    I need to create a Bash script to go into every user's home folder, seek out a wp-content folder, create a directory uploads under it, and then chmod 0756 uploads. How do I achieve this? I imagine I need to use find with a regexp/regex, and then tell it to run another bash script on the results.

  • Create tunnel through an open SSH connection?

    I have a remote PC (behind NAT and firewall) set up to create a reverse SSH tunnel to my home PC/server (DMZed). Unfortunately, the tunnel hasn't been working lately. Fortunately -- I think -- the remote PC currently has an SFTP session open to the local one. My question is, can I create a tunnel back to the remote PC through that session? Or am I SOL until I can physically get in to restore the reverse tunnel on the remote PC?

I have been able to successfully use ffmpeg to stream to other RTMP servers like youtube, but how do I go about hosting my own on my RTMP server locally? I have tried looking into ffserver, but is this what I need to create a local RTMP server? If so could someone give me basic syntax or examples to get it working? Thanks for any information.

  • How to create multiple SOAP webservice clients in same netbeans 6.8 project

    I have a project that is largely just to help one application make connections to an SAP server, for real-time updates. So the first web service client works fine, but I try to create a second and it seems to hang and I expect part of the problem is that it is trying to create a new Service class, but the namespace for all the webservices are identical, but the wsdl is obviously different, so it can't create the client. I can do it manually, by just having Service1, Service2, etc, or making some other change, but the issue is that Netbeans should be able to do this easily. I can't use Eclipse as the wsimport parameters that Netbeans uses works, in Eclipse I would need to do too much to make it work, so I will go with the easier tool. I don't want to create a new project for each webservice, as that just seems to be perpetuating a design error. So, how can I easily create multiple webservice clients that will all have the same target namespace, using Netbeans 6.8+?

I can do the following: create table test_type_table ( test_type_field test_type ); This gives me a table with one column, test_type_field. Is there an easy and automated way to instead create a table such that it has 2 columns, f1 and f2?. So that it's the equivilent to writing: create table test_type_table ( f1 varchar2(10), f2 number(5) );

    I have several chrooted users on my server, and I want to install git for specific users. I block at the command : git config --global user.name "user_name" I use this command connected as the user, and I got this error : error: could not lock config file /home/username/.gitconfig: Permission denied I tried to create the file from root, and then put chmod 755 and chown username .gitconfig, but I get the error.     Let's say I needed to make a series of String[] objects. I know that if i wanted to make a string array called "test" to hold 3 Strings I could do String[] test = new String[3]; But let's say I needed to make a series of these arrays and I wanted them to be named, 1,2, 3, 4, 5... etc. For however many I needed and I didn't know how many I'd need. How do I achieve a similar effect to this: for (int k=0; k=5; k++){ String[] k = new String[3]; } Which would created 5 string arrays named 1 through 5. Basically I want to be able to create array objects with a name detemined by some other function. Why can't I seem to do this? Am I just being stupid?

    I start emacs server using emacs --daemon then open files using emacsclient filename.ext but the first file has to be opened using emacsclient -c filename.ext in order to create a new frame which can be later used by subsequent files without using -c command line flag for emacsclient. I want to automate this. "if there is no emacs frame, emacsclient should create a frame else it should use the current frame". How can it be done?

  • IIS Manager won't let me create an application

    Had a thing at work today on a Windows Server 2003 box. In IIS Manager I'm trying to create an application for a directory. So I've brought up the properties dialog and clicked the "Create" button and it did absolutely nothing - no error, the application name box stays greyed out and there's no gear icon on the folder. Also there was no event log message. Has anyone seen this happen or know of a solution?

    I'm a newbie to Xen, and I've recently installed Xen 4.2 by sources on my system. I've found a strange thing I've a VM when I start it via the command "xm create machine.cfg" all work fine, but if I use "xl create machine.cfg" it gives me the following error xc: error: panic: xc_dom_core.c:442: xc_dom_alloc_segment: segment ramdisk too large (0x4ba 0x2000 - 0x1bd9 pages): Out of memory libxl: error: libxl_dom.c:208:libxl__build_pv xc_dom_build_image failed: Invalid argument cannot (re-)build domain: -3 xenconsole: Could not read tty from store: No such file or directory What could be the problem?
