  • Are there other application layer firewalls like Microfot TMG (ISA) that do advanced http rules?

    Since the old days ISA and now TMG have had several great features that I often want to deploy to my customers because of the enhanced functionality and security, but often the cost of an additinal server HW, Windows Server, and TMG license is too much to justify when compaired to a $300-500 appliance. Are there other gateway firewalls that can perform one or more of these application layer features: pre-auth incoming http traffic against AD/LDAP before sending packets to internal server (forms auth or basic creds popup)? read host headers of incoming http traffic (even on https) to a single public IP and route packets to different internal servers based on that host header?

    im moving from a c# VS2008 world into the mac world and I just wanted to know how I can create a quick little command line based application so that I can write many little objective-c apps without worrying about creating an iPhone app or whatever. Which projects do I create in xcode? I can see the Command Line Tool under "Mac os x" but the only options for the type is "C", "C++", "Core Data", "Core Foundation", "Core Services" and "Foundation" but no simple objective c project?     Hi all, A Grails app I'm working on is becoming pretty big, and it would be good to refactor it into several modules, so that we don't have to redeploy the whole thing every time. In your opinion, what is the best practice to split a Grails app in several modules?   • SOAP WCF Webservice behaves differently when called locally or remotely

    I have a WCF SOAP 1.1 Webservice with the configuration specified below. A concurrent call to any method of this endpoint hangs until the other returns when called remotely (from another computer on the network). I cannot replicate this when these methods are called locally (with a client located on the same machine). I tried to increase the maxConcurrentCalls with no luck ... the service behavior seems to be different according to the client local/remote location. Any guess?   • Solving a cyclical dependency in Ninject (Compact Framework)

    I'm trying to use Ninject for dependency injection in my MVP application. However, I have a problem because I have two types that depend on each other, thus creating a cyclic dependency. At first, I understand that it was a problem, because I had both types require each other in their constructors. Therefore, I moved one of the dependencies to a property injection instead, but I'm still getting the error message. What am I doing wrong? This is the presenter: public class LoginPresenter : Presenter<ILoginView>, ILoginPresenter { public LoginPresenter( ILoginView view ) : base( view ) { } } and this is the view: public partial class LoginForm : Form, ILoginView { [Inject] public ILoginPresenter Presenter { private get; set; } public LoginForm() { InitializeComponent(); } } And here's the code that causes the exception: static class Program { /// <summary> /// The main entry point for the application. /// </summary> [MTAThread] static void Main() { // Show the login form Views.LoginForm loginForm = Kernel.Get<Views.Interfaces.ILoginView>() as Views.LoginForm; Application.Run( loginForm ); } } The exception happens on the line with the Kernel.Get<>() call. Why doesn't Ninject understand that since one is constructor injection and the other is property injection, this can work just fine? I even read somewhere looking for the solution to this problem that Ninject supposedly gets this right as long as the cyclic dependency isn't both in the constructors. Apparently not, though. Any help resolving this would be much appreciated.

  • Rolling back a transaction in a Grails Service

    I have been updating all my services to be transactional by using Grail's ability to rollback when a RuntimeException is thrown in the service. I have, in most cases, doing this: def domain = new Domain(field: field) if (!domain.save()) { throw new RuntimeException() } Anyways, I wanted to verify that this indeed will rollback the transaction... it got me thinking as to whether at this point it's already been committed.. Also, if not, would setting flush:true change that? I am not very familiar with how Spring/Hibernate does all of this :)

    Hi, Can anybody plz tell me is there any differnce between spml and wsdl?? Are they related to each other?? I got few things that wsdl is generic, used for any service while spml is only for provisioning services. I tried googling things but m not getting wat is exactly spml and wsdl. Thanks..
