The strange thing is that the City Markers do show up. Some more info, the City Markers ajax call is just to a proxy that calls the google geocoding api.     I've looked around a bit for a great JavaScript Sprite Sheet animator lib/engine but couldn't find any good ones so I thought I'd ask around =). What I'm looking for in the engine is: Animate an image in a non-canvas setting (ex: div via css or img tags) Control frame rate/animation speed Flags to loop or to animate once etc. Are there any engines like this out there? If not I can always make my own but then again, I don't want to re-invent the wheel =].

  • Stretching DIV to 100% height and width of window but not less than 800x600px

    I have a page that needs to stretch and resize with with window and I've managed to do that but I need that the "inner div" (#pgContent) stretch if the window is resized to higher dimensions but that it doesn't shrink more than, let's say for example 800 x 600 px. As I have it now it stretches well but it also shrinks more than I want! It's working as I want in width but not in height!?   • ASP.NET MVC 2 Preview 2 Route Request Not Working

    Here's the error: The incoming request does not match any route. Basically I upgraded from Preview 1 to Preview 2 and got rid of a load of redundant stuff in relation to areas (as described by Phil Haack). It didn't work so I created a brand new project to check out how its dealt with in Preview 2. The file Default.aspx no longer exists which contains the following: public void Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e) { // Change the current path so that the Routing handler can correctly interpret // the request, then restore the original path so that the OutputCache module // can correctly process the response (if caching is enabled). string originalPath = Request.Path; HttpContext.Current.RewritePath(Request.ApplicationPath, false); IHttpHandler httpHandler = new MvcHttpHandler(); httpHandler.ProcessRequest(HttpContext.Current); HttpContext.Current.RewritePath(originalPath, false); } The error I received points to the line httpHandler.ProcessRequest(HttpContext.Current); yet in newer projects none of this even exists. To test it, I quickly deleted Default.aspx but then absolutely nothing worked, I didn't even receive any errors.     I read that PLinq will automatically use non parallel Linq if it finds PLinq to be more expensive. So I figured then why not use PLinq for everything (when possible) and let the runtime decide which one to use. The apps will be deployed to multicore servers and I am OK to develop a little more code to deal with parallelism. What are the pitfalls of using plinq as a default?

  • Sqlite3 and PDO problem with ORDER BY

    Hi, I try to use the SQL statement SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY column via an PDO-Object in PHP. Problem is, that I always get an error (Call to a member function fetchall() on a non-object - that means, the query did not return a PDO-object) when using the names of all columnname EXCEPT for ID. When I query SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY ID it works. ID is the PRIMARY INTEGER KEY, all other columns are TEXT or NUMERIC, neither of them would works with the ORDER BY clause. Any ideas?

I want to redirect that to use HTTPS (SSL) with .htaccess, but only on this, and a couple of other pages (the login page, etc), but not the entire site. The URLs don't point to directories, but are used to dynamically include different files. Can someone give me a pointer or an example of how to get a single page redirect to HTTPS please?     I have a DataGridView that is bound to a DataTable, it has a column that is a double and the values need to be between 0 and 1. For example lets say the old value was .1 and I enter 3. The above code runs when you exit the cell and dgvImpRDP_InfinityRDPLogin[e.ColumnIndex, e.RowIndex].Value will be .1 for that run, the code validates and writes 3 the data to the DataTable. I click on it a second time, try to leave, and this time it behaves like it should, it raises the error icon for the cell and prevents me from leaving. I try to enter the correct value (say .7) but the the Value will still be 3 and there is now no way out of the cell because it is locked due to the error and my validation code will never push the new value. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. EDIT -- New version of the code based off of Stuart's suggestion and mimicking the style the MSDN article uses.   • What causes POCO proxy entities to only sometimes be created in Entity Framework 4.

    I have set up my POCOs and I have marked their public properties as virtual and I am successfully getting Proxies most of the time (95%) but randomly I am getting EF return some proxies and some non-proxies. Recycling the app pool when this happens will then fix this instance of the error and it will go away for an amount of time. Then it will re-occur in some other random (it seems) place.
