  • Windows 7 Ultimate files to Iso

    So i had copied my windows 7 files from an installation disc to a flash disk which i had made bootable to format a mini laptop with no DVD drive, then by mistake broke the installation disc but still have the files in the flash disc, i want to burn them into another disk. Have tried burning them as data but wont work in some systems...so how can i get to create a bootable disc / disc iso image? I rily need help ASAP**

  • OS won’t boot during Visual Studio 2010 install on vista 64

    I am installing Visual Studio 2010 on a vista 64 bits machine. During the install it asked for a restart. Since that, vista won't load. I tried restore to previous good configuration - didn't help. I am only able to boot it using safe mode with networking. When I did that, it continued the vista part of the install (the screen with the 3 out of 3 updates) but after that when I restarted again - still fails.

  • KDE global hotkeys not working any more

    Since I installed to KDE 4.4.x I lost any "global accelerator" facility, including Alt-Tab, Alt-F1 and Ctrl-F1-F4 which of course renders the whole experience a lot… slower. Upgrading later to KDE 4.5.5 didn't help either. I'm running FreeBSD 8.1/amd64 and, as far as I can see, kglobalaccel is working: % qdbus org.kde.kglobalaccel /component/kwin org.kde.kglobalaccel.Component.isActive true Any idea what else I could check to debug the issue?

    I have been searching for a way, script, rain dance, to automate the restore of several BESR 8.5 created images (v2i file extension). Does anyone have any experience on how to pull this off? I have tried Ghost Solution Suite 2.5, but it doesn't seem to work with images that are password protected. Any help, tool, 3rd party program, etc, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Manually, I would: run screen enter command CTRL+A CTRL+C enter command CTRL+A CTRL+D How can I do this automatically in a script? A simple example would help me a lot. Thank you for replies.

    I am trying to set up Opennebula. I want to set up my local host so that I can log into my remote host without having to use the password. I have followed the instructions in the "Secure Shell Access" section in the installation instructions. I can not log into my remote host from my local host, but I can log into my local host from my remote host. Not sure what's going on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • Reinstallation of Ubuntu

    When I tried to re install Ubuntu 11.10, I wanted to erase the existing Ubuntu using gparted editor/ something else icon in Ubuntu. I found it was not detecting any existing partition. Then when I googled and used gparted editor I found it was showing unallocated space of entire hard disk space. However I am able to boot to Ubuntu normally and when I use disk utilities I am able to access and see all partitions. Please help me to solve my issue

I can't do ssh public key login to my server and I think this issue is related to the fact my home is using cryptography which set the permissions to 700 on /home/MY-USER I've tried another workstation and everything works fine. I would be glad if someone help me to get out this without revert the cryptography.

    I have 2TB of WD external hard drive. I use windows Vista 32x. on DELL laptop Latitude D630 and connect through USB cable. When I transfer from my C drive to external hard drive it transfer only 3KB/sec. It take 30min to transfer 6MB. It is useless at the moment. Can anyone help me how to speed up please.   • Is there a fix for Windows 8 Release Preview freezing intermittently on Macbook Air

    I've successfully installed Windows 8 x64 Release Preview on a 2010 Macbook Air (4GB/256GB). I was also able to install the Apple Boot Camp tools without incident, but the computer will intermittently freeze up completely (need a forced shutdown) for no apparent reason. As such, there is no logging information to help me troubleshoot this any further. I have no other software installed at this point; only the latest updates from Microsoft. Any ideas?

    i have this weird problem that i'm not sure is specific to me, but more of a windows 7 or Lenovo laptop, so any help would be appreciable. the problem is as follows: Whenever i use skype, msn or any other thing that make noise, the speakers are muted automatically and i need to press the mute/unmute button to re-enable the sound.   • Exchange 2003 very reliant of 1 on 4 AD servers, Freezes without it

    On-site we have 3 of 4 AD servers (AD1,AD2 and AD4) with AD1 having most of the Operational Master Roles, however when AD2 goes down, freezes or reboots outlook says 'waiting for exchange server AD2', when exchange is on a different box completely. AD4 was just built from scratch and added hoping to get around this reliance on AD2 but it doesn't seem to have any effect, had a look through exchange settings and couldn't find any locations it points to AD2 and no other active directory servers. Would appreciate some help on the matter, Thank You

  • Mac has IP address, can connect to router but can't connect outside

    Weird problem, my MacBook can't connect anywhere right now! The router works, it gets an IP, it can log into to the router but it can't resolve anything! The router works as I connected another device to it and it connected to the net. The MacBook doesn't have any strange DNS configurations either, just 192.168.1.1 for the router I even tried tethering it to my phone, and it still would not connect to the net... help?

    Hi I've just finished installing Visual Studio 2010 professional onto Vista. But don't seem to have Silverlight 4. If I try to create a new project I can see Silverlight project templates but only seem to be able to target Silverlight 3. Is Silverlight 4 not part of vs2010 pro by default? I also noticed the msbuild targets is missing ie the v4.0 folder doesn't exist at the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\ Any help/thoughts would be much appreciated.   • Wampserver not working in Windows 8

    I recently upgraded my Windows 7 to Windows 8 successfully. Other application are working perfectly except wampserver. When I double click on the desk top icon, it shows red on the tray bar and then the color changes but when I click Start All Services, nothing happens. Localhost does not open in webbrowser. Skype is not running on my computer, i don't know if there is other application using the same port in Win8. Please help!
