  Hi, I had built a application using the Android SDK. Now I would like to package this application as part of the Android build. So that when I port Android into my device, it will appear in the Application menu. I tried, copying the apk file into the package folder, and include it in the make file. Doesn't work. How should I do it?

• Django site on Nginx+FastCGI goes (504 gateway timeout)

  Sometimes my whole Django based site goes into 504 gateway timeout errors so none page can be displayed. Is it possible to write a shell program and cronjob it run every 5 minutes to detect such errors and restart FastCGI process if needed? I'm currently using command below to restart FastCGI in case it's crashed but it doesn't work for above situation because when 504 gateway errors occur, the processes are still running. ps ax | grep -v grep | grep port=8001 > /dev/null || restart_fcgi.sh

  I intended for this function to call my MVC action method that returns a CSV report. $(function() { $('#exportButton').click(function() { $.get('/curReport/GetCSVReport'); }); }); If I make a button like the code below then, when it is clicked, I'm given the "Open with/Save File" window. <input type="button" value="Export" onClick="location.href='CurReport/GetCSVReport'"> However, when I change my button to use my jQuery function then, although GetCSVReport() is called I'm not given the "Open with/Save File" window.   I am using an example from iDesign about one way calls. I can get it to work on a Vista machine (VS2008) but not on a windows 7 machine (VS2010). I get this error: HTTP could not register URL http://+:8001/MyService/. Your process does not have access rights to this namespace ServiceHost host = new ServiceHost(typeof(MyService)); host.Open(); I get the error on the host.Open(); line. I noticed that windows asks first for some firewall and to give permission which I did but still it is not working. What can I do?

  Hello. I have a file of IP addresses called "IPs". When I parse a new IP from my logs, I'd like to see if the new IP is already in file IPs, before I add it. I know how to add the new IP to the file, but I'm having trouble seeing if the new IP is already in the file. !/usr/bin/python from IPy import IP IP = IP('192.168.1.2') f=open(IP('IPs', 'r')) #This line doesn't work f=open('IPs', 'r') # this one doesn't work for line in f: if IP == line: print "Found " +IP +" before" f.close() In the file "IPs", each IP address is on it's own line.   I have a need to start an application on bootup on the linux console and I do not have a need for any type of login or security. I do not need any ALT-F1,F2,etc virtual consoles but I would like to allow SSH access via the network port for debugging, loading, etc. The application is a SDL graphics program running with fbcon as the SDL_VIDEODRIVER if that matters. I'm currently using Fedora 10 and 12 but any distro that supports SDL using the fbcon framebuffer would be acceptable.

  I'm working with an SSIS 2005 file that crashes Visual Studio 2005 on my workstation. This happens when I open the data flow diagram and Visual Studio attempts to validate the package. I can open it successfully on another computer though. The package itself is fairly simple and only has two control flow tasks and maybe ten tasks in the data flow. I'm wondering if there is a tool that goes through the XML in the dtsx file and repairs any issues or if this is even necessary. The dtsx file is about 171 kB and it seems like there's a lot in it considering what a simple package it is.

  Hello. I want to handle following scenarios in my new web application. If multiple users log into the application with same credentials, the application should deny access. Since I have out of process session store, I would be able to make out when this situation happens. So I can deny all requests after first successful attempt. This will however not work if the user instead of logging out of the application, closes the browser. The session will continue to reflect in the store for the period of timeout value. If a user attempts to open a new browser windows (Ctrl+N), the application should defeat this attempt. Every new page can potentially fiddle with cookies. I want to therefore deny the users the ability to open new window.

• IE8 AJAX GET setRequestHeaders not working unless params provided in URL

In IE8 however, all of my AJAX test requests work EXCEPT for ones where I'm performing GETs without any query string params (such as the one above). POSTs work without question, and GET requests only work whenever I include query strings in the URL, like this: xhr.open( 'GET', '/ajax/?foo=bar' ) I'm also 110% positive that my server code is handling these requests appropriately, so, this stumps me completely. Does anyone have any clue as to what might be causing this?
