    Take the following function: DataTable go() { return someTableAdapter.getSomeData(); } When I set a breakpoint in this function, is there a possibility to inspect the returned value? The "go" function is directly coupled to a datagrid in an aspx page. The only way to inspect the returned datatable, is to use a temporary variable... However, that's a bit inconvenient. Isn't there another way?

    I am using ASSERTE macro to check for pre-conditions. According to its definition it is using ASSERT_BASE, which in turn calls _CrtDbgReportW to print out the message. Where does _CrtDbgReportW output goes to? I would assume that if the application is started from debugger, it would go to debugger window. Where would the messages go if it is not under debugger?

    I'm working on a project that utilizes the USB Host capabilities in Android 3.2. I'm suffering from a deplorable lack of knowledge and talent regarding USB/Serial communication in general. I'm also unable to find any good example code for what I need to do. I need to read from a USB Communication Device. Ex: When I connect via Putty (on my PC) I enter: >GO And the device starts spewing out data for me. Pitch/Roll/Temp/Checksum. Ex: $R1.217P-0.986T26.3*60 $R1.217P-0.986T26.3*60 $R1.217P-0.987T26.3*61 $R1.217P-0.986T26.3*60 $R1.217P-0.985T26.3*63 I can send the initial 'GO' command from the Android device at which time I receive an echo of 'GO'. Then nothing else on any subsequent reads. How can I: 1) Send the 'go' command. 2) Read in the stream of data that results. The USB device I'm working with has the following interfaces (endpoints). It works in all browsers. The only issue I'm running into is that in IE6 the video keeps playing and in other browsers it stops the video your watching and loads the one you clicked on. I looked into using the .remove object or the .append to a div, but I can't seem to get that to work and if it does work will it play nice with IE6. Try it out and maybe solve my issues.

  • Is there an easy way to stream a m3u in iPhone?

    I can have a UIWebView with the .m3u file opened, which will go to the webview with a play button displayed, and that automatically goes to the quicktime player and starts playing the stream. But when I press the done button, it goes back to the UIWebView with a little play button in the middle, and from there you can go back to the previous screen (it was selected from a tableview). So I just want it to automatically load the quicktime player in the view. How can I do that?

  • How can I have a web link perform an action in a specific desktop application?

    The specific situation is I have a .zip file that I want to open with a certain application. However, I don't want all ZIP files associated with that application. I think the answer is that instead of saying, "download this zip file, and open it with application X" I could have the browser basically go well my desktop application to go fetch it on its own (the same way directives like itunes: mailto: or aim: do things like launch the itunes store, add buddies, etc). Thoughts?

    Hi, I'm making a game where when a card is touched, it grows so that it is focused, and when you 'let go', it goes back to its original size and place. This seems pretty standard, however, when I add cards and move the hand around to accommodate different numbers of cards, touching the card makes it go to its original place, and not to the new place. This has been stumping me for a while now Any hints would be much appreciated. Thanks !

    Isn't port forwarding managed by the router? Like, I've googled up some software applications that seem to port forward with great success, but it technically seems to be impossible. The packet must first go to the router. The router must forward it to the correct computer based on port forwarding rules. So how can a software application manage port forwarding if the packet must GO to the computer running this software application in the first place, meaning that port forwarding already is successful in the first place?

Then someone makes a quick change that would require me to basically go through all of them to merge etc. Is there a shortcut to go through all the branches I have here, merge them with whatever work that was fetched, then rebase them?
