• My rewrite rule is not working

  I need to make a rewrite rule for a page, but it does not work. I do have mod_rewrite for apache enabled This is my .htacces file: <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^gameofthrones/(full|house|characters)\.(all|Stark|Lannister)\.(html|xml|json)$ index.php?output=$3&house=$2&info=$1 </IfModule> But when I enter this url: localhost/school/str-webservices/eindopdracht/index.php?output=html&house=all&info=full It stays that way, but it should be something like: localhost/school/str-webservices/eindopdracht/gameofthrones/full/all/html What am I doing wrong? • Converting byte array to image in xcode?

  I am getting a byte array(I reckon) in NSMutableArray's object.The NSMutableArray i get is from Xml parsing from a service URL..Now I need to convert that byte array to UIImage ..Gone through google and found to convert to NSData and then UIImage but couldn't understand how..? How can I do it ? • Can a raw Lucene index be loaded by Solr?

  Some colleagues of mine have a large Java web app that uses a search system built with Lucene Java. What I'd like to do is have a nice HTTP-based API to access those existing search indexes. I've used Nutch before and really liked how simple the OpenSearch implementation made it to grab results as RSS. I've tried setting Solr's dataDir in solrconfig.xml, hoping it would happily pick up the existing index files, but it seems to just ignore them. My main question is: Can Solr be used to access Lucene indexes created elsewhere? Or might there be a better solution?

  Hi all, I'm implementing a web service on the xfire plugin. I was wondering how I'm supposed to handle the errors. I tried with this setup but the error is not returned to the SOAP client: GaSession[] myMethod( String userId ) throws MyException{ GaUser user = GaUser.findByUserId( userId ) if (!user) throw new MyException("user ${userId} does not exist") // do stuff and return valid results } Is there a standard way to handle errors and return them to the client in a clear way? My log is full of messages like: 2010-06-13 18:20:40,926 [Thread-289] DEBUG aegis.XMLClassMetaInfoManager - Mapping file : /com/mycompany/MyClass.aegis.xml not found. Is there a way to fix this?   My wish is to know how I can program a mobile website, that fit to all mobile phones. Are there any special approaches to recognize a device and render the code according to it? Which tools and coding languages are required? My first thought was to hold the website in XML, which would be parsed depending on the device. You have to consider old phones, even devices with only wap support. For example: The mobile website has to recognize Nokia N75 and render/send the code that looks optimal for this device. Same thing with an iPhone or a Motorola Razr.

  I'm attempting to call LinkedIn's API and store Network Updates. Each update has a Unix timestamp that I'm retrieving as a string variable from the REST XML response. I want to convert the string timestamp to a mysql datetime format. The date() function accepts an integer as the second argument for time to be converted. However, I'm on Windows 32 bit PHP and the integer type for this platform is limited to 2147483647. $timestamp = '1293714626675'; // sample pulled from linkedin $timestamp = (int) $timestamp; // timestamp now equals 2147483647 $mysqlDatetime = date('Y-m-d H:i:s', $timestamp); // produces incorrect time Is there a better method of creating the mysql datetime in PHP? I realize that I can convert it upon insert into MySQL however, that would require changing other dependent code.

• Sequence Number in testing Spring application with JUnit (Hibernating, Spring MVC)

Iam able to add an comment and I also have a defaultRollback property set. So, the added comment will be deleted automatically. happy!..Now the problem is with the sequence number for mcomment. Can I, in any way rollback the seq number? any suggestins on that. I dont want to mess up the sequrnce number. Business requires comment Id to be showed. (I still dont know why). I know in memory db is an option....but I am guessing defaultRollback purpose is to eliminate in memory db testing and mocking. (Just my opinion.)

For outputing MS and Open format, there is no problem, all work properly. But what I want to know is, if I can output something (like XML or HTML) which I can use after to build a PDF document? • How do I print array values in a range when values are supplied?

  My php reads in xml and I want to ouput the values within a given range. I have no way of knowing the size of the array or the range. However, I do know where to start; I have a $key that holds my current location. I also know where to stop; I have the word "ENDEVENTS" between each set. I want to get the values from my current position ($key) to my end position ("ENDEVENTS"). for example i may have an array set like this: Array( [0]=1 [1]=apple [2]=straw [3]=bike [4]=ENDEVENTS [5]=15 [6]=hair [7]=shirt [8]=nose [9]=kiwi [10]=ENDEVENTS ) My code knows when I'm on 15 (in this example $key=5). I want to print 6 through 9. I tried using foreach but it's thats causing issues with what I'm trying to produce. Any ideas?

  I had previously asked this question. At the time I was working with VS 2008. To restate the question. I have a web application that generates 1000's of small xml files in a certain directory. I would like to exclude this directory from the web application project in visual studio 2010. With vs 2008 it was not possible. Has anything changed? Besides the general wait for VS to iterate through this directory and add an item in the solution explorer for each file, it also strains my system resources, so I would like to exclude it from the project, but the dir and files need to physically exist on disk, because they are part of the application.   Hi, i would like to know, what is the best way to send files between python and C# and vice versa. I have my own protocol which work on socket level, and i can send string and numbers in both ways. Loops works too. With this i can send pretty much anything, like package of users id, if it is simple data. But soon i will start sending whole files, maybe xml or executables. Simple server with files is no an option because i want sending files from client too. I was thinking about serialization but i don't know it is the best solution, but if it is i will love some tips from stackoverflow community. EDIT: I added django to question and chose using http.

  I am trying to understand how sscanf() works. I ran some examples from this page: http://docs.roxen.com/pike/7.0/tutorial/strings/sscanf.xml and they don't work on my platform. I can't understand why. For instance: "sscanf("4711bar", "%d%s", a, b);" makes the program exit with an error... Here is one of the examples that work: "sscanf("foo", "f%s", a);". Does anybody know why? Do they work on your platforms? Thank you. • Library of ALL countries and their states for address forms

  I need a library that includes all countries and respective codes in 1 array and a second multidimensional array for country to its states and a last array for state code to state name. I found tons of matches for similar requests but none actually have a simple CSV or XML with just that. My goal is to build an address form where you select your country and it then pre-populates the state dropdown - if the country has states - with the country's states. Shouldn't be so hard to find, but I guess i'm blind. Thanks so much for all help!

Currently I have the following action defined: <action name="printTest" class="MyClass" > <result name="error">/WEB-INF/jsp/error.jsp</result> <result name="input">/WEB-INF/jsp/test.jsp</result> <result name="success">/WEB-INF/jsp/test.jsp</result> </action> If the user types URL "/app/printtest.do" instead of "/app/printtest.do" this action is not executed. Other then mod_rewrite on the httpd level or something like that, the only option that I know about right now is simply adding the same exact action and changing the name to "printtest". Ideally it would be a simple config change to struts.xml

  Hi I am learning how to program on Android phone. However I am unsure how to make my application work for the different screen sizes and resolutions. I read the tutorial on the android site and still unsure how to do it. First I know there are different files so could make a layout for each of the sizes but my problem is most of the screen needs to be dynamically created so there would not be much to put in these files. So I am not sure how to android to re size dynamic controls based on the screen size. I have also read it is bad practice to make controls in anything but the xml file as it separates view logic and programming logic. However they never talk about if you need to make these controls dynamically what you should do. So is there some other way to do it that is considered good practice?

  In the app.config file if I use <add key = "FileDelimeter" value ="&#2c;"/> as unicode for COMMA, it is throwing error Invalid character in a decimal number 'c' For SPACE, <add key = "FileDelimeter" value ="&#20;"/> the error is Character'', hex value 0*14 is illegal in xml while <add key = "FileDelimeter" value ="&#09;"/> for "\t" worked. Where is the mistake? Kindly give a generic solution. Thanks
