• Unable to download trace file

  Whenever I switch to DDMS view and start method profiling, I get the following error message when I stop profiling: Method Profiling Error: Unable to download trace file: Remote object doesn't exist! This only happens with 1.6 and 2.1 AVDs, 2.2 and 2.3 work fine. I've been having this problem ever since the latest update to the Eclipse Android plugin. I'm using Eclipse 3.5.2 on Ubuntu 10.04 with Android Development Toolkit version 8.0.0.v201011171904-77661. Let me know if you need any more information.

• Which implementation of OrderedDict should be used in python2.6?

  As some of you may know in python2.7/3.2 we'll get OrderedDict with PEP372 however one of the reason the PEP existed was because everyone did their own implementation and they were all sightly incompatible. So which one of the 8 current implementations link text is backwards compatible with the 2.7 odict from python 2.7 in a way we can start using that now and depend on 2.7 in a couple of months?

Now if everything goes well, it commits, but on failure it leaves transaction open and on another start of transaction it commits incomplete changes from failed transaction. • C#. How to terminate a thread which has spawned another thread which is sleeping?

  I have a long running thread made from Thread.Start(). It spawns a background thread using QueueUserWorkItem which sleeps most of the time. Then the class-owner get disposed I call thread1.Join() but naturally it doesnt return because its child background thread is sleeping.
