    Is there a way to permanently remove highlighting from editable areas within a protected word document? This is in relation to a previous question I had on locking portions of a Word Document located here: http://superuser.com/questions/143860/can-i-lock-or-make-uneditable-portions-of-a-word-document Using this solution, any editable area is highlighted. You can uncheck the Highlight editable area box within the Protect Document bar but if you save and reopen the area is highlighted again. The document is on a network drive. If another user were to open the document it would also be highlighted. Is there anyway to permanently turn this highlighting off so that when a user accesses the document from the network they do not see this highlighting? Using Word 2007.

    When using XPath in .NET one of the gotchas to be aware of is that all namespaces must be named, otherwise you’ll end up with no results. Default namespaces that are specified with xmlns alone still need to be recognized in the XPath query! Say I had a bit of XML like what is returned from the QueryService web service in Sharepoint: 1: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> 2: <ResponsePacket xmlns="urn:Microsoft.Search.Response"> 3: <Response> 4: <Range> 5: ... 6: <Results> 7: <Document xmlns="urn:Microsoft.Search.Response.Document" relevance="849"> 8: ...   When consuming and navigating this response with XPath it is necessary to name all namespaces. Then those named namespaces must be used in reference to the individual element being requested (i.e. doc:Document).     hi i have problems in converting an XML document type into a Document object.. this is the piece of code line 1 : Document doc=null; line 2 : doc = (Document) parser.parse(sourceFile); for this line 2 it throws java classcast exception.. without the typecast it shows error as "Type mismatch: cannot convert from org.w3c.dom.Document to javax.swing.text.Document" how do i now typecast properly? any suggestions??

    I have implement the ValueChanged event, but I found it will be triggered only after change the focus from numericUpDown to other control or by clicking the up/down arrow. Inputting the value in the control will not trigger ValueChanged event. What I did now is adding an KeyDown event and judge if the input value is numeric (can not include SHIFT/CTRL/ALT key); but there is another case need to be involved: the user can paste value into the numericUpDown ctrl What I need is : When I was typing numeric value (only numeric) in the numericUpDown ctrl, it will known the content has been changed; When pasted a numeric value into the ctrl, it also kowns the content changed

For example, what if I wanted to use a lambda as an EnumChildProc with EnumChildWindows?   • How to capture the event if a new process (application!) is started?

I've heard that this is possible by using a hook but the only examples I can find are based on mouse/keyboard events. What is an example link of how I can create such a hook in C#? Oh and btw: Nope, I don't want to use WMI which could be a solution as well but it's not an option in my case.
