  Hi guy, I need to integrate struts with spring for a project. I read the doc to ingrate struts and it's ok for classic beans but I have a problem for my forms. I have a form like this in my struts-config.xml: <form-beans> <form-bean name="creationForm" type="org.apache.struts.validator.DynaValidatorActionForm" > <form-property name="libelle" type="java.lang.String" /> <form-property name="quantite" type="java.lang.String" /> <form-property name="prix" type="java.lang.String" initial="10" /> </form-bean> But it's strange for me to have a "type" in struts-config because it's spring which manages beans. I don't found anything in the doc to manage forms by spring and the attribute "type" is mandatory for form in struts-config. Someone can help me please ?

• SWT Filedialog Open into home folder

  I want to open a FileDialog window into the user home folder (i.e. /home/user or /Users/unsername) I read the user home folder, using System.getProperty: String homefolder = System.getProperty(user.home); And the variable containts the correct home folder. But when i set the filterpath in FileDialog, it opens (in linux) only the /home level not entering into the user home dir. • SQLAlchemy automatically converts str to unicode on commit

  Hello, When inserting an object into a database with SQLAlchemy, all it's properties that correspond to String() columns are automatically transformed from <type 'str'> to <type 'unicode'>. Is there a way to prevent this behavior?   Hi guys, I just wanted to know what happens behind my program when I declare and initialize a variable and later initialize it again with other values, e.g. an ArrayList or something similar. What happens in my RAM, when I say e.g. this: ArrayList<String> al = new ArrayList<String>(); ...add values, work with it and so on.... al = new ArrayList<String>(); So is my first ArrayList held in RAM or will the second ArrayList be stored on the same position where the first one has been before? Or will it just change the reference of "al"? If it is not replaced...is there a way to manually free the RAM which was occupied by the first arraylist?   Question as title. More specifically, I'm rather tired of having to type \(, etc. every time I want a parenthesis in Emacs's (interactive) regexp functions (not to mention the \\( in code). So I wrote something like (defadvice query-replace-regexp (before my-query-replace-regexp activate) (ad-set-arg 0 (replace-regexp-in-string "(" "\\\\(" (ad-get-arg 0))) (ad-set-arg 0 (replace-regexp-in-string ")" "\\\\)" (ad-get-arg 0))))) in hope that I can conveniently forget about emacs's idiosyncrasy in regexp during "interaction mode". Except I cannot get the regexp right... (replace-regexp-in-string "(" "\\\\(" "(abc") gives \\(abc instead of the wanted \(abc. Other variations on the number of slashes just gives errors. Thoughts? Since I started questioning, might as well ask another one: since lisp code is not supposed to use interactive functions, advicing query-replace-regexp should be okay, am I correct?

There are around 200 NSDictionary objects and only 5 or so string ID.   Hi. I am trying to use JSON.stringify() (from json2.js of json[dot]org ) to convert a JavaScript array to JSON string and to pass it to an asmx web method. I use jQuery AJAX. The call reaches the web method where I take a List <Object> as parameter but I get an empty list there in debug mode. My JSON string looks like well formed with all data , I even tried having single-quotes and double-quotes(escaped) around the 'names' of the JSON string. Please help.

I also understand that to, subject and body are method calls.   I have an iPhone iOS4.1 application that uses localized strings. I have just started building unit tests using the SenTestingKit. I have been able to successfully test many different types of values. I am unable to correctly test any of my code that uses NSLocalizedString calls, because when the code runs in my LogicTests target, all of my NSLocalizedString calls only return the string key. I have added my Localizable.strings file to the LogicTests target. My question is: How must I configure my LogicTests target so that calls to NSLocalizedString will return the localized string and not the string key.

  According the the Perl documentation on regexes: By default, the "^" character is guaranteed to match only the beginning of the string ... Embedded newlines will not be matched by "^" ... You may, however, wish to treat a string as a multi-line buffer, such that the "^" will match after any newline within the string ... you can do this by using the /m modifier on the pattern match operator. The "after any newline" part means that it will only match at the beginning of the 2nd and subsequent lines. What if I want to match at the beginning of any line (1st, 2nd, etc.)? EDIT: OK, it seems that the file has BOM information (3 chars) at the beginning and that's what's messing me up. Any way to get ^ to match anyway? EDIT: So in the end it works (as long as there's no BOM), but now it seems that the Perl documentation is wrong, since it says "after any newline"

  Scenario: I am parsing values from an XML file using C# and have the following method: private static string GetXMLNodeValue(XmlNode basenode, string strNodePath) { if (basenode.SelectSingleNode(strNodePath) != null) return (basenode.SelectSingleNode(strNodePath).InnerText); else return String.Empty; } To get a particular value from the XML file, I generally pass the root node and a path like "parentnode/item" I recently ran into an issue where two nodes at the same document level share the same name. Question: What is the best way to get the values for duplicate-named nodes distinctly? My thought was to load all values matching the node name into an array and then using the array index to refer to them. I'm not sure how to implement that, though. (I'm not well-versed in XML navigation.)

• ASP.NET MVC: Posting JSON to Controller

  I've got this in my controller: [HttpPost] public void UpdateLanguagePreference(string languageTag) { if (string.IsNullOrEmpty(languageTag)) { throw new ArgumentNullException("languageTag"); } ... } And have this jQuery code POSTing to the controller: jQuery.ajax({ type: 'POST', url: '/Config/UpdateLanguagePreference', contentType: 'application/json; charset=utf-8', data: '{ "languageTag": "' + selectedLanguage + '" }' }); When I try to the code, however, I get the error: Server Error in '/' Application. Value cannot be null. Parameter name: languageTag What's the problem? Isn't this how to POST JSON to an MVC Controller? I can examine the POST using Fiddler and see that the request is correct. For some reason, UpdateLanguagePreference() is getting a null or empty string.
