make asyn call in jquery ajax in asp.net. here is my code... function getResult() { getTotalCount(); getRows(); } // it takes max 7 seconds to complete // as it take 7 seconds it should display second.( I mean after the rows dispaying) // but displaying both at the same time after the max time consuming ajax call completed. function getTotalCount() { $.ajax({ type : "POST", async : true, url : "totalCount.aspx?data1=" + document.getElementById("data").value, success : function(responseText) { $("#totalCount").attr("value", responseText); } }) } // it takes max 5 seconds to complete. // after finished, this should display first.( i mean before total count displays) // but displaying both at the same time after the max time consuming ajax call completed. function getRows() { $.ajax({ type : "POST", url : "getrows.aspx?data1=" + document.getElementById("data").value, async : true, success : function(responseText) { $("#getRows").attr("value", responseText); } }); } I would like to know, If there is any possible to make asyn call in jquery ajax in asp.net. • Definition of SNMP Gauge32 vs Counter32

    - by DougN
Can someone point me to a good definition of Gauge32 vs Counter32? I understand that Counter32 can wrap, but Gauge32 can't. I'm trying to understand their semantics. For example, I've heard you should take the difference between two Counter32 readings to get a value/second. Is there something like that for a Gauge32 value? Thanks for any insight.
