• Report Viewer problem after moving to new server

  I have just moved a site from a Windows 2003, IIS6 SQL 2005 server to a new one with Windows 2008, IIS7 and SQL 2008. I am having problems with the Report Viewer. I have installed the Report Viewer Re-distributable (I've tried 2005, 2005sp, 2008 and 2008sp) I've Mapped a handler in IIS for Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd to type Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler, Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a However whenever I run a report on the website I get the following error message: Could not load type 'Microsoft.Reporting.Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler' from assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer.WebForms, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.   Hi guys I'm developing a collaboration system and our team has been at it for the past couple of years. However the boss suggested that we try and redevelop it using something robust. Basically our collaboration system incorporates a webmail client and a custom built contacts management system plus project management system. My boss likes the robustness of GMAIL and Google docs and really would like a solution that if possible could incorporate these two and other google applications - I'm not so sure how to get started on developing a custom application using google applications - especially consider the fact that in the long run we wish to host our collaboration system as a paid service - just like the services that 37signals basecamp and highrise have been.

  I am trying to configure my message endpoint mapping in my NServiceBus configuration by sending messages from different namespaces to different endpoints. As such, I have configured the following in my web.config: However, when my application starts, I receive the following exception: Spring.Objects.PropertyAccessExceptionsException: PropertyAccessExceptionsException (1 errors); nested PropertyAccessExceptions are: [Spring.Core.TypeMismatchException: Cannot convert property value of type [System.Collections.Hashtable] to required type [System.Collections.IDictionary] for property 'MessageOwners'., Inner Exception: System.ArgumentException: Problem loading message assembly: Company.Messages.Payments --- System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Company.Messages.Payments' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. File name: 'Company.Messages.Payments' What I find interesting is that it seems to have found Company.Messages.Accounts but failed on the second configured line. I thought that maybe it didn't like have them all go to the same endpoint, but changing this configuration to have them go different endpoints didn't change the error message I received. What am I doing wrong? Is it not possible to segment messages by namespace (all I have seen is by type and by assembly)? Thanks, Steve

  Hi I'm developing a new site, and in here it's possible for the user to type in a price in a input-textfield. So what I need is some jQuery-code to transforn the typed in price. This means, that when a user types in "1000", the vissible text in the input field shall automatically be transformed to "1.000" - with a period. And if they type in "10000" it should be transformed to "10.000" etc. You can see a live example on this website I found: http://www.boligsiden.dk/ I know it's on danish, but on the frontpage under the map, there are to input fields. One of them is saying "Minimum kontaktpris". You can try to type in a number in here, and see the effect that I'm looking for. Does anybody know how I can achieve this?   I'm currently testing a new version of an app of mine on OSX 10.5 An user reported some weird crashes during use of the application, sadly not reproducible by me. At first sight it seems to happen randomly, once he had the crash while opening an NSOpenPanel and once during focusing an NSTextField and once during NSView switch in a parent view. If you have any idea which area I should look at it would be greatly appreciated! I'm completely lost here.   Hey there everyone, I'm getting a stack overflow error when I try to call a partial view from the master.   Hi there, I am using ubuntu 9.10, and I would like to associate thunderbird to all the files with the extension .eml. The problem is that is seems that ubuntu is attributing the mime type text/plain to these files, based on their content, which meens that if I set thunderbird as the default application for .eml files, all the other text files (.txt for instance) will be opened with thunderbird. Is it possible to add a rule to impose a mime type based on the file extension, regardless of its content?

  Hi, I am using a custom webview to show a tabbar when user touches on the webview. But when I clicked on a link in a webview, tabbar is shown for a little time and then page loads. I am using this custom webview to detect touch: http://github.com/psychs/iphone-samples/blob/b772b963f2acf18d478b41b44555992fcd8d4f31/WebViewTappingHack/Classes/PSWebView.m Can I detect if a link clicked or not? Because a link stands on the webview, webview detects the touch and also it loads the page... I want to prevent it. Thanks in advance.

There are 3 types, first, Contact, which I defined as abstract in my EF model and the rest are Company and person types which are derived from contact type. Is it possible to perform an insert using ado.net dataservice and asp.net ajax library? I was trying the following client code : dataContext.insertEntity(person, "Contacts"); I was getting this response from server : Error processing request stream. Type information must be specified for types that take part in inheritance. Thanks.

• Sharepoint and Cross-Site Lookup

  Hi all I have this scenario I want to build two sharepoint 2007 sites. One for customers info and the other for products and customers orders. Now the problem is that in the second site I need to reference the customers info from the first site but unfortunately sharepoint doesnot provide out of the box cross-site lookup. I did some search and found custom cross-site fields and used one but when I upgraded the site to sharepoint 2010 this custom field was not compatible and the upgrade wizard said it could not be upgraded. so what is the solution for this ? is it to merge the two sites so that I can use the standard lookup feature or is there any workaround for this ? please if any body has faced such a scenario, share the solution with me ? thanks

  I'm having a problem with FlashBuilder in what is clearly a compiler bug, but I can't track it down. When my project is compiled inside FlashBuilder, I'm getting the following compiler errors: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: [mx.binding]::IBindingClient Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: [mx.binding]::IWatcherSetup2 Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: [mx.core]::IStateClient2 These errors are reported without a path or location. My project is a flex4 project, moderately complex. It has 6 swc projects, which are referenced within a swf project. (The swf project is the one that's reporting the error). The ANT build script compiles the project fine. The problem exists on more than 1 PC. How do I start tracking down what's causing the problem?

  Hi, I'm new to objective-c and I saw the "new type" BOOL (YES, NO). I read that this type is almost like a char. For testing I did : NSLog(@"Size of BOOL %d", sizeof(BOOL)); NSLog(@"Size of bool %d", sizeof(bool)); Good to see both display 1 (sometimes in C++ bool just an int and sizeof is 4) So I was just wondering I there were some issues with the bool type or something ? Can I just use bool (that seems to work) without loosing speed? Thanks for answers

  Hi everybody I create this button like this: _myButton = [[UIButton buttonWithType:UIButtonTypeCustom] retain]; DLBadgeLayerDelegate *layerDelegate = [[DLBadgeLayerDelegate alloc] init]; _myButton.frame = CGRectMake(0.0 , 0.0, 100.0, 100.0); [_myButton addTarget:self action:@selector(myButtonTapped:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside]; _myButton.layer.backgroundColor = [[UIColor redColor] CGColor]; _myButton.center = CGPointMake(10.0, 10.0); [self addSubview:_myButton]; [_myButton release]; The button appears on the screen but if I tap on it nothing happens. If I just create a Rounded rect button instead with no custom drawing on its layer or if I just leave the layer line of code out all works well. Do you have any Idea why do I get this behaviour as I would like to do some custom drawing in the button's layer?

• Interface Builder: Resize View From NIB

  I have a custom UIViewController and a corresponding view in a nib file. The view is added to the UIWindow directly. [window addSubview:customViewController.view]; Sizes of the window and the view are default (480x320 and 460x320 correspondingly). When I create CustomViewController inside the nib file and check "Resize View From NIB" in IB Attributes tab everything works just fine. But when I create CustomViewController programmmatically with initWithNibName message the view is not positioned on the window correctly. There is an empty stripe at the bottom. Its height is 20px. I see it's because of status bar offset. IB handles that with "Resize View From NIB". How to emulate that programmatically? It seems that IB uses some custom subclass of UIViewController. So the question: how is "Resize View From NIB" implemented there?

• How does one paint the entire row's background in a QStyledItemDelegate ?

  I have a QTableView which I am setting a custom QStyledItemDelegate on. In addition to the custom item painting, I want to style the row's background color for the selection/hovered states. It is hard to describe so here is a screenshot: In that picture the mouse was over the left most cell, hence the highlighted background.. but I want the background to be drawn over the entire row. How can I achieve this? Edit: With some more thought I've realized that the QStyle::State_MouseOver state is only being passed for actual cell which the mouse is over, and when the paint method is called for the other cells in the row QStyle::State_MouseOver is not set. So the question becomes is there a QStyle::State_MouseOver_Row state (answer: no), so how do I go about achieving that?

• Python bindings for C++ code using OpenCV giving segmentation fault

  I'm trying to write a python wrapper for some C++ code that make use of OpenCV but I'm having difficulties returning the result, which is a OpenCV C++ Mat object, to the python interpreter. I've looked at OpenCV's source and found the file cv2.cpp which has conversions functions to perform conversions to and fro between PyObject* and OpenCV's Mat. I made use of those conversions functions but got a segmentation fault when I tried to use them. I basically need some suggestions/sample code/online references on how to interface python and C++ code that make use of OpenCV, specifically with the ability to return OpenCV's C++ Mat to the python interpreter or perhaps suggestions on how/where to start investigating the cause of the segmentation fault.
