  here is a little trick to debug the JavaScript inside Visual studio or express edition of VWD get all included office updates  from Microsoft updates install them. enable the script debugger for IE or others inside internet explorer go to IE > internet options > advance > browsing open a website in Visual studio or express put the breakpoint in JavaScript code and run them after setting as default browser internet explorer. when the breakpoint function called he automatically show you all about the code you breakpoint. you can also change them and find the result in browser. for advance debugging their are many option already known in visual studio work same as C# debugging like Advanced Window, Local  , watch you can use all these 3 window for JavaScript debugging.

  I developed many applications with registered user access for my enterprise clients. In many years I have changed my way of doing it, specially because I used many programming languages and database types along time. Some of them not very simple as view, create and/or edit permissions for each module in the application, or light as access or can't access certain module. But now that I am developing a very extensive application with many modules and many kinds of users to access them, I was wondering if there is an standard model for doing it, because I already see that's the simple or the light way won't be enough.

• Master Typing Productivity when Programming/SysAdmin [closed]

  I try to learn how to type fast and have managed to learn a lot. I am quite good at typing english text now. I do a lot of programmation though and if QWERTY seems fitted for english text, it doesn't seem fitted to type Ruby, Python, Javascript, Command Line or C++... I have read plenty of articles and if I respect their guidelines/tips, I am using a lot my right pinky specially to type []{}|\;:'"/?=+ enter delete. As you can see this symbols are the ones which are the most used when you are programming and we are using only one weak finger to reach them. Am I learning wrong? Is there is a way to be more productive? (I don't really want to switch to DVORAK) Have you some experiences/tips to share regarding this issue?   I am learning ASP.Net and I am confusing between ASP.Net WebPages, ASP.Net WebForms and ASP.Net MVC. I have read a lot of articles and known the simple difference of their functions, but I don't know the differences of their code. E.g: When I look at int* p = new int(); ... I know that it's C++ style. and Dim A as String it have to be Visual Basic. [?1] I'm not able to detect like that in ASP.Net. How do they different in codes?   Today Oracle announced the Oracle Java Embedded Suite 7.0. What is the Java Embedded Suite (JES)? It's a middleware stack designed to be run on embedded devices. It's a suite which includes an application server (Glassfish for Embedded Suite), database (Java DB), and web services (Jersey Web Services Framework). Putting these services on the embedded device gives you the ability to provide a set of services at the device point. It also lets you aggregate data at the device point, which you can later sync with your enterprise systems.

• Cannot get past login screen

  I have lubuntu 12.04, and it was working fine until I installed something and I do not remember exactly what I installed because I was trying to build a ruby gem and it required a lot. now I rebooted and I cannot log in, well, I can but when I do LXDE apparently cannot continue and returns to the login screen. I created another user from my console screen (I can login there), and the other user can login. So I removed my .* directories from my home directory, but it did not help. Any suggestions?

Also why C++ is mostly taught at schools whereas Java is a pure Object Oriented language(also language for making android apps)? Why not Objective C is being taught for making apps on the iPhone? • Continue with Java for pc or go to android? [on hold]

  so I have been learning java from Deitel's learn java 9th edition. I am up to GUI's and a have a pretty good grasp on OOP etc. I want to go straight to the mobile app development scene, I believe I will learn a fair bit there on using API's, and other tools to develop apps. I am not sure weather I should carry on with PC coding (GUI's etc etc) or skip it all and go direct to learning the Android SDK. So, should I carry on, learn about sockets, writing and reading files, GUI's for PC etc or get a book and jump into android? Thanks a lot guys.

EPM-specific instructions are available in Knowledge Management article 1304885.1. This RDA version incorporates two new modules (EAS=Essbase Administration Services; HWA=Hyperion Web Analysis) and improvements in modules and profiles relating to twelve other Hyperion applications (EPM, EPMA, ESS, FCM, HFM, HFR, HIR, HPL, HPSV, HSS, PR, and HSV). To follow best practice, run related RDA profiles [for example: "perl rda.pl -vnSCRPp Hyperion1112_EAS"] and attach the output zip file [by default in \rda\output\] to your service requests.   I think it will be awesome if after login the folder that locate not at the same localhost / can open it self like and application as skype and others. do we can make it because if this one works for it , it will help others people too that save musics and other file under the /home folder or the like me , i do need to click other partitions to listen songs and movie and other what i want is just single click when i do login. the partitions / folder / inode was open so i can simply click the Play button at the rhythmbox and click next just to watch the next edition of serial movies ^^ here the photos, i need this partition / hard disk to open while star up "almacén hard disk. thx out of context why do the Fn + F6 wont lock the mouse pad under the laptop i do using classics gnome ubuntu 1204.

  I'm a Rails developer doing TDD on a Mac with RSpec, Capybara and Selenium webdriver. Now I have been asked by my company to use this approach for a .NET on Windows environment. What is the best way of doing this? I could just install Ruby and use RSPEC, Capybara and Selenium webdriver for integration testing. But what about unit tests? I also looked at NSpec, but I'm not sure if I can combine that with Capybara or Selenium for integration tests. What would be a good approach here?

• 12.04 LTE wireless not working in Dell Insprion E1405

  i have the windows XP media edition running on my Dell Inspiron E1405 with all the hardware working properly. Recently i wipe out the windows and installed the Ubuntu 12.04 LTE using the CD and the installation process completed successfully but my wireless stopped working after. computer wireless indicator turned off and i can't even do the wired connection as well. it is Broadcom BCM4311 adapter. i tried to download the driver from the dell website but they don't have the Linux version of the driver if its that causing the problem. i appreciate your help that can solve my issue. thank you.

  If you're interested in using Ops Center, you'll want to get up and running as quickly and effectively as possible. One way to do this would be to work your way through the documentation library - use the Linux or Oracle Solaris install guides, then go through the Feature Guide and Admin Guide to start using the software. They're thorough, but they're a lot of reading. But if you're looking to install a simple deployment quickly, and you don't want to do all of the configuration work right off the bat, you can use the Quick Start Guide. It's a streamlined procedure that runs you through installing a single Enterprise Controller and co-located Proxy Controller, and then shows you how to discover assets quickly. Once you've discovered these assets, it describes how to use the analytics feature to view their performance, and use monitoring to keep track of their statuses and health. You'll have to do some additional configuration to use features like OS provisioning, OS updates, and virtualization, but the Quick Start guide gives you an overview of how to install and start using features quickly.

• Does using a PHP framework count as experience using PHP to a company that doesn't use that framework?

  I've started working at a company that uses the Yii PHP framework. I'm mostly using Yii but also some frontend stuff like jQuery and Ajax. What I'm worried about is limiting my skill set to a framework that isn't very popular. I mean, if the company I worked for was using Ruby on Rails or even Django, I wouldn't have this feeling of concern for the future. My first question is then, in regards to being able to find a job in the future somewhere else, is my feeling of concern warranted? Secondly, I see a lot of PHP jobs out there but do you think experience using a PHP framework counts as valuable experience to a company that doesn't use that particular framework or any framework at all?

• A good language for c# dev to expand his mind [closed]

  I have some free time on my hands and I was thinking about learning a new language. I do not plan to use it in my day-to-day job, but I rather want to expand my way of thinking to get a better sense where the dev world is heading from a language perspective and to don't get stuck in my way when programming by rather try new approaches. I was thinking either a functional language, like Haskell or F# (which is a bit more 'pragmatic from a .NET dev standpoint) or something dynamic (like Python, that in my oppinion has nicer syntax than Ruby). What can you recommend that is enjoyable, at least a bit practical, but most of all, new (from a c# dev perspective). I appreciate any answers.
