  • Tmux installation problems

    hI, I am trying to install the terminal multiplexer tmux on my Debian Lenny server so that I can have multiple terminals through ssh. However I have had a lot of difficulty installing it from the debian package, and by compiling it. When I try the package it says something about the wrong version of libc6, and when I compile it I get the following error: server.o: In function `server_start': server.c:(.text+0x273): undefined reference to `event_reinit' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [tmux] Error 1 Help would be very much appreciated, RayQuang

  • Exchange 2007 Receive E-Mail for other Domains

    My organisation has Exchange 2007 e-mail server, and now, we want to host e-mail service for other organisation (neworg.com) I added new Authoritative Active Domain neworg.com, but when adding a new mailbox, there is no option to chose new SMTP domain name neworg.com, and I can't add new user with SMTP domain [email protected]. Probably I misunderstood something while reading posts on Internet, but can someone help please?

    Hi there, I'm trying to setup Jira for some company projects, and also some personal projects, and I'm running into some confusion with the permissions. Would someone running a Jira server be able to give me a basic rundown of the most efficient way to setup company projects (where a group of people will be working on the project), and a personal project (where only myself, and perhaps one other person will be working on the project)?   • Troubleshooting Cpanel Email delays

    I am running cpanel cPanel 11.25.0 on CentOS and have intermittment email delays (both coming and going) for a few specific domains. Emails from this server as well as major providers such as gmail, etc., do not suffer these delays. Any help with troubleshooting this issue? I am well aware this could be caused by something external but at this point getting someone else to fix this issue is out of the question.

    I have tried this shell script on a SUSE 10 server, kernel 2.6.16.60, ext3 filesystem the script has problem like this: cat file | awk '{print $1" "$2" "$3}' | sort -n > result the file's size is about 3.2G, and I get such error message: File size limit exceeded in this shell, ulimit -f is unlimited after I change script into this cat file | awk '{print $1" "$2" "$3}' >tmp sort -n tmp > result the problem is gone. I don't know why, can anyone help me with an explanation?

  • WAMP - phpMyAdmin is loading a blank browser (Firefox)

    I recently uninstalled an older version of WAMP then installed the latest version. The link to the localhost displays the WAMPSERVER home page successfully. However, the http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ returns only a blank browser - it displays nothing. localhost/sqlitemanager/ returns a Forbidden You don't have permission to access /sqlitemanager/ on this server. This seems to be a 403 forbidden error I've looked everywhere for an answer to this. Help please

  • Xinerama 3 displays can't have main display in the middle

    I have 3 monitors running on 2 cards, they are all working as 3 seperate displays, however, if i move the main display from the left (0,0) i cannot drag to the left window as the mouse goes crazy and crashes my system (i have to restart x) I would much prefer my main display to be in the centre.     I am trying to synchronize the content of the directory my_dir/ from /home to /backup. This directory contains a file which name has a double quote in it, such as to"to. Here is my rsync command: rsync -Cazh /home/my_dir/ /backup/my_dir/ And I get the following message: rsync: mkstemp "/backup/my_dir/.to"to.d93PZr" failed: Invalid argument (22) For info, rsync works well when the synchronized filenames contain single quote, parenthesis and space. Thus, why is it bugging with a double quote? Thanks for any help.

  • Safe to disable compile options for Nginx (when used only as reverse proxy/cache)

    I have read that I can do this to make a smaller footprint Nginx when used as static content cache/reverse proxy: --without-mail_pop3_module --without-mail_imap_module --without-mail_smtp_module What other options are safe to disable? SSI, FastCGI? Others? The only requirements for the reverse proxy is to be able to do https and gzip compression. Will disabling all the module really help with footprint and/or performance?

  • How to map to Windows Server shares in Linux (Ubuntu) easily?

    I know how to get connected to a Windows share easy enough, and I've read how to change the fstab file to get it to mount at boot. The real question here is...can I create a few shortcuts on a common user desktop so that regardless of who logs into Ubuntu machine they can open that shortcut and it will open the Windows share? I would also need to allow AD credentials during login, so a link to that will help as well, but I'm sure I can search google for that part.

    I'm looking for something like nice for cpu, but for network usage that will limit application network consumption to level that will configure. I have problems with xapian-replicate-server that is consuming 80 % of my network. It's causing mysql connections problem (mysql server is working on this machine too). I can't move xapian or mysql to other machine so i need to limit xapian network usage to a decent level. Is there any tool that will help me do this ?

Looking in the file properties did not help find the correct button to change the thumbnail...so I just wonder how he did it!   • Vista 32-Bit Home Premium will not let me install any updates.

    Windows update says that it could not search for new updates and gives the error code 80070643. From what I have read it has something to do with Office 2003 and I dont even have it installed. I tried downloading and installing vista sp2 but it fails as well giving me error: ERROR_EVT_CONFIGURATION_ERROR(0x89973aa2). Can someone please help me resolve this issue?
