  • Problem sending email with Codeigniter - Headers sent in the message body

    Having a strange issue with the email class in codeigniter. When I send email directly to my gmail account email address, it works fine. However if I send email to a different email address and use POP3 to import that email address into gmail, then for some reason all the headers are included in the message.   • How can I run a local Windows Application and have the output be piped into the Browser.

    I have Windows Application (.EXE file is written in C and built with MS-Visual Studio), that outputs ASCII text to stdout. I’m looking to enhance the ASCII text to include limited HTML with a few links. I’d like to invoke this application (.EXE File) and take the output of that application and pipe it into a Browser. This is not a one time thing, each new web page would be another run of the Local Application! The HTML/java-script application below has worked for me to execute the application, but the output has gone into a DOS Box windows and not to pipe it into the Browser. And with or without this change the _show partial is not render and the above error is given. Not really that good with Javascript any help would be great! P.s.     i have a function who's job is to convert an ADO Recordset into html: class function RecordsetToHtml(const rs: _Recordset): WideString; And the guts of the function involves a lot of wide string concatenation: while not rs.EOF do begin Result := Result+CRLF+ '<TR>'; for i := 0 to rs.Fields.Count-1 do Result := Result+'<TD>'+VarAsString(rs.Fields[i].Value)+'</TD>'; Result := Result+'</TR>'; rs.MoveNext; end; With a few thousand results, the function takes, what any user would feel, is too long to run. The Delphi Sampling Profiler shows that 99.3% of the time is spent in widestring concatenation (@WStrCatN and @WstrCat). Can anyone think of a way to improve widestring concatenation? i don't think Delphi 5 has any kind of string builder. And Format doesn't support Unicode. And to make sure nobody tries to weasel out: pretend you are implementing the interface: IRecordsetToHtml = interface(IUnknown) function RecordsetToHtml(const rs: _Recordset): WideString; end; Update One I thought of using an IXMLDOMDocument, to build up the HTML as xml.     I have this: $("a.money").colorbox({href:$("a.money").attr("href")+" div#content"}); Which opens an overlay but only of the content within the #content selector. If I add iframe:true, this will no longer work. Is there a way to get it to work with an iframe? However, this led me to another problem I realized. Assuming I got this to work without the alert, it will only work for that initial page. For example, if I loaded up a form in the iframe, after submitting the form, I would once again see the whole layout instead of just the #content portion. Is it possible to continue only showing the #content portion of the page upon further navigation?

You need to add a Facelets runtime to the project's classpath".     We have an administrative portal that our teachers constantly forget to download their latest PDF instructions before logging out and/or closing the browser window. I have looked around but can't find what I'm looking for. I want to accomplish the following goals: Goal 1 Before a user can close the browser window, they are prompted "Did you remember to download your form?" with two options, yes/no. If yes, close, if no, return to page. Goal 2 Before a user can click the 'logout' button, they are prompted with the same as above.   • I can't get datepicker to work

    Hi, I need a field that displays the datepicker. I followed the example given by the JQuery UI documentation and haven't managed to get it to work.   • Lazy loading the addthis script? (or lazy loading external js content dependent on already fired eve

    I want to have the addthis widget available for my users, but I want to lazy load it so that my page loads as quickly as possible. However, after trying it via a script tag and then via my lazy loading method, it appears to only work via the script tag. In the obfuscated code, I see something that looks like it's dependent on the DOMContentLoaded event (at least for firefox). Since the DOMContentLoaded event has already fired, the widget doesn't render properly. What to do? I could just use a script tag (slower)... or could I fire (in a cross browser way) the DOMContentLoaded (or equivalent) event? I have a feeling this may not be possible b/c I believe that (like jQuery) there are multiple tests of the content ready event, and so multiple simulated events would have to occur. Nonetheless, this is an interesting problem b/c I have seen a couple widgets now assume that you are including their stuff via static script tags. It would be nice if they wrote code that was more useful to developers concerned about speed, but until then, is there a work around?? And/or are any of my assumptions wrong? Edit: Because the 1st answer to the question seemed to miss the point of my problem, I wanted to clarify the situation. This is about a specific problem. I'm not looking for yet another lazy load script or check if some dependencies are loaded script. Specifically this problem deals with external widgets that you do not have control over and may or may not be obfuscated delaying the load of the external widgets until they are needed or at least, til substantially after everything else has been loaded including other deferred elements b/c of the how the widget was written, precludes existing, typical lazy loading paradigms While it's esoteric, I have seen it happen with a couple widgets - where the widget developers assume that you're just willing to throw in another script tag at the bottom of the page. I'm looking to save those 500-1000 ms** though as numerous studies by yahoo, google, and amazon show it to be important to your user's experience. **My testing with hammerhead and personal experience indicates that this will be my savings in this case.

  • Conflict between two Javascripts (MailChimp validation etc. scripts & jQuery hSlides.js)

    I have two scripts running on the same page, one is the jQuery.hSlides.js script http://www.jesuscarrera.info/demos/hslides/ and the other is a custom script that is used for MailChimp list signup integration. The hSlides panel can be seen in effect here: http://theatricalbellydance.com. I've turned off the MailChimp script because it was conflicting with the hSlides script, causing it not to to fail completely (as seen here http://theatricalbellydance.com/home2/). Can someone tell me what could be done to the hSlides script to stop the conflict with the MailChimp script?
