I'm working on Peano Axioms in Agda and I've hit a bit of a sticking point

PA6 : ?{m n} -> m = n -> n = m is the axiom I am trying to solve and support, I've tried using a cong (from the core library) but am having troubles with the cong constructor PA6 = cong gets me nowhere, I know for cong I am required to supply a refl for equality and a type, but I'm, not sure what type I'm supposed to supply. Ideas? This is for a small assignment at University, so I'd rather someone demonstrate what I've missed rather than write the acutual answer, but I'd appreciate any degree of support.

Rails + AMcharts (with export image php script) - PHP script converted to controller?

user generated / user specific functions

I'm looking for the most elegant and secure method to do the following. I have a calendar, and groups of users. Users can add events to specific days on the calendar, and specify how long each event lasts for. I've had a few requests from users to add the ability for them to define that events of a specific length include a break, of a certain amount of time, or require that a specific amount of time be left between events. For example, if event is 2 hours, include a 20min break. for each event, require 30 minutes before start of next event. The same group that has asked for an event of 2 hours to include a 20 min break, could also require that an event 3 hours include a 30 minute break. In the end, what the users are trying to get is an elapsed time excluding breaks calculated for them. Currently I provide them a total elapsed time, but they are looking for a running time. However, each of these requests is different for each group. Where one group may want a 30 minute break during a 2 hour event, and another may want only 10 minutes for each 3 hour event. I was kinda thinking I could write the functions into a php file per group, and then include that file and do the calculations via php and then return a calculated total to the user, but something about that doesn't sit right with me. Another option is to output the groups functions to javascript, and have it run client-side, as I'm already returning the duration of the event, but where the user is part of more than one group with different rules, this seems like it could get rather messy. I currently store the start and end time in the database, but no 'durations', and I don't think I should be storing the calculated totals in the db, because if a group decides to change their calculations, I'd need to change it throughout the db. Is there a better way of doing this? I would just store the variables in mysql, but I don't see how I can then say to mysql to calculate based on those variables. I'm REALLY lost here. Any suggestions? I'm hoping somebody has done something similar and can provide some insight into the best direction. Selecting arbitrary strings with Zend DB Select?

I am using the fluent interface to create a Zend DB Select object/query. As part of the query, I would like to select an arbitrary string, like "SELECT 'foo' AS 'type' FROM ...". foo is not a column, it's just a string literal. When I select an arbitrary number, the query works as expected. When I change it to a string, Zend tries to treat foo as a column, and throws an error: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'l.foo' in 'field list' I have tried wrapping the string in Zend_Db_Expr in various ways such as: $select->columns(array('type' => new Zend_Db_Expr('foo'))); That stops Zend from adding the correlation name, but it still treats it as a column: SQLSTATE[42S22]: Column not found: 1054 Unknown column 'foo' in 'field list' I feel like I must be missing something obvious here. How do I tell Zend to stop treating this as a column?

However, that does NOT match the "key" in this part of the log: matching_key="(?-xism:^\\.(exe|lha|tnef|cab|dll)$)" Furthermore, the .gif extension is nowhere to be found in the /etc/amavisd.conf file (i.e. I'm not blocking emails because they contain .gif images). Am I missing something here? This is strange... and annoying.

hi all. i'm writing a component that is to be used across multiple websites. each website has it's own stylesheets and displays certain things differently. all of my html is wrapped within a div with an id: <div id="myComponent">...</div> my component however is to look consistent across all of the sites. this is fine as i apply styling to most of the attributes in my component. div#myComponent p {font-size:11px;} etc however i've come across a site that removes the border from all input fields input {border: medium none;} i need to 'un-apply' this directive for the input fields within my component, and preferrably use the browser's default styling for inputs, as the border style for input type="text" will need be different to input type="button". how would you achieve this?

I've written a simple Employee class that I'm trying to serialize to an XDocument and then use XSLT to transform the document to a page that displays both the properties (Name and ID) from the Employee class, and an html form with 2 radio buttons (Approve and Reject) and a submit button. Does anyone know what needs to be done so that my transform will select and display both the Employee properties and the html form?

iGoogle Stack Overflow Gadget [closed]

Is there a default buffer length for 'sprintf' method?

Hi, I used sprintf method to format data to a string which I want to write to a file, in C++ console application using VS 2008. The Input is a particular message, which has various variables and values (ex: Type 'int' and Value '10' / Type string and value "abc", etc.) When I send a two messages it works perfectly. But When I send more than two messages it gives a runtime error saying 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0xabababab. Why is this happening? Is it because the method 'sprintf' has a default buffer length? How can I overcome this problem?

If I've got 2 tables that are joined in a 3rd table with a many-to-many relationship, is it possible to write an ICriteria with expressions in one of the tables and the join table? Lets say the mapping file looks something like: <bag name ="Bag" table="JoinTable" cascade ="none"> <key column="Data_ID"/> <many-to-many class="Data2" column="Data2_ID"/> </bag> Is it then possible to write an ICriteria like the following? ICriteria crit = session.CreateCriteria(typeof(Data)); crit.Add(Expression.Eq("Name", name)); crit.Add(Expression.Between("Date", startDate, endDate)); crit.Add(Expression.Eq("Bag", data2IDNumber)); When I try this, it tells me I the expected type is IList, whereas the actual type is Bag. Combobox in bound DataGridView

Hi. I've got a DataGridView control which is bound to a database table. I want one of the columns in the gridview to be of combobox type. The combobox should contain a list of hardcoded strings, which is the same for all rows in the datagridview. One of the fields in my database table is an index for this list of hardcoded strings. I've programatically added a new column to the gridview of type "DataGridViewComboBoxColumn", which successfully creates the column with comboboxes in it. However, that's then not bound to the index field in my DB table. The index field in my DB table is actually automatically bound to a column via the DataAdapter::Fill method. I've set this column to hidden, so it's hidden to the user. Obviously just before updating the dataadapter, I can programatically fixup the hidden column in my datatable with the SelectedIndex of my combobox. Just wondering if there's a better way of doing this? Thankyou for any help with this, Dan.

Why does "enable-shared failed" happen on libjpeg build for os X?

I'm trying to install libjpeg on os X to fix a problem with the Python Imaging Library JPEG setup. I downloaded libjpeg from http://www.ijg.org/files/jpegsrc.v7.tar.gz I then began to setup the config file cp /usr/share/libtool/config.sub . cp /usr/share/libtool/config.guess . ./configure –enable-shared However, the enable-shared flag didn't seem to work. $ ./configure –-enable-shared configure: WARNING: you should use --build, --host, --target configure: WARNING: invalid host type: –-enable-shared checking build system type... Invalid configuration `–-enable-shared': machine `–-enable' not recognized configure: error: /bin/sh ./config.sub –-enable-shared failed I've done lot's of google searches and I can't figure out where the error is or how to work around this error.

I'm trying to use StructureMap with nServiceBus. The Project: Uses a GenericHost Endpoint to send command messages Configures nServiceBus using the StructMapBuilder. Uses a simple StructureMap registry config Uses a start up class TestServer supporting IWantToRunAtStartup The TestServer class has ctor dependency on a TestManager class The TestManager class has ctor dependency on IBus ObjectFactory.WhatDoIHave() shows StructureMap knows how to construct the classes. When run I get buildup errors. nServiceBus seems to be overwriting the config? Note that when I add a IBus ctor depenendency to my event handlers without any other config all appears fine. Error: Exception when starting endpoint, error has been logged. Unable to display data in a WPF datagrid that has a DataView instance as the items source

I am using a DataGrid object from the WPF toolkit. I am binding the DataGrid object to the default view of a DataTable instance as declared in the following code: WeatherGrid.ItemsSource = weatherDataTable.DefaultView; weatherDataTable has three columns. The first column is defined to contain a string data type. The other two columns are defined to contain double data types. When the application exits the function that calls the binding as expressed in the declaration, The DataGrid object displays data for the first column, but not the other columns. When I type the following in the immediate window in the debugger: ((DataRowView)WeatherGrid.Items[0]).Row[1] I get a number, but this doesn't correspond with what is being displayed. Why is only the first column visible, and how can I get all of the data to be visible? treeview binding wpf cannot bind nested property in a class

Hi all New to wpf and therefore struggling a bit. I am putting together a quick demo before we go for the full implementation I have a treeview on the left with Continent Country City structure when a user select the city it should populate some textboxes in a tabcontrol on the right hand side I made it sort of work but cannot make it work with composite objects. In a nutshell can you spot what is wrong with my zaml or code. Why is not binding to a my CityDetails.ClubsCount or CityDetails.PubsCount? C# .NET MVC Call an action from another controller

I have two different objects: contracts, and task orders. My requirements specify that in order to view the Details for either object, the Url should be "http://.../Contract/Details" or "http://.../TaskOrder/Details" depending on which type. They are both very similar and the details pages are almost identical, so I made a class that can either be a contract or a task order, and has a variable "objectTypeID" that says which type it is. I wrote the action "Details" in the task order controller, but now I want to call that from the contract controller instead of recopying the code. So is there any way to have the url still say ".../Contract/Details" but call the action in the TaskOrder controller instead? I tried using TaskOrderController TOController = new TaskOrderController(); TOController.Details(id); This would have worked except that I can't use the HttpContext.Session anymore, which I used several times in the action.
