    How to access my local host server from internet have installed WAMP server on my Windows XP, And i had created a index.php file in my root folder, and i assigned a virtual name to my localhost. eg: earlier i accessed my index.php via: Code: http:// localhost/ index.php but now i can access like : Code: http: //www. mysite. com/index.php but the problem is that i can access this from my computer only.. how can i use it from internet.. please help me.... This is for sure that I don't exactly know what to ask because this is my first application on this scale. But one thing is clear that this application should pass a load test of 1 million concurrent request.

  • Custom 403 Error page not showing

    I want to restrict access to certain folders (includes, xml and logs for example) and so I've given them 700 permissions, and all files within them 600 permissions. Firstly, is this the right approach to restrict access? I have a .htaccess file in my root that handles rewriting and error documents. There are two pages in the root - 403.php and 404.php - for 403 and 404 errors. And I have these rules added to my .htaccess file: ErrorDocument 404 /404.php ErrorDocument 403 /403.php Now, the 404 page works just fine. The 403 page does not show when I try to access the 'includes' folder - I get the standard apache 403 error page instead, saying 'Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.' However, when I try going to the .htaccess file (in the web root) in my browser, I get my custom 403 error page. Why is this happening?

    I have several SQL server backups on a server. I have created a batch file which then copies these to network drives. These are mapped to the server, and it works properly. Now, I've created a scheduled task to do this. If I select "run the task when logged in", I can test the task. It works fine. However I cannot test it with the other option "run task if logged in or not". I've read that testing this task is not possible manually. However the task runs when we log off the server automatically.

    i installed mysql mysql-server and mysql-libs ... after installation i thought to start the mysql service using command systemctl start mysqld.service Failed to issue method call: Unit mysqld.service failed to load: Invalid argument.     Hi, I try to apply flattened css to xhtml (which get from websites). I am using css4j-0.12.1.jar (from http://www.informatica.info/projects/css/) to process the url html content. For a few urls the code seems to be hang. Even no exception is thrown. For a particular stylableelement or style code doesnot return any value and hangs. For a few websites code hang in, CSSStyleDeclaration.getPropertyValue(style); and for a few websites code hang in, CSSStylableElement.getComputedStyle(); I am using the latest jar. Could you please update me, is there any known issue or fix for this. I am not sure where to post this issue. If anyone knows please update me. Thanks in Advance.

    I have installed Cisco vpn client version 5.0.07.0290 on Vista Business SP2. I am able to successfully connnect to the vpn. But after connecting I am not able to access any resource in the vpn (like database, other computers in the network etc.). I have tried the following without any success : Older versions of the client Other vpn clients like Shrewsoft : same issue as the cisco vpn client Disabled Internet Connection Sharing service Installed the client in the root administrator account Run the installer as administrator Run the vpngui and ipsecdialer in XP compatibility mode and as administrator I am not sure how to troubleshoot this issue. Can somebody please help me in troubleshooting this issue? P.S : I've Zonealarm firewall, can that be an issue?

    A friend of mine had GPT partition n his Lenovo laptop. While formatting the computer and reinstalling the OS, I wiped of all the partitions, and created 4 new partitions. Now after installing everything, when I turned off the laptop. It isn't booting, I checked the BIOS settings, and tried booting Ubuntu off my life disc, it ran well, but again, I can't boot anymore. Later I figured out, that this is happening because I had deleted the GPT partition, and now the OS has tried to create MBR records, so basically this is the problem.

    Hi, I have created a project zfapi by zf command in ubuntu. Now http://myserverpath.com/zfapi/ gives me listing of folder public application and others. http://myserverpath.com/zfapi/public give me the index page index.php. and i have made the UserController.php in application/controllers but by http://myserverpath.com/zfapi/user/ is saying user not found. what configuration i need to set for running it proper.   • How to set up multiple SSIDs with bandwidth limiting on a single wireless router?

    I have an Asus WL-520GU wireless router connected to a cable modem that I use for wireless internet access in my apartment. I would like to set it up so that it provides two SSIDs: one secured and password-protected for my regular use, and a "guest" SSID that's unsecured but throttled to, say, 10% of the available bandwidth. What is the most straightforward way to do this? I've been looking into DD-WRT and Tomato, both of which support my router. DD-WRT supports setting up multiple SSIDs using the GUI, but I don't know if it's possible to limit the bandwidth of each SSID independently; point #12 in this FAQ thread says it's not possible to limit by day or by MAC address, which is discouraging but not conclusive. Tomato allows bandwidth limits in its QoS settings, going by the screenshot here, but multiple SSID support is still experimental and it doesn't look like it will work with the encryption settings or bandwidth limits in the GUI. I'd like to know a good way to do this which gives me the fewest opportunities for screwing up. I'm no stranger to the command line, if that turns out to be what's necessary, but if so, please explain what the commands are doing because I don't have a good mental model of what needs to happen to set this up.

  • CD/DVD Drive not detecting locally burned CD/DVDs, but works fine with Genuine discs.

    I'm using Dell Inspiron 1420 - 32 Bit - Windows Vista, since 2.5 years. I'm facing a strange problem with my CD/DVD-drive. I cannot run/play a CD/DVD which I get burned from my friends. But when I insert Genuine CD, I'm able to play/run it. And when I try to install my Vista package which I got with my notebook, the CD/DVD gets loaded. If I insert a CD/DVD which I get from my friend, CD doesn't get loaded and the system gets hanged. But all these CDs/DVDs work on other systems. I've tested it on many of my friends PCs. So, now I'm able to run only genuine CDs & a few genuine DVDs. My Experience/Experiments: I tried to install Windows Vista using Genuine DVD - It worked I tried to install Ubuntu which I got from shipped from Canonical Ltd. - It worked I tried to install OpenSUSE .iso file burned to a DVD in my friend's PC - It didn't work for me (But working perfectly fine in my friends PCs(Tested in 4 other PCs) Tried to play a DVD containing movies, burned in my friend's PC - It didn't work for me (But working perfectly fine in my friends PCs Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. But when I launch winamp for playing mp3, some of the video files( like .flv, etc.,) automatically get changed the file opening mode to winamp player. This happens every time even if I set it back to 'default program'. Can someone please help me out.

    ? In my office, the network admin has restricted the download limit to a size of 1.8MB for any file. This is for sub ordinates accounts only. But for my manager's PC, there are no restrictions. Is there any way to download files from my PC by using my managers' ip address. I just tried using his ip on my pc but, had the same problem. ? Earlier I was given access to our Linux server from my pc using putty. Then I used to download large files on to the server and then transfer from server to my machine using fire ftp. This transfer worked perfectly fine. But, now I don't have any access to the server. So can I be able to download large files using fire ftp from my own PC ? I'm using Windows XP machine. Please suggest a solution by any possible combination. Thanks.
