  In photoshop, I recently learned how to create actions, and how to do them in batches (for example, execute them on a folder of 1000 files). What I need to know is this: How can I SAVE THE BATCH PROCESS? I need to save all the settings with which I perform the batch process, so I can easily perform the exact same batch process, again.   I have Windows Server 2008r2 and a Windows XP SP3 client machine in Active Directory. My problem is that I've installed the printer on the windows server and shared it, the permissions are right, but when i try to connect to that printer from the windows xp client, it throws the following errer: "You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer". Again, the permissions are right. I think I'm missing something that I couldn't find on the web. :( please help!

• MySQL Master-Master replication generating thousands of log files

  Today, I checked the /var/lib/mysql/ directory of a server in a master-master replication setup and noticed there were about 3,600 slave-relay.00xxxx files in there (where "xxxx" is an incrementing integer). They appear to be binary log files and don't take up much space (only about 42K), but are they an indication that something is wrong? They range in date from August until today with about 25 per day. • Uninstalling a program doesn't remove shortcuts from Start menu

  This problem started very recently after a system restore. Each time I uninstall a program, it uninstalls correctly but the shortcuts remain in the Start menu. I can easily delete them by right-clicking on them, but it is an irritant and I was wondering why this is hapenning. I tried changing the permissions on C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs but it did not help. What else can I try? I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.

  I am wondering if there is any way of easily creating a zip file that contains a bunch of files. However, when I double-click to open this zip file, I do not want it to create a subdirectory with the same name as the zip file, I just want all of the files to be extracted into the directory where the zip files is stored. Is there a certain flag I can add in terminal to do this, or any program that does this. Thanks for your help!

  I need to FTP in from one server to another If I FTP using my local PC using Krusader I'm able to FTP into the server but if I ssh into one server and I'm trying to FTP to the server using the same ftp credentials I get message [Resolving host address...] I know this address is correct since I can ping it from the server I use the following command lftp 'open -u username,password server' If I use the same command to ftp to a different server it works. Any help advise will be greatly appreciated.

  I frequently save pages as PDF from Chrome on OSX. The page is apple-P then click the PDF button and the "Save as PDF.." menu item. I always use the pre-filled filename and save in the default directory. Is it possible to save this as an automator script?   I'm unable to hit my server from a browser on another machine (it gives a 'connection has timed out' error), although typing http://localhost or http://my-ip-here works from the browser within the machine.
