  • Reading a SquashFS archive

    (SquashFS is a compressed filesystem - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SquashFS) I'm looking for a way to read a SquashFS filesystem from a program. So far, I've know about the in-kernel drivers for it, but I'm sure that a userspace library for it must exist somewhere. Any language would be fine, but C is preferred. Just mounting the filesystem and using it that way is technically possible, but I'd rather avoid that route because the application I'm looking at would involve working with at least a few dozen archives at any given time.

  • apt-mirror - Changing source mirror creates new folder for downloads

    I have a local Ubuntu mirror running on ubuntu 10.04 in my office which uses archive.ubuntu.com to download updates and releases. I have been running this mirror since Ubuntu's Hardy Heron release. It downloads everything under /export/ubuntu-repo1/apt-mirror/mirror/archive.ubuntu.com/ folder. Recently I came to know that the mirror in India i.e. in.archive.ubuntu.com is a lot faster for me than http://archive.ubuntu.com which is based in UK. Therefore to download latest release QUANTAL QUETZAL I configured Indian mirror in /etc/apt/mirror.list After making this change and leaving apt-mirror to run overnight I found that it downloaded everything to a new folder called "in.archive.ubuntu.com" so now I have two folders where apt-mirror downloads updates. /export/ubuntu-repo1/apt-mirror/mirror/archive.ubuntu.com/ /export/ubuntu-repo1/apt-mirror/mirror/in.archive.ubuntu.com/ Now, since apache does not have "in.archive.ubuntu.com" configured, Ubuntu clients are unable to access QUANTAL QUETZAL release and its updates. My question is: Is there a way I could copy everything downloaded under "in.archive.ubuntu.com" to "archive.ubuntu.com" so all new updates of the latest release become accessible to Ubuntu clients? Secondly, Can I configure apt-mirror to download everything to archive.ubuntu.com even using Indian mirror? Thanks a lot for your help in advance. I Kazi

I would like both ID's to be unique (between the tables as well) - I mean, I would like to save auto incremenet, and if I UNION both table I still have uniqness. How can I do that? At this stage I've really only made the changes necessary to integrate with the data from my application. If I build and run the SBSendMail example after freshly downloading it from Apple the message background is also changed to black with execution of the same line. It does not appear to matter which type of file is attached, where it is located, or on which computer or operating system is used. This could be a bug in Apple's scripting bridge but has anyone come across this problem and found a solution?   • Question about mail merge in DesignPro 1.0.1 for mac

    I'm using Avery DesignPro v. 1.0.1 for mac to print out address labels using a mail merge. There are two columns for addresses (Address1 and Address2), but for most of the entries on the list, Address2 is blank. When I do the mail merge, I get several address labels with a blank line between Address1 and the City, State line because there's no Address2 for those entries. Does anyone know of a way to get DesignPro to ignore Address2 completely if there's no value there, or will I have to go through and manually edit each label to delete the extra blank line?

Sure, this does not guarantee that delivery will be working, but at least to check that entered server/username/pass are valid. I can see one tricky way: try to send the email with cfmail and check the mail log. But I believe that it can be done with more elegant. Is there any Java library available with standard ACF/Railo distro to help me? How would I use them? Examples are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Please don't be confused with Java tag present. Solution needed in CFML. Though it can use some Java libraries, if applicable.

    Hi, I have used an open source code from codeproject to read email from incoming mail server(POP Server). My objective of using this code was to retrieve emails from POP server and process them. My problem is: If i use gmails pop server "pop.gmail.com" and run the appplication. I get only those emails that i have not retrieved since the last time i run the application. but if i use my clients pop server everytime i run the application i get all the emails in the pop server. for example: If i use gmail pop server: pop.gmail.com I have three emails in the pop server. I haven't run the application. I am running the application for the first time. Application reads the email, this time i will get 3 all the three email. I run the application second time, my application will not read any emails this time because i have already read the 3 existing one. This is fine, this is what i want. Now i send email to pop.gmail.com. I run the application again for the third time, this time i will only get the email that has just arrived that is the fourth one. This is good behaviour, this is what i want. But if i use my clients pop server: No matter how many times i run the application, it reads all the emails in the mail box. This will create problem for me, because i am thinking of building a window service that will read emails from pop server and process them. This service will run continuously. I will process emails in the pop serve then sleep for let's say 1 minute and the process the emails again. If the application downloaded from codeproject reads all the emails all the time, my clients mailbox can have like thousands for email in this mail box, so this would not be feasible for me. Is there some settings that is to be made at my client's pop server that will allow my application to retrieve only those emails that i have not read since last time i run the service or any help Please help, thanks,

  • setting up log4j for gmail, does not recognize System.setProperty("mail.smtps.port", "587")

    Hi I am trying to setup a smtpappender for log4j using gmail as the smtp host. I have read that the port number needs to be 465 or 587 (depending on tls or ssl) and that log4j for some reason doesnt allow a different port to be set inside log4j.properties configuration file. I have read that the best way of doing this would be to use System.setProperty which would change the default javaxmail port to gmail. However when I try to set the System.property entries the the default port still remains as 25 System.setProperty("mail.smtp.starttls.enable", "true"); System.setProperty("mail.smtp.port", "587"); I was wondering if someone could help me out, I am open to suggestions, I just need to smtpAppender to work for gmail, dont really care how to get it to work. For example: I write an email to [email protected] with subject "ADD LINE 10" and sending it the mail body is inserted into myfile which is hosted on a server of someservice.ext. Same for "DELETE LINE 12" or "SUBSTITUTE LINE 15". If I write "ECHO FILE" or something similar, the service should send me an email with the updated content of the text file. Does it exist?
