  On my HP laptop the WMI Provider Host was consuming 25% of my CPU.  This just started one day.  The offending process ended up being the HP Wireless Assistant Service, which is not needed as Win7 provides WiFi services. To turn it off: On your desktop right-click on Computer and select Manage Select Services and Applications and double click Services Right click on the HP Wireless Assistant Service and select Properties Change the Startup Type to Manual

  I am searching console for windows 7 which have memory of typed commands which is stored when I close the cmd prompt. I got frustrated when I have to type again paths with commands, I'm developing for android and I use adb so you can know it can be quite a lot of commands to issue. Other workarounds would be appreciated. Open source or freeware prefed. I have, Console2 (don't store commands), git bash (can't work with that, have some paths issues).

• Some lenses not working in 12.04

  I have just started experimenting with extra lens in Unity. I installed some that I found listed in an AskUbuntu question. Some of them don't seem to work. The "Cooking" lens is supposed to show recipes, but I just get a blank result - nothing is found. I have another lens which I assume is the youtube lens I installed, that sits and searches forever when I switch to it, and even type a search into it.

  There seems to be an aversion to writing even the most basic documentation. Our project READMEs are relatively bare. There aren't even updated lists of dependencies in the docs. Is there something I'm unaware of in the industry that makes programmers dislike writing documentation? I can type out paragraphs of docs if needed, so why are others so averse to it?   I'm running 13.04 on Asus UL30A Process: Genuine Intel® CPU U7300 @ 1.30GHz × 2 Graphics: Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset OS type: 64-bit Everything completely freezes after every other a boot or suspend. No keyboard or mouse. It happens every other time. It freezes, I reboot and it works work. Next time I will reboot, it will freeze again. This never happened with 12.10. Scenario Support we have page_two and manufacturers tables in database and the table DDL is: SQL> desc page_two; Name NULL? Each token represent a valid ID in manufacturers table. My expectation is to delete invalid token strings from page_two.multilist04, which have no mapping id in manufacturers.id. For example in below SQL result: ,6295728,33,6295729,6295730,6295731,22, , value 33 and 22 are invalid data because there is no ID equals to 33 or 22 in manufacturers table. So I need to delete 33 and 22. When it get each multilist04 value, it uses above Split function to get each token string stored to singValue variant, then check if it exists in manufacturers.id. If not found, set fixFlag to 1, pending to be deleted.

• Motion is saving images to home directory

  I was interested in setting up a home security network. I installed Motion in Ubuntu 12.04 and it worked fine. Then the next day I went to play around with it some more but the images are not being saved to /tmp/motion as the configuration file states, but to the home directory: [1] File of type 1 saved to: ./01-20121126211634-12.jpg Any idea if there is another setting that has more priority than the motion config file?
