• Some users cannot connect to Exchange Server or Outlook Web Access

  In our network, some users cannot connect to either Exchange Server 2007 or Outlook Web Access while others are able to connect to both. On one computer, the error occurred after the user ran the AVG anti-virus update. Some computers return this error message "Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x800401 ID): The server is not available." Thanks, in advance, for your help!

  PBX: Nortel Opt 81c Connection: Analog lines through Procomm or Reflections We are thinking about backing up the Nortel PBX config and checking them into the subversion. I am wondering if anyone has found the a way to automate the pulling of the configs off the Nortel PBX. Configs would be programming listing in plain text that we can diff in subversion to see what has been changed. An example config would be to go into ld 21 and printing the RDBs.

• How to compare mp3, flac audio data in a file, ignoring header data (ID3 tag) etc.?

  I've backed up some audio files up in 2 places and added ID3 tags into one backup but not the other, since time has passed my own memory has faded on whether the backups are actually the same, but now one has ID3 data and the other doesn't, basic binary compare will fail and inspection will be cumbersome. • http://localhost/ always gives 502 unknown host

  My service for World Wide Web Publishing Service started successfully but whenever I browse to http://localhost/ I always get 502 Unknown host. When I try to execute ./install on the command prompt, it waits for few seconds and then returns to prompt without any error.   Firefox 4's default home page provides a search engine with some snippets below. Is there any way to customize the search engine used through about:config or some other configuration file? localStorage["search-engine"] sometimes gets reset, possibly after a FF update. I would like to avoid creating a greasemonkey script that scripts on about:home. If an extension exist to fulfill the task, I'd be happy too. I'm using Firefox from Kubuntu 11.04 for that matters.

• Make Emacs status bar draggable anywhere?

  In Emacs, if I split the frame (C-x 2), each window has a status bar. Historically, I could drag the status bar to resize them. Unfortunately, with Emacs these days and just a few modes (for version control, line/col number, abbrevs, my programming language, etc.), pretty much the entire bar has remapped mouse-1 to something other than letting me drag the bar! Is there any way to turn the status bar back into something I can drag, without losing all of my modes?

  How can I mount windows share file system into RHEL? I'm not a sysadmin, but I got this task assigned :( I've tried this solution mount -t smbfs -o username=samba,password=samba //Desktop/Public /mnt/public But the output is: mount: unknown filesystem type 'smbfs' How can I mount a windows share into RHEL 5? FWIW I've successfully created a link with the menu: Places>Connect to Server>Service Type:Windows Share Which creates a link in the desktop, but I would need to programatically save files in that machine, hence I need it mounted as filesystem. • Firefox 16 freezes or crashes when playing Youtube or flash videos

  Using the most up to date Firefox (16.0.2), and Adobe Flash. Whenever I go to any youtube video or flash video on another page, Firefox starts the video, but only plays the audio, and then when I make any click on anywhere within Firefox, it gets completely stuck. It freezes and the only way to get it to close is to go to task manager. I restarted in Safe Mode and it did the same thing. Windows 7 64 bit.
