  I'm trying to have an accurate Unix timestamp values for: today, this week, this month, this year There are a few snags however: - Today should be everything since last midnight - This week should start on the last/this monday - This month (should know if its 30/31 days or 28/29 days feb) - This should be the very beginning of the current year up til now I want to do this without mysql at all, purely in php as I need it as an accurate Unix timestamp to assign to a variable.   ALTER TABLE can easily take a few days - and during this time there's a non-negligible chance of connection getting terminated due to network problems. Is it possible to start ALTER TABLE (or CREATE TABLE ... SELECT ...; or some other very long running query) and leave it running without keeping connection open all the time? (the obvious solution of screen + console mysql client won't easily work as there's no ssh running on that server, only mysqld).

  hi all, i've been reinstalling my oracle and somehow when im trying to start them, it says that apphelp.dll is missing. when i lookup in c:/window/systems32 the apphelp.dll was there. i also download new from internet and try to replace them in case it crash but it said that i cannot delete the file coz it's still running. my question is, if i was doing the right thing by replacing the apphelp.dll can solve my problem, how can i stop this apphelp.dll? thanks

• Why would my Silverlight 4 Out-of-Browser application just display white?

  My Silverlight application works fine when running in a browser. But when I install it as an out-of-browser application, the Window frame comes up with an appropriate icon and title, but the content of the window is just white. It is in the start menu but when I close it and open again, it is still blank. I reproduced this on Windows 7 and Windows XP.
