    I've read all over the Internet that I should not define fonts (or anything) with absolute pixel height/width/size and instead, use EM ... so that on higher resolution displays, my web site can scale appropriately. However, what do I use to define IMAGE height/width ... because images won't scale well (they look pixelated)

    I have a small jQuery mobile site. it's all single .html file it's has some edit functionality (view, edit, save) all works with ajax/json/web service Most of my pages are using data from web service, via AJAX & JSON, so I am using the following a lot: $(document).on( 'pagebeforecreate', '#monday', function() { // do some stuff on before create, load data with AJAX }); Now, how do I FORCE that page recreation (pagebeforecreate event) so the AJAX inside is run again (get the latest data from server)?

  • asp.net mvc 2 method not found

    When I run my asp.net mvc 2 site (shared hosting) I get the following error: Method not found: 'Void System.Web.Mvc.DataAnnotationsModelValidatorProvider.set_AddImplicitRequiredAttributeForValueTypes(Boolean)'. In the bin directory I have System.Web.Mvc.dll version 2.0.50217.0 On my local dev machine it runs fine. Is it possible that if the hosting provider has a different mvc 2 version installed it would cause this error? Thank you!

    hi helpful people, i'm trying to get my old blogger blog feed URL (/blog/atom.xml) to redirect to my new blog feed URL (/blog/feed). A regular 301 redirect didn't work, and the advice given on the wordpress site, which is: RewriteRule ^oldfeed.php(.*)? /wordpress/?feed=newfeed [QSA] isn't quite cutting it either - probably because i'm not sure how to adjust the code for oldfeed to accomodate a directory. or for some other reason entirely! A scenario could look like this: Url of the page embedding the SWF: www.example.com Url to the SWF: www.swf-domain.com/player.swf Url to the FLV: www.swf-domain.com/movie.flv Is there any possible way, that you can refer to the FLV from within the SWF using a relative path?
