  • Is there any way to force an iPhone application to relaunch?

    - by Jared P
    Basically -[UIApplication openURL:] would be perfect, if it wasn't for the fact that it doesn't work within the same application (at least on simulator -- if this works on device someone please tell me). It's not a super big deal though if it just relaunches w/o URLness since I can obviously just persist some data. The goal of this is to

  • How compliant is SIP VoIP software on the net?

    - by rusbi
    I developed a SIP stack for my company. It's far from perfect, a it's lacking a lot of things from the RFCs, but it's functional and work well with a lot of tested softphones and other SIP hardware and software. My question is: How much of SIP software can truly say that they are entirely SIP compliant? (Of the softphones you can find on

  • How do i render and detect a line of sight?

    - by acidzombie24
    If you look at the top right you'll see on a radar an enemy unit line of sight. I was wondering what is the most efficient or easiest way (little code, fairly accurate. doesnt need to be perfect) to detect if something is in your line of sight? I may or may not need to render it (i likely wont). I dont know the formula nor used any math

    - by Nikhil
    In the following code, when the ctor of X is called will the ctor of A or B be called first? Does the order in which they are placed in the body of the class control this? If somebody can provide a snippet of text from the C++ standard that talks about this issue, that would be perfect. class A; class B; class X { private: A a; B b; }

    - by ultan o'broin
    Unfortunately, I am old enough to remember, and now to admit that I really loved, the movie Top Gun. You know the one - Tom Cruise, US Navy F-14 ace pilot, Mr Maverick, crisis of confidence, meets woman, etc., etc. Anyway, one of more memorable lines (there were a few) was: "I feel the need, the need for speed."
