    I want to use selenium scripts to click on a bunch of links on my webpage one by one, each click results in a page refresh. However selenium doesn't support css pseudo class like :visited, so I can't distinguish the ones that are already clicked from the ones that I want to click on next. Is there a way to solve my problem?

    I am using combination of php+jQuery for captcha validation and later sending mails and do other stuff. The pseudo code is something like this: captcha_code = jQuery.post(.....execute captcha script and get status) if(captcha_code == "correct"){ send_mail_using_php_script; } Now I have no idea whether spammers can directly execute the "send_mail_using_php_script". Do they? If yes, then shall I move captcha validation in send_mail_using_php_script to make it more safer? Is there any other safer method? Prashant

    At my job, we have pseudo-standard of creating one table to hold the "standard" information for an entity, and a second table, named like 'TableNameDetails', which holds optional data elements. On average, for every row in the main table will have about 8-10 detail rows in it. My question is: What kind of performance impacts does this have over adding these details as additional nullable columns on the main table?

    What's the best way to get a ul to start from 'x'? The start tag is depricated and everything I have found on Google has used the :before pseudo class which doesn't work in IE6 or 7. Didn't have much luck when searching stack either. Only thing I can think of is manually go through and number the lists myself and style accordingly? Any help appreciated.

    Basic question, sorry. Basically, I have a script that creates a MySQL entry each time someone visits the page. A logging script. However, I want to make it autoprune after, say, 100 visits. For example in pseudo code: if amount of rows > 100 { delete rows 1+ until amount of rows == 100 } So in a nutshell, each time a new row is added after 100, it needs to automatically remove the row with the smallest id (My primary key).

    Hi, Is it feasible to play a number of FLV files at the same time on one SWF? Basically I have a brief to create a video banner with a number of FLVs of people playing at the same time but starting at different points in the videos. My concerns are with loading times, memory consumption and the starting of each FLV at a different point and looping it. The FLVs will be stored on a server and pseudo-streamed.   • Static route works on one computer, not the other

    I have been struggling with this for a couple days now, maybe I just need some people with a fresh perspective to figure out what the issue is. Basically I have a bunch of computers that are being routed through a specific gateway in order to access a web page that is hosted internally on a separate subnet. I set up static routes on all of the computers, and they all work... except one. So essentially what I am trying to do here is route all traffic to the 10.zzz.zzz.0 subnet through the 10.xxx.xxx.147 gateway. Everything else should go through the 10.xxx.xxx.230 gateway. This is the intended behavior, and again it is working everywhere but that one station. I noticed that the Active Route metric costs differ between the two stations, but I am new to the routing table and I am not sure how that is impacting the behavior. I hope I have been able to explain the situation clearly. Any help would be much appreciated. I can provide any additional information if needed!

It you cannot watch static variables during an Eclipse debugging session, and sometimes the Variable view cannot show data. In the source code, move the mouse over the required variable to inspect the variable value. A real device shown in the Device Selector is deleted from the Device Manager, yet it still appears. Kill the device manager in the system tray, and relaunch it. Then you will see the device removed from the list. On-device profiling does not work on a device. CPU profiling, networking monitoring, and memory monitoring do not work on the device, since the device runtime does not yet support it. Please do the profiling with your emulator first, and then test your application on the device. In the Device Selector, using Clean Database on real external device causes a null pointer exception. External devices do not have a database recognized by the SDK, so you can disregard this exception message. Suspending the Emulator during a Memory Monitor session hangs the emulator. Do not use the Suspend option (F5) while the Memory Monitor is running. If the emulator is hung, open the Windows task manager and stop the emulator process (javaw). To switch to another application while the Memory Monitor is running, choose Application > AMS Home (F4), and select a different application.     Hello, I have problem with my Sony Vaio Z VPCZ1. It has physical selector of GPUs which Linux kernel not detect. So after GRUB I see black display (I tried different distributions of Ubuntu and other Linux OS). I read in Ubuntu 10.10 was solve same problem with hybrid graphics but not in my case ^^ I found solutions (not easy at do) for oldest models. But I'm not expert in Linux and before I prefer ask people with more experience. Somebody can help me? Someone installed Ubuntu in same laptop?   • Using your own gameloop logic on iphone?

    I'm currently working on moving some android-ndk code to the iphone and have hit a wall. I'm new to iphone development, and from looking at some samples it seems that the main loop is handled for you and all you've got to do is override the render method on the view to handle the rendering and add a selector to handle the update methods. The render method itself lookslike it's attached to the windows refresh. But in android I've got my own game loop that controls the rendering and updates using c++ time.h. is it possible to implement the same here bypassing apple's loop? I'd really like the keep the structures of the code similar. Thanks!

I have managed to launch scrapy console but no matter what I type in response.xpath() i cant seem to select the right node. I know it works because when I type response.xpath('//div[@class="container"]') I get a response but don't know how to navigate to the listsing cleardix shelflisting. I am hoping that once i get this bit I can continue working my way through the spider. Thank you in advance! PS I wonder if it is not possible to scan this site - is it possible for the owners to block spiders?

  • Byobu looks broken in Putty from Windows

    After trying screen for 2 days I already hate it and am now trying byobu. However currently it looks very broken in Putty. I've already fixed the key mapping issue, but this issue isn't specified in the man page or even google: Notice the misplaced position of the list of windows, the broken selector position, the duplication of the last window, the random a in the top right, and the misplaced apply option. You can't see this, but the last option is not selectable. Is there some option in Putty I need to use in order to see this correctly?

    Similar to this post No ibus icon in Kubuntu, I have trouble with the ibus icon in Ubuntu 12.04. Each time an update is installed, the language selector for Japanese disappears from the top panel. I need to uninstall and install Japanese again, then reboot, to make the symbol appear again. In this thread No iBus icon in Kubuntu 12.04 the suggestion was to install the Japanese Version of Ubuntu, but is it really true that one has to stick to a special version of Ubuntu to get this problem solved? If so, how can I transfer the settings easily from the current version to the Japanese one?
