  • Dynamically add files to visual studio deployment project.

    I've been desperately looking for the answer to this and I feel I'm missing something obvious. I need to copy a folder full of data files into the TARGETDIR of my deployment project at compile time. I can see how I would add individual files (ie. right click in File System and go to Add-File) but I have a folder full of data files which constantly get added to. I'd prefer not to have to add the new files each time I compile. I have tried using a PreBuildEvent to copy the files: copy $(ProjectDir)..\Data*.* $(TargetDir)Data\ which fails with error code 1 when I build. I can't help but feel I'm missing the point here though. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Graeme

  • Collection View Item binding issue

    I have two entities in a Data Model, ENTITY_A, and ENTITY_B, that are related (ENTITY_A with a one-to-many relationship to ENTITY_B named DetailItems). I have set up a NSCollectionView with its appropriate bindings to ENTITY_A, and have placed on a Collection View Item a label. If I bind the label to [Collection View Item] and with a Model Key Path of [representedObject.FIELD_NAME], it works great. If I bind it to a Model Key Path [representedObject.DetailItems.@count], again it works great. If I bind it to a Model Key Path [[email protected]_NAME], I get the following error on the console: addObserver:forKeyPath:options:context:] is not supported. Key path: @sum.FIELD_NAME. Can anyone please help? Thank you, Harry

  • How to merge a "branch" that isn't really a branch (wasn't created by an svn copy)

    I'm working on a team with lots of people who are pretty unfamiliar with the concepts of version control systems, and are just kind of doing whatever seems to work, by trial and error. Someone created a "branch" from the trunk that is not ancestrally related to the trunk. My guess is it went something like this: They created a folder in branches. They checked out all the code from the trunk to somewhere on their desktop. They added all that code to the newly created folder as though it was a bunch of brand new files. So the repository isn't aware that all that code is actually just a copy of the trunk. When I look at the history of that branch in TortoiseSVN, and uncheck the "Stop on copy/rename" box, there is no revision that has the trunk (or any other path) under the "Copy from path" column. Then they made lots of changes on their "branch". Meanwhile, others were making lots of changes on the trunk. We tried to do a merge and of course it doesn't work. Because, the trunk and the fake branch are not ancestrally related. I can see only two ways to resolve this: Go through the logs on the "branch", look at every change that was made, and manually apply each change to the trunk. Go through the logs on the trunk, look at every change that was made between revision 540 (when the "branch" was created) and HEAD, and manually apply each change to the "branch". This involves 7 revisions one way or 11 revisions the other way, so neither one is really that terrible. But is there any way to cause the repository to "realize" that the branch really IS ancestrally related even though it was created incorrectly, so that we can take advantage of the built-in merging functionality in Eclipse/TortoiseSVN? (You may be wondering: Why did your company hire these people and allow them to access the SVN repository without making sure they knew how to use it properly first?! We didn't -- this is a school assignment, which is a collaboration between two different classes -- the ones in the lower class were given a very quick hand-wavey "overview" of SVN which didn't really teach them anything. I've asked everyone in the group to please PLEASE read the svn book, and I'll make sure we (the slightly more experienced half of the team) keep a close eye on the repository to ensure this doesn't happen again.)

    Hi, How to copy or duplicate gtk widgets? In my application I have one huge GtkComboBox created with one long for loop which eats up so much of time and I am using this combo at two places in one single screen. So, what I want to do is create this combo for one time and duplicate/copy it in another one so it will save my time. If I try to add same combo box pointer two times, gtk gives me error "child-paren != NULL" cause in gtk widget can have only single parent. So what to do? Thanks, PP.

    Hi, I have the input file contains large amount of transactions like Transaction ID Items T1 Bread, milk, coffee, juice T2 Juice, milk, coffee T3 Bread, juice T4 Coffee, milk T5 Bread, Milk T6 Coffee, Bread T7 Coffee, Bread, Juice T8 Bread, Milk, Juice T9 Milk, Bread, Coffee, T10 Bread T11 Milk T12 Milk, Coffee, Bread, Juice i want the occurrence of every unique item like Item Name Count Bread 9 Milk 8 Coffee 7 Juice 6 and from that i want an a fp-tree now by traversing this tree i want the maximal frequent itemsets as follows The basic idea of method is to dispose nodes in each “layer” from bottom to up. The concept of “layer” is different to the common concept of layer in a tree. Nodes in a “layer” mean the nodes correspond to the same item and be in a linked list from the “Head Table”. For nodes in a “layer” NBN method will be used to dispose the nodes from left to right along the linked list. To use NBN method, two extra fields will be added to each node in the ordered FP-Tree. The field tag of node N stores the information of whether N is maximal frequent itemset, and the field count’ stores the support count information in the nodes at left. In Figure, the first node to be disposed is “juice: 2”. If the min_sup is equal to or less than 2 then “bread, milk, coffee, juice” is a maximal frequent itemset. Firstly output juice:2 and set the field tag of “coffee:3” as “false” (the field tag of each node is “true” initially ). Next check whether the right four itemsets juice:1 be the subset of juice:2. If the itemset one node “juice:1” corresponding to is the subset of juice:2 set the field tag of the node “false”. In the following process when the field tag of the disposed node is FALSE we can omit the node after the same tagging. If the min_sup is more than 2 then check whether the right four juice:1 is the subset of juice:2. If the itemset one node “juice:1” corresponding to is the subset of juice:2 then set the field count’ of the node with the sum of the former count’ and 2 After all the nodes “juice” disposed ,begin to dispose the node “coffee:3”. I thought of using ftp task. Before that as a check I tried to ftp unix sever from windows but it gave connection refused error(Do I need to provide my username and password,if that is the case what is the syntax). But I am able to connect through putty which asks for my user name and password. Does putty uses a different protocol. So if that is the case does ftp task works for me in ANT?. If not what task I need to use?

  • Mercurial: pull changes from unversioned copy

    I am currently maintaining a Mercurial repository of the project I am working on. The rest of the team, however, doesn't. There is a "good" (unversioned) copy of the code base that I can access by SSH. What I would like to do is be able to do something like an hg pull from that good copy into my master repository whenever it gets updated. As far as I can tell, there's no obvious way to do this, as hg pull requires you have a source hg repository. I suppose I could use a utility like rsync to update my repository, then commit, but I was wondering: Is there was an easier/less contrived way to do this?

    In Microsoft Windows, this works: mnu := GetSystemMenu(h, false); EnableMenuItem(mnu, SC_CLOSE, MF_BYCOMMAND or MF_GRAYED); But this does not work: mnu := GetSystemMenu(h, false); EnableMenuItem(mnu, SC_MOVE, MF_BYCOMMAND or MF_GRAYED); Hence I know how to disable the "Close" system menu item of a window, but not the "Move" item. How do I do that? Update Of course one alternative to using the very nice function EnableMenuItem, is to use SetMenuItemInfo: FillChar(info, sizeOf(info), 0); with info do begin cbSize := sizeOf(info); fMask := MIIM_STATE; fState := MFS_GRAYED; end; SetMenuItemInfo(mnu, SC_MOVE, false, info); But this again works perfectly for SC_CLOSE, but not at all for SC_MOVE!

I managed to insert the selected item a second time at a other place, with the following code: var parentXML:XML = XML(containerTree.selectedItem).parent(); var upperItem:XML = topContainer.source[containerTree.selectedIndex-1]; parentXML.insertChildBefore(upperItem,XML(containerTree.selectedItem)); but then I have the item there twice in the List.   • WPF TreeViewItem deselected item still lightly highlighted

    Hello WPF fellows, I have multiple expander controls with a ViewTree control within each expander control. When I select a ViewTreeItem from one ViewTree and then select another ViewTreeItem from another ViewTree, the newly selected ViewTreeItem is highlighted in dark blue, but the last selected item is now highlighted in a very light shade of blue. Please look at www.zunjaa.com/public/images/screen.jpg to see what I'm talking about. How do I make it so that no longer active item does not show the lighter blue? Thanks.

  • Show a taskbar item with a NativeWindow

    My application is intended to work almost entirely through a Windows 7 taskbar item with the use of thumbnails and jump lists. I know I can easily create a Form and simply hide it, but this seems like overkill. Plus, I'd like to toy around with NativeWindow as much as possible, because I've never used it before. Essentially, I have a class called RootWindow that derives from NativeWindow. I don't need a visible window at all, but simply something to process window messages and provide a taskbar item that I can attach thumbnails and jump lists to. Is there some kind of special CreateParams option I need to pass to CreateHandle? Or am I out of luck?

    Hi all, I'm trying to use the StoreKit API in OS3.0 for the iphone to do in app purchase. However, I'm getting the following error when trying to purchase something in the SANDBOX ENVIRONMENT. The item you tried to buy is no longer available [Environment: Sandbox] Here's the code I use to do the payments: SKPayment* payment = [SKPayment paymentWithProductIdentifier:model.productId]; [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] addPayment:payment]; I've also queried storekit for the list of available products and that seems to work just fine returning the same product identifiers that I'm now using to purchase the item. I have all the products setup in iTunes Connect and created a test user. Before debugging the app I signed out of the store in the settings menu and entered my test account and password when debugging my own app. What could be going on here?

  • How to copy DispatcherObject (BitmapSource) into different thread?

    Hi, I am trying to figure out how can I copy DispatcherObject (in my case BitmapSource) into another thread. Use case: I have a WPF app that needs to show window in a new thread (the app is actually Outlook addin and we need to do this because Outlook has some hooks in the main UI thread and is stealing certain hotkeys that we need to use - 'lost in translation' in interop of Outlook, WPF (which we use for UI), and Winforms (we need to use certain microsoft-provided winforms controls)). With that, I have my implementation of WPFMessageBox, that is configured by setting some static properties - and and one of them is BitmapSource for icon. This is used so that in startup I can set WPFMessageBox.Icon once, and since then, every WPFMessageBox will have the same icon. The problem is that BitmapSource, which is assigned into icon, is a DispatcherObject, and when read, it will throw InvalidOperationException: "The calling thread cannot access this object because a different thread owns it.". How can I clone that BitmapSource into the actual thread? It has Clone() and CloneCurrentValue() methods, which don't work (they throw the same exception as well). It also occured to me to use originalIcon.Dispatcher.Invoke( do the cloning here ) - but the BitmapSource's Dispatcher is null, and still - I'd create a copy on a wrong thread and still couldnt use it on mine. BitmapSource.IsFrozen == true. Any idea on how to copy the BitmapSource into different thread (without completely reconstructing it from an image file in a new thread)?   • Flex 4.6 Mobile - Scrolling to the last added item in a dataGrid with variableRowHeight

    I'm trying to set the scroll vertical position of a spark dataGrid to show the items as I add them to the grid. I know you can set the scroll position like this: dataGrid.scroller.viewport.verticalScrollPosition = itemPosition*rowHeight; The problem is that the dataGrid have variableRowHeight, as each row word wraps their name labels, and I don't know how to get each row height. I though of getting the itemRenderer associated with every item as I add it to the grid, and keep the total row height value in a variable, but don't know how to achieve that. Is there any way to set the scroll position of a dataGrid with variableRowHeight to show the last added item?
