  • XNA .FBX Vertex Color Missing

    When I vertex paint and export my models from Blender (or Maya) for use in my XNA 4.0 project, I somehow lose the vertex color channel for the model. I use no custom model object or content pipelines and my own shader throws me the error: The current vertex declaration does not include all the elements required by the current vertex shader. Color0 is missing. I tryed to reopen the model in other modeling tools and the vertex colors are there. What could cause the vertex color channel to not get loaded in XNA 4.0?   • Dynamically changing background color of specific text without changing other attributes

    I've written a chrome extension to find text on a page based on a regex query. When text is matched, I wrap the matched text in a <span> tag that has the class highlight where highlight only changes the background color to yellow. The issue is that sometimes there are already styles applied to <span> tags in a webpage. For example, the webpage might have this defined: span { font-size: 200%; } So when I insert my <span> tag in another <span> tag, the font-size is actually 400%. Is there an easy way for my code to just change certain properties of the text, like the background color, without applying the webpage's styles twice?

  • Maintaining white space in html select tag

    Hi, I have a list of strings that I would like to display in a HTML select object. The strings look something like : id - name - description I would like the fields to align however. In PHP I'm using sprintf ("%4s%10s%20s", $id, $name, $description); which works fine. The problem is the multiple spaces is compacted to 1 space in the select list. I tried using the pre and white-space CSS properties of the select box, but it has no effect. Any suggestions?

    I've tested NoSQL databases like CouchDB, MongoDB and Cassandra and observed tendence to absorbing very large amount of drive space relative to inserted key-value pairs. When comparing CouchDB and MySQL schemaless databases CouchDB is consuming much more drive space than MySQL. I know about that key-value DBs by default are versioning and have long uuid and need key optimalisation - the comparison was between about 15 mln rows in MySQL and 1-5 mln documents listed NoSQL DB's. My question is : Is there any NoSQL with good compaction / compression of data? So that I can have NoSQL database with a size closer to 5GB than 50GB?

    Hello, I have a problem with the IE (what else?): I generate content with CSS which has also a background-image. I looks like that: #nav ul li:after { content: "--"; position: relative; z-index: 99; background: transparent url(image.png); color: transparent; } The text color is in non-IE-browsers transparent, but in all IE browsers it's black and you could see it. How could I make the text transparent/unvisible? I tried already: visibility - opacity - filter - text-indent ... But none did his job right, either it disappears (with it background which I need) or the attribute doesn't apply.

The label have number of characters so I can't set a fixed width on the label.     Please have a look at this page www.pixeli.ca/issue. I have begun making a page layout using CSS framework 960.gs. My problem is that there is some strange space appears between block with top image and blue block with "hello" string. So you can see a green stripe there that shouldn't be visible at all. I tried different variants and have no idea what's wrong with it. I noticed that it happens only with the block with images inside them, but if there is only text, no space happens. Thanks.

    Hi In my app i'm using a UITableViewController ("grouped style") which in one of its section I want the user to be able to see what he had selected by making this cell colored and other "uncolored". Doing it by updating all cells' background color and reloading table data, each time user touches a cell (in didSelectRowAtIndexPath:) Problem is that there is some processing made in the didSelectRowAtIndexPath: so the color doesn't get changed right a way, rather in a bit delay after touch was made. (I gusse the processing is the resone for the tiny delay) Is there a better way of doing it? Any help will be appreciated Liron P.S. I'm new to all of this...

Find the repeated integer in O(n) time and constant space. There is no range for the value of integers or the value of N For example given an array of 6 integers as 23 45 67 87 23 47. The answer is 23 (I hope this covers ambiguous and vague part) I searched on the net but was unable to find any such question in which range of integers was not fixed. Also here is an example that answers a similar question to mine but here he created a hash table with the highest integer value in C++.But the cpp does not allow such to create an array with 2^64 element(on a 64-bit computer).

    Using the variables extension, I want to change the background color of a cell in a table. So far I've done this: {{#vardefine:green|<span style="background:Green; color:White">text</span>}} The problem is that, when I add {{#var:green}} to the cell, only the text itself has a green background. Ideally, I want the whole cell to have a background color, like it does if I use this: | bgcolor="#ff00ff" | test or this | style="background:silver" |silver in the cell. Does anyone know how to solve this?
