    I want to publish a post to user's wall..for this first i am making user to log in and getting the session id also...but in order to publish i need the user to grant me publish_stream permission..so immmediately after i am obtaining auth_token by capturing url of the login success screen, i am making call to http://www.facebook.com/connect/prompt%5Fpermissions.php? with "api_key","ext_perm","display" as parameteres..but when the above url is redirected and displayed on BrowserField i am seeing "Incompatible web browser " instead of the permission granting dialog or popup..i will be greatful if anyone can help...thanx a lot

  • Using web view behind a proxy (cocoa)

    Hi, I'm creating a web-browser type app (using a web view object) that needs to be able to connect to the internet via a proxy. Server, port, username and password can all be hardcoded into the app but unfortunately I have no idea how to customise the proxy settings of a web view without changing the system wide proxy settings. If you know how to do this please provide some example code, thanks a lot! (Also, if it changes anything - I'm developing for mac, not iPhone)

  • Unable to checkout log4j repository

    I'm using tortoiseSVN to checkout the log4j v1.2 source from - http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/logging/log4j/trunk But i keep getting this error: Error: OPTIONS of '': Could not Error: resolve hostname `svn.apache.org': No such host is known. The funny thing is that i can access 'svn.apache.org' from my browser but if i try to ping it from the command prompt, it says host not found. Does any body else face this problem? Is there any other way to get the source for log4j v1.2?

Enable CIFS access to a cloud-server based installation of Alfresco Allow Eventual implementation of some form of single-sign-on ( OpenLDAP server ) access to Alfresco and other server applications implemented in the future Given: All Servers will live in the public internet cloud (Rackspace Cloud Servers) OpenVPN Server will be a Linux disto, probably Ubuntu 9.x, installed on same server as Alfresco (at least to start) Staff will access server applications and resources from client sites, hotels, trains, planes, coffee shops or their homes over various ISP, using their company laptops or personal home desktops.   • Build error with variables and url_for in Flask

    Have found one or two people on the interwebs with similar problems, but haven't seen a solution posted anywhere. I'm getting a build error from the code/template below, but can't figure out where the issue is or why it's occurring. It appears that the template isn't recognizing the function, but don't know why this would be occurring.   • Is using a StringBuilder for writing XML ok?

    It feels dirty. But maybe it isn't... is it ok to use a StringBuilder for writing XML? My gut instinct says "although this feels wrong, it's probably pretty darn performant because it's not loading extra libraries and overhead." Here's what it looks like.     When using the xhtml1-transitional.dtd doctype, collecting a credit card number with the following HTML <input type="text" id="cardNumber" name="cardNumber" autocomplete='off'/> will flag a warning on the W3C validator: there is no attribute "autocomplete". Is there a W3C / standards way to disable browser auto-complete on sensitive fields in a form?

I have set the MIME type on my server to be: cod application/vnd.rim.cod jad text/vnd.sun.j2me.app-descriptor jar application/java-archive When I access the JAD file on my web-server through the BlackBerry Browser, I get the message Unsupported Media Type and then a prompt to download the JAD. How can I resolve this?

  • Learning Objective-C: Need advice on populating NSMutableDictionary

    I am teaching myself Objective-C utilizing a number of resources, one of which is the Stanford iPhone Dev class available via iTunes U (past 2010 class). One of the home work assignments asked that I populate a mutable dictionary with a predefined list of keys and values (URLs). I was able to put the code together, but as I look at it, I keep thinking there is probably a much better way for me to approach what I'm trying to do: Populate a NSMutableDictionary with the predefined keys and values Enumerate through the keys of the dictionary and check each key to see if it starts with "Stanford" If it meets the criteria, log both the key and the value I would really appreciate any feedback on how I might improve on what I've put together.     The bit.ly info API returns URLs for thumbnail images. When I attempt to access these images, I receive an access denied error. How do you access the thumbnail images generated by bit.ly? EDIT: I am testing the image URL by taking the URL provided by the info API and using the browser to access. Bit.ly returns an Access Denied error code. Do I need to somehow provide the login and apikey?

    IE7/Windows XP I have a third party component in my page that does a lot of DOM manipulation to adjust itself each time the browser window is resized. Unfortunately I have little control of what it does internally and I have optimized everything else (such as callbacks and event handlers) as much as I can. I can't take the component off the flow by setting display:none because it fails measuring itself if I do so. In general, does setting visibility of the container to invisible during the resize help improve DOM rendering performance?

    What is the best way to redirect ANY browser to a different ip for specific sites? For example if the user will type www.facebook.com in any browser he will be redirected to 127.0.0.1. Also the same should happen if he will type 66.220.146.11. What I have until now is this: using the winpkfilter I am able to intercept all the traffic on port 80, with type(in or out), source ip, destination ip and packet. My problem is to modify somehow the packet so the browser will be redirected.   • Don't Allow link generates a 500 Internal Error

    I'm developing an application for Facebook using the iframe mode and ASP.NET. I'm able to use the new OAuth method that combines the allow and the extended permissions. When I click on the Allow everything works as expected, but when I click on the "Don't Allow" I get a 500 internal error.
