  Hi! I have been reading SO for some time now, but I truly cannot find any help for my problem. I have a c++ assignment to create an IAS simulator. Here is some sample code... 0 1 a 1 2 b 2 c 3 1 10 begin 11 . load a, subtract b and offset by -1 for jump+ 11 load M(0) 12 sub M(1) 13 sub M(3) 14 halt Using c++, I need to be able to read these lines and store them in a "memory register" class that I already have constructed... For example, the first line would need to store "1 a" in register zero. How can I parse out the number at the line beginning and then store the rest as a string? I have setup storage using a class that is called using mem.set(int, string);. int is the memory location at the beginning of the line and string is the stored instruction.

• embed multiple youtube videos to chromeless player cue

  So in the project ive been working on i use the youtube API to add a video to a chromeless player (got custom buttons, everything works no problems). It loads the youtube id which it gets from the database (Codeigniter, PHP). But what i would like to see is: instead of loading 1 video, id like to add all the videos i get from the database in the cue of that one player. So only one screen, first video retrieved from dbase gets played first, when its done second get loaded preferably also looped. Is there any way i can achieve this? My first guess would be to save the array with youtube id's somewhere and on state change (when the 'video stop'-event gets fired) load the next id from the array. Havent tried this yet because id prefer if the cue gets just gets filled on the init, so it doesnt have to load after a video has been ended. Is This possible?

• several jquery ui theme switcher problems (cookie, different themes for different pages, etc.)

  I just try putting the jquery-ui theme switcher on my website. Seems that there are some problems: Cookie does not work. When I close the browser and reopen the webpage, the default theme will load instead of the one selected before. The selected theme is valid for current page only. If jumping to another page, it will load the default. I want to select once and apply to all pages. There is a flash of the default theme before the selected theme get loaded. Anyone know an easy way deal with these problems? I know I can implement my own cookie solution based on that theme switcher, but I was so surprised that the author did not provide options to do these.

  I have this form on which I would like to create a dynamic number of dropdowns. I have a list of categorized applications which I would like each to have its own dropdown that submits data for each dropdown. The dropdown options will be the same for each. Here is my code. I am not sure how to pass the unique data to the server. • Jython: Is there any difference between adding to sys.path vs passing -D?

  I have a python application that is trying to load some Java libraries (specifically Axis2 web services). When I add the necessary jars in Eclipse via PyDev Project Source Folders, everything seems to work fine. However, I want to be able to do this at run time by adding to sys.path, but then my application doesn't seem to work. In both cases I can load the jars just fine, but something must be different for there to be different results. My question is, is there a difference between adding jars via the sys.path at run time with sys.path.append() versus passing -D to the jython interpreter?

  I've got such query: $sql = "UPDATE test_accs SET acc_owner = '$owner_id', acc_policy_version = '$version', acc_policy_last_update = '$approved', acc_policy_next_update = '$renewed' WHERE acc_id = '1'"; Now, all of these values on the web folmular are optional, one can set one of these values, two, or so. Now, after I submit the form, it goes in the query like that: UPDATE test_accs SET acc_owner = '2', acc_policy_version = '1.2', acc_policy_last_update = '2012-12-19', acc_policy_next_update = '2012-12-18' WHERE acc_id = '1' It works only when I submit all values from the form. Can you please show me how could it work even if not all the values has been sent, just for example one of them? When I set one value (f.ex. policy version), it looks like that: UPDATE test_accs SET acc_owner = '', acc_policy_version = '1.2', acc_policy_last_update = '', acc_policy_next_update = '' WHERE acc_id = '1' and it isn't working. In second I need to load pieces of tiled image and then show them in the correct order, forming tiled image. I've used swing only few times to draw some 2d polylines, so basically I just theoretically now what to do. Ok, so window number 1: I start with creating Jframe for the window. Then I do for loop and in it create 16 JLabels with random numbers in them ? How to set margins between each tile and the whole window ? Window number 2 : So I start the same, but instead of loading numbers I add images ? Now, how can I load image from file and then set it as background ?

  I am validating input on a form and attempting to prompt the user of improper input(s) based on the combination of controls used. For example, I have 2 combo boxes and 3 text boxes. The 2 combo boxes must always have a value other than the first (default) value, but one of three, or two of three, or all text boxes can be filled to make the form valid. In one such scenario I have a 6 line if statement to try to make the test easily readable: if ((!String.Equals(ComboBoxA.SelectedValue.ToString(), DEFAULT_COMBO_A_CHOICE.ToString()) && !String.IsNullOrEmpty(TextBoxA.Text) && !String.Equals(ComboBoxB.SelectedValue.ToString(), DEFAULT_COMBO_B_CHOICE.ToString())) || (!String.IsNullOrEmpty(TextBoxB.Text) || !String.IsNullOrEmpty(TextBoxC.Text))) { //Do Some Validation } I have 2 questions: Should this type of if statement be avoided at all cost?   I've had some success using a different method to load cookies, but now I'm wanting to use the cookielib.MozillaCookieJar method to open a cookies.txt file. Here's the snippet of code that does this. cookieJar=MozillaCookieJar() cookieJar.load(argv[2]) After creating an HTTPCookieProcessor opener, and installing it, whenever I use urlopen, I get an HTTP 400 error. However, if I don't use a CookieJar, the urlopen method succeeds (though the response doesn't contain the data I need). I'm not sure whether the cookies.txt file is malformed, or whether there's something else going on.

  I have Server A (www.example.com) sending information to Server B. I can only have HTML / JS on Server A (and have to do the "crunching" on Server B) so I'm trying to send form data via AJAX (trying to avoid a form post to Server B - don't ask). Obviously doing an AJAX call cross-domain is considered XSS and a big no-no, but if I were to put Server B in a subdomain (sub.example.com), would that be considered okay? How are cross-domain errors detected? Does the browser look up DNS records? IP address? Thanks in advance for you help.

• Working with Foreign languages

  My DB needs to hold strings containing foreign language characters such that; User enters string into form, form submitted and string added to DB, string will be displayed on page for viewing. I would like to use UTF8 as this will be able to handle all of the required languages. Currently I believe my DB is set to 'latin1' but webpages are capable of displaying correct charachters anyways. Problems arise when trying to set textareas to hold foreign charachters and when viewing DB via command-line. How can I implement this most effectively? My plan was to blitz the whole site such that:DB Charset is UTF8 and web pages charset is UTF8. Could someone give me the minimal commands on how to do this so I don't end up duplicating things (Having "UTF8" commands everywhere when I really just need one) and making things too difficult to control. • how to catch the event when the particular application process is being suspended using task manager?

  I am developing a simple application where in we have predefined quotas on usage for each user on the system.. and if the quota is up..the system should logoff of the user account.. this will happen if the application is allowed to run.. but if the user is closing the application on his own ..the app should automaticaly logoff the account.. i did exactly that in writing forced logoff code in form-closing event.. but if we are closing the app/process using the taskmanager.. the form closing event is not being called. and so the user is able to continue even if his quota of time is up.. can anybody helpme out with this..
