  lets say I have an embedded Excel Spreadsheet on a Microsoft Access form. I call the object frame ExcelFrame and I add a text box on the form called txtA1 and I add a button on the form called cmdInsert I want to type "Hello World" into the text box, click the button and have it appear in the A1 cell on that spreadsheet. • In Excel, VBA - How can we lock resizing of a rectangle

  I have an excel sheet that contains two rectangles and text in other cells. I need to allow users to only edit the text in the rectangle. They should not be able to change the size of the object. Applying lock on the rectangle locks the object as well as the text. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Range Y = X.Range[2,3]; But what should I do to perform the inverse operation, ie: I have two Range objects, A and B, and I would like to find out by how many rows/columns B is offset from A. Then the counter function should return 4. Does VBA contain any built-in functions for this, or does someone have an example of a regular expression that could calculate this?

  I am accessing excel with C++ and add-ins are being loaded. Everything we load the add-in programatically, the user has to click ok when the add-in is unloaded and loaded. Some users have complained that this can be as much as 20 times for a "run." How can I programatically suppress the add-in confirmation messages? NOTE: excelApplication SetDisplayAlerts(FALSE) does not suppress the confirmation messages.
