I made it as written, but when i logged out from root, i cant access root@IP_ADDRESS -p 30000 again! but i can access user@IP_ADDRESS -p 30000.   • Finegrain Performance Reporting on svchost.exe

I love me some Process Explorer for keeping track of more than just the high-level tasks you get in the Task Manager. But I constantly want to know which of those dozen services hosted in a single process under svchost is making my processor spike. So... is there any non-intrusive way to find this information out?

  • On an HTC Hero - with provider Orange in the UK - can one upgrade the OS?

    Currently it's running Android 1.5 - I'd clearly prefer to be on 1.6, 2.0 or 2.1 - but there seems to be limited information on this available on the internet. If anyone can confirm whether it's been done before, what versions are compatible with the handset, and any problems, it'd be really useful. Aside - it's kind of poor that a phone sold in March 2010 only runs Android 1.5... :(

  • Chrome print background images

    Hi Im trying to print a php generated document in chrome, on the browser it looks fine But my printer will not print any coloured backgrounds. I know that IE has an option to print background but chrome does not . As the end user will print this off I do not want to find alternatives like a screen grab or save file etc I want to find a real solution to this . Can anyone offer any suggestions please ? Thanks

  • Restore single users Exchange 2003 mailbox from backup

    I take weekly backups of exchange in full. I also take complete weekly backups of the entire server. It is a Server 2003 R2 with AD and Exchange 2003 all on one box. One users inbox has disappeared. She has 19000+ junk items now. It is possible the inbox got mixed into the junk. Regardless it is such a huge mess she is not going to go through all of that.... I want to restore he mailbox from the backup. I followed this MS KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823176 I had to use Method 3. I have a VM of Server 2003 R2 with exchange but I am having failures on the restore from NT backup. The backup log just states to check the application log.... Application log points to backup log... Only info Is failed to restore Only thing different is the computer name... The only error I can find is in the Application log. Information Store Database not found All others just say that the backup failed. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. UPDATE I have successfully proven I can restore the DB into a recovery storage group in my VM Unfortunately due to the actual account being on a different store I am unable to do the recovery... Error is The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer has failed. The MAPI provider failed. Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store ID no: 8004011d-0512-00000000 Two questions QUESTION 1 Should I repeat my steps on the production exchange server in the recover storage group? then merge into her original account? I am just concerned with doing recovery like that on the live server.... QUESTION 2 Is there any way I can extract her .PST from my recovery VM and then import into her outlook? On the Recovery VM: I restored the raw DB from my full backup repaired it with ESEUTIL then mounted in the recovery store. Was thinking I could just repeat and mount in the main store on the VM?     Hello, Recently I installed an apcusbd on a FreeBSD 8.0 amd64 box via ports system. It installed perfectly but it won't run. Here what is says in the log: FATAL ERROR in generic-usb.c at line 636 Cannot find UPS device It appeared that HID driver picked the /dev/ugen4.2 which could cause the apcusb being unable to find the device. After I had discovered this, I rebuilt the kernel and removed the hid driver. Now it just shows "ugen4.2: <Tripp Lite> at usbus4" and no uhid0 device appears. Nevertheless the problem persisted. I tried to leave the DEVICE config setting blank --- won't help. Then I specified the particular device in the config, but it did not help either.   • How to move Mailboxes over from old Exchange 2007 to new EBS 2008 network?

    This q is similar to: http://serverfault.com/questions/39070/how-to-move-exchange-2003-mailbox-or-store-from-2003-to-2007-on-separate-networks Basically I am trying to move our exchange mailboxes over to a test domain that is hosting EBS2008 with Exchange 2007. We plan to move as soon as we can when we have our exchange data over. I have tried moving a db with mailboxes over but cannot get it to mount in the new Exchange in any way possible, including mounting it onto a recovery store. From my understanding the ONLY prerequisite for moving Exchange DBs across is that it must have the same Organizational name (unlike previous versions of Exchange). If anyone has any insight as to why I cannot mount and simply reattach the mailboxes, please give me an idea as to what could be wrong. It should be as simple as this. Note that the DBs I have are in a clean state. I cannot use ExMerge because I am not running any mailboxes on 2003. I have also tried using a 32bit Vista machine with the Export-Mailbox cmdlet to extract mailboxes but anything I do to it results in Permission errors. I have tried to troubleshoot these with no success. I am running in full admin with proper exchange roles and yet it still gives me access denied errors: Export-Mailbox : MapiExceptionNetworkError: Unable to make admin interface conn ection to server. (hr=0x80040115, ec=-2147221227) Also some errors show in the management console: get-MailboxDatabase Completed Warning: ERROR: Could not connect to the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service on server TATOOINE.baytech.local. One of the following problems may be occurring: 1- The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is not running. 2- There is no network connectivity to server TATOOINE.baytech.local. 3- You do not have sufficient permissions to perform this command. The following permissions are required to perform this command: Exchange View-Only Administrator and local administrators group for the target server. 4- Credentials have been cached for an unpriviledged user. Try removing the entry for this server from Stored User Names and Passwords. Why I have to use a 32bit machine to export a simple .pst file is beyond me... So yeah I am now out of ideas and any help would be great! Thanks in advance.

    My document root (suddenly and unexpectedly) changed to /htdocs from /var/www. This happened after I restarted apache2. The only thing I changed was the httpd.conf file which now reads as follows: <VirtualHost *> ServerName hostname UseCanonicalName ON </VirtualHost> I've greped through the entire /etc directory looking for DocumentRoot and they all say /var/www.

  • How decode xfs lost+found directory

    I have managed to trash my homebrew Nas box (an old hp d530 + 2x 750gb sata soft raid1 + 17gb boot disk with ubuntu server 8.10) I have searched the web and tried to repair the file system but to no avail :( I was thinking that the dirs/files located under the root of the lost+found directory are 64 bit numbers. Is there any way that I could decant the number into binary form, from there reconstruct the directory/file structure. More to the point can anyone point to the information on how xfs inodes are broken down(does that make sense)?

    I am using word 2007 and am inserting code into the document. I have a style with a fixed-width font and light grey background and all, and I use Notepad++ for syntax highlighting. My problem is with a "line" of code that is too long to display, so is there a way to auto-insert an arrow symbol at the beginning of a such lines to indicate that it is the same line (kind of like hyphenating, except on long lines instead of long words) So for e.g. something like this: public static void foo(String abcdefg, Boolean 123, ?String xyz)

Is there such a product that could sit on a hosted rack somewhere that would look at an incoming email and from information in AD determine which mail server to relay the message to?
