    Is there any existing software which can help enforce code review process like below: Dev user commit their changeset with proper comments, but the changeset does not goes into subversion repository directly, it will be pending in a "review software". Reviewer can see all pending changesets in the "review software", review the changeset and decide whether to allow the change into the code trunk. The dev user will receive notification either his changeset was accepted and merged into code trunk, or was rejected.

  • richfaces 3.3.3 problem with ie6

    Hi everyone, I am working using richfaces 3.3.3 , tomcat 6. when i try to access my application using IE6 and the windows language is set to arabic, i get the following exception: IllegalArgumentException: Parameter "size" for convert from HTML to java can not be decoded: [1px], reason: Unparseable number: "1px". when i change the windows language back to english, restart the server and try to log in again everything works fine.. Can anybody please help me with this issue

    I've made a new class in my Xcode project which is derived from UITableView I then drag a UITableView from in the interface builder onto my view and change the class of the object to my derived class. Then I drag the outlet from the table to the files owner and hook it up to an outlet variable in my main view, which is of the same type as my derived class. How do I also set up the datasource and delegate so that they belong to the derived class?

    I have a site and already trying to do a little url rewritting but want to know if there is a solution to make it better my current state urls look like this http://snit.us/Home/tabid/314/CN/1/RE/23/United_States_Missouri.aspx I want to change them to something more ordered so in my new scheme i want to do this http://snit.us/Home/United_States/Missouri/default.aspx obviously the point is that if i remove missouri from the new url it would find all United_States - etc etc etc even better would be to have http://snit.us/Home/United_States/Missouri so its even less cluttered

I currently have a warning if the user enters something that is not valid (data validation), but I want to change the cell's background color to red if invalid, or green if valid. So I want only the first-level list which has class has_child to be modified the href to "#" I can't alter output anymore because it's in the PHP code. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi. Why is it better to store data inside an appSettings element (or inside a custom section) of a web.config file than to store it in a class? One argument would be that by using custom sections we don’t have to recompile code when we change data, but that’s a weak argument, especially if we’re using Web Sites, which get recompiled automatically whenever code changes!     I build some dlls to be used in a big application, and have a team working in the dlls heart of the application and another team working in the gui, but i am having a problems in the deployment of the dll's when a change is done, because the gui team needs or copy the new dll to the project folder, or delete the old reference and add the new one. Is there a best practice to deal with this problem? I am using Visual Studio 2008 and devoloping int VB and C# Thanks !!!

  • MySQL app with Cassandra in mind

    I am planning to make a web app which will eventually use Cassandra. But now that I don't have it and don't have server(s) to run it from, I'd like to start by using MySQL. The question is, is it possible to structure data and queries in such a way that it would be fairly easy to later port it to Cassandra? Main idea, I guess, would be writing MySQL queries that would be possible to change to same Cassandra queries. Maybe you have a better suggestion?

  • Can I clear a webapp in Chrome?

    I've written a webapp that has a manifest that includes all the javascript and images that it requires. Unfortunately, even when I change the manifest file, it doesn't seem to reload the javascript. Is there a way to delete the webapp completely from Chrome? Clearing the browser cache doesn't seem to work. I'm running Chrome 5.0.375.55 on a Mac. Any help very gratefully received.

    Dear SO family, I have created an iframe which contains the label, "powered by MyWebsite.site" The "iframe itself" accepts arguments, so other webmasters may customize the appearance of it. The problem is that since the background of the iframe could be customized, anyone can "vanish" the "powered by MyWebsite.site". So what option do i have? How should i dynamically change the label color depending on any background?

  • Specify ApplicationName when using ASP.NET Web Site Administration Tool

    This tool is supposed to configure users and roles etc., but when I use it on a new web site, with a new aspnetdb database, it adds a record to the aspnet_Applications table with the ApplicationName and the LoweredApplicationName fields set to /. I think it would make more sense if it actually used the application name, i.e. the web site name. Can I safely just change the application name? Is there a better way of configuring these things?

I have registered keyup event but I have to release the arrow up key in order to change the value, What I want is if User pressed up arrow key then it will increment the value until user release up arrow key and same for the down arrow key.   • Writing direct to disk with php

    I would like to create an upload script that doesn't fall under the php upload limit. There might be an occasion where I need to upload a 2GB, or larger file and I don't want to have to change the whole server execution to above 32MB. Is there a way to write direct to disk from php? What method might you propose someone would use to accomplish this? I have read around stack overflow but haven't quite found what I am looking to do.

  • mysql select column from view problem

    i create a view table like : CREATE VIEW ViewManager AS SELECT us.UserId AS 'Account Manager', ......... after that, when i run a query to select data from this view like : SELECT 'Account Manager' , .. from ViewManager then the data i get in this column is the text 'Account Manager' and not the value of the this columns. Is there a way to solve this ? Of course I can change the field name , but i want to know if there is another solution, thanks.

    I have actually one app with a SQLite DB and i port this at the moment to the ipad. My idea is a sync between iPad and iPhone for one table... But the Problem is "Person A" edit/change, create or delete a data record on iphone and "Person B" make the same or delete the edited record from Person A on the same time. Has anybody a idea for this? Or a nice lib for this?

    I am using Netbeans 6.1 and Tomcat 6.0.1.6. I made some very minor changes to a project that had been working and now I am getting the following error: com.sun.rave.web.ui.appbase.ApplicationException: org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Could not add one or more tag libraries. The only change I made was to a backing bean method, no new UI components, jsp, etc. Any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Now i want to ignore the database (it has 1 table as customer(name,password,hour,minute)) as i dont want my client to install sqlserver separately or other overheads.
