  Using SQL server 2000. If the Start date is 06/23/2008 and End date is 06/30/2008 Then I need the Output of query as 06/23/2008 06/24/2008 06/25/2008 . . . 06/30/2008 I Created a Table names as Integer which has 1 Column, column values are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 then I used the below mentioned query Tried Query SELECT DATEADD(d, H.i * 100 + T .i * 10 + U.i, '" & dtpfrom.Value & "') AS Dates FROM integers H CROSS JOIN integers T CROSS JOIN integers U order by dates The above query is displaying 999 Dates only. 999 Dates means (365 + 365 + 269) Dates Only. Suppose I want to select more than 3 Years (01/01/2003 to 01/01/2008). The above query should not suitable. How to modify my query? Or any other query is available for the above condition.   I'm looking for a simple and efficient way to store UTF-8 strings in ASCII-7. With efficient I mean the following: all ASCII chars in the input should stay ASCII chars in the output the resulting string should be as short as possible the operation needs to be reversable without any data loss there should be no restriction on the input length the whole UTF-8 range should be allowed My first idea was to use Punycode (IDNA) as it fits the first three requirements, but it fails at the last two. Can anyone recommend an alternative encoding scheme? Even better if there's some code available to look at.

• Best practices retrieving XML/stream from HTTP in Android

  Hello everyone, what are the best practices parsing XML from an HTTP resource in Android? I've been using HttpURLConnection to retrieve an InputStream, wrapping it with a BufferedInputStream, and then using SAX to parse the buffered stream. For the most part it works, though I do receive error reports of SocketTimeoutException: The operation timed out or general parsing error. I believe it's due to the InputStream. Would using HttpClient instead of HttpURLConnection help? If yes, why? Should the stream be output to a file, having the file parsed instead of the stream? Any input or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

• How to catch printf from a dll?

  I've got a C++ console application that uses a third-party dll (jvm.dll, indirectly) that uses printf to print various error messages (Java stacktrace). I need to catch these stacktraces to a string in order to process them further, or at least to see them printed on the console. The thing is that I see the stacktrace only when debugging my application in VisualStudio (VS 2010). When I run my application in the "normal way", i.e. from the command line, nothing is printed on the console. So VS is able to somehow interfere the java output and display it. I need to be able to do the same thing. I've already tried freopen(), but without success. Also, I've found this question on the same problem, but without a clear answer.

• Slider Not Behaving As I Would Expect

  I have a slider that changes a float from 1 to 10 but I want to save this value and use it across all view controllers so I have saved that float as an NSNumber in a model class (settingsData.sensitivitySliderSettingValue). I am trying to output the updated slider value to the console every time that it is changed however it just gets set to 0 rather than 0 to 10. I don't understand why this is...   Hi all, I have used wmd-editor in my cakephp v1.3 application.   Hi All, Wanting to see the output of the compiler (in assembly) for some C code, I wrote a simple program in C and generated its assembly file using gcc. • Is it possible to share a masterpage between MVC and webforms?

  I am adding MVC to a project that has MANY legacy webform pages. This works fine. However, I currently have a separate masterpage for MVC and for the webforms. The two master pages produce essentially identical output. I'd really like to kill the webforms one and just use the MVC master page with all my pages and stay DRY. Not being DRY has already bitten me a couple times when I forgot to change both. I tried doing the obvious way and just pointing the webform content page's MasterPage attribute at the MVC masterpage. This throws an error saying the MVC masters only work with MVC views. This seems like it would be a pretty common problem with mixed MVC and webform projects. My MVC master isn't doing anything with ViewData, so I don't see any reason the webforms couldn't use them.

  I'm trying to wrap my head around shaders in GLSL, and I've found some useful resources and tutorials, but I keep running into a wall for something that ought to be fundamental and trivial: how does my fragment shader retrieve the color of the current fragment? You set the final color by saying gl_FragColor = whatever, but apparently that's an output-only value. How do you get the original color of the input so you can perform calculations on it? That's got to be in a variable somewhere, but if anyone out there knows its name, they don't seem to have recorded it in any tutorial or documentation that I've run across so far, and it's driving me up the wall.

  Hi All, I want to enable Access for assistive devices in System Preferences programmatically. But Problem is that my application is not running as root user and i do not want my application to be as root user and also should not ask for any authentication in between. I want to tap all keyboard events globally. I am using CGEventTapCreate() for the same.In the documentation of CGEventTapCreate() API it is mentioned that, Event taps receive key up and key down events if one of the following conditions is true: The current process is running as the root user. Access for assistive devices is enabled. In Mac OS X v10.4 & later, you can enable this feature using System Preferences, Universal Access panel, Keyboard view. I tried manually by checking the Enable Access for assistive devices from System Preference and it gives me expected output. So is there any way to do the same via program without asking for authentication and also application is not running as root user? Thanks, Dheeraj.

The database schema relates the tables like this: Company - CompanyEmployeeXref - Employee - EmployeeAddressXref - Email I am using Entity Framework and I want to create a LINQ query that returns the name of the company and a comma-separated list of it's employee's email addresses. • XSLT: How do I trigger a template when there is no input file?

  I'm creating a template which produces output based on a single string, passed via parameter, and does not use an input XML document. xsltproc seems to happily run with a single parameter specifying the stylesheet, but I don't see a way to trigger a template without an input file (no parameter to xsltproc to run a named template, for example). I'd like to be able to run: xsltproc --stringparam bar baz foo.xsl But I'm currently having to run, with the "main" template matching "/": echo '<xml/>' | xsltproc --stringparam bar baz foo.xsl - How can I get this to work? I'm sure I've seen other templates in the past which were meant to be run without an input document, but I don't remember how they worked or where to find them again. :-)

• Client-side framework for web-app with good audio support

  I'm trying to create a client-side web app that generates music procedurally using some user-input parameters, so I'm looking for a framework (e.g. Flash, Silverlight etc.) that has the capability to play audio at a specified pitch. Whether it is playing a WAV/MP3 file, using MIDI output, or just playing beeps doesn't really matter -- I just need something that will enable me to generate arbitrary music client-side. I've done a bit of searching and it appears that Flash might have the ability to change pitch with the help of a third-part plugin, but I couldn't find anything similar for Silverlight. I can go a try all them out manually if need be, but I thought I'd ask here first just in case anyone had tried something like this before. Thanks in advance

• Completion block not being called. How to check validity?

  I have this method which takes a block, but that block isn't always called. Sometimes this program counter just blows right past the call to completion() in the code above. I don't see why this would be as the calling code always passes a literal block of code as input. If you're curious of the output of the line containing the addressof operator, it's always something different, but never 0 or nil. What would cause completion not to be executed?

• ASP.net - Crystal Reports exporting to PDF adds the letter "i" to certain words randomly

  We are using Crystal Reports to generate pdf's of customer bills (from a CR template). It works fine except the engine seems to be adding the letter "i" to random words in the output. Certain alignment problems are also evident (words overlapping etc). Standard fonts are being used. We are using .net 4 and C# linked to the 10.5 CR assemblies. Latest version of Adobe Acrobat reader is installed on the server. We have now tried this via 12.2 CR assemblies with the same results. We have also tried multiple .rpt files with the same results.

  Maybe I'm stupid...and this is my first question so forgive me...but when I run this code, I get the following output: (FROG idle:0 animating:0 rect:(null) position:{{1,2}{3,4}} tongue:{5,6}) This is wrong because it seems to be skipping the rect format string and placing everything displaced by one. So idle and animating are what i expect, then rect is skipped, but the result from NSStringFromCGRect(self.rect) is placed into position, then the result for position is pushed to tongue, then tongue is not displayed at all. • C#, WindowsForms difference to simple Console App

  Hi there, I currently started to "port" my console projects to WinForms, but it seems I am badly failing doing that. I am simply used to a console structure: I got my classes interacting with each other depending on the input coming from the console. A simple flow: Input -> ProcessInput -> Execute -> Output -> wait for input Now I got this big Form1.cs (etc.) and the "Application.Run(Form1);" But I really got no clue how my classes can interact with the form and create a flow like I described above. I mean, I just have these "...._Click(object sender....)" for each "item" inside the form. Now I do not know where to place / start my flow / loop, and how my classes can interact with the form. thanks and regards daemonfire

• Rack::ResponseHeaders in rackup for Sinatra

  I think this is a very easy one, but I can't seem to get it right. Basically, I'm trying to use Rack middleware to set a default Cache-Control header into all responses served by my Sinatra app. It looks like Rack::ResponseHeaders should be able to do exactly what I need, but I get an error when attempting to use the syntax demonstrated here in my rackup file: use Rack::ResponseHeaders do |headers| headers['X-Foo'] = 'bar' headers.delete('X-Baz') end I was able to get Rack::Cache to work successfully as follows: use Rack::Cache, :default_ttl => 3600 However, this doesn't achieve exactly the output I want, whereas Rack::ResponseHeaders gives fine-grained control of the headers. FYI, my site is hosted on Heroku, and the required Rack gems are specified in my .gems manifest. Thanks! Update: After doing some research, it looks like the first issue is that Rack::ResponseHeaders is not found in the version of rack-contrib (0.9.2) which was installed. I'll start by looking into that.
