• NTP daemon or ntpdate doesn't synchronize

  I'm having some problems with synchronization with an NTP server. 1) The NTP daemon doesn't sync the system clock at all, even though it's running (confirmed with /etc/init.d/ntp status).   Mai világunkban már hozzászokhattunk, hogy minden változik. Már meg sem lep bennünket, hogy az ÁFA törvény 2013-tól szintén módosul. Jó hír E-Business Suite 11i -t használó Ügyfeleink számára, hogy elkészült az adótörvények változásához kapcsolódóan (Art. 31/B §) az Oracle E-Business Suite 11i (11.5.10) verziójához az új lokalizációs ÁFA csomag, amely a 2013-tól az "Összesíto jelentés"-hez szükséges adatok eloállítását támogatja. Az új ÁFA csomag az alábbi három új kimutatás csoportot tartalmazza, amelyek a jelenlegi ÁFA megoldáshoz hasonlóan lehetové teszik a riport eredmények elozetes megtekintését, az eredmények véglegesítését, illetve szükség esetén másolati nyomtatás készítését: - "OHU: ÁFA analitika és összesíto jelentés 2013 (Elozetes)" - "OHU: ÁFA analitika és összesíto jelentés 2013 (Végleges)" - "OHU: ÁFA analitika és összesíto jelentés 2013 (Másolat)" A kimutatás csoportokban az alábbi programok lesznek elérhetok:  - OHU: ÁFA analitika kimutatás  - OHU: Belföldi összesíto jelentés partnerenként Az "OHU: ÁFA analitika kimutatás" funkcionális szempontból nem módosul, csak az ahhoz szükséges technikai módosítások kerülnek átvezetésre, hogy a kimutatás által összegyujtött adatok az "OHU: Belföldi összesíto jelentés partnerenként" kimutatás számára elérhetok legyenek. Az újonnan megjeleno "OHU: Belföldi összesíto jelentés partnerenként" kimutatás a NAV 1365A-01-05-ös összesíto és a 1365M lapok partnerenkénti kitöltéséhez szükséges adatokat listázza, a tervek szerint Excel formátumban, az adatokat a bevallás által kért eFt-ra kerekítve. (A riport adatok Excel formátumban történo megjelenítéséhez elofeltétel az Oracle BI Publisher termék telepítése). A lokalizációs csomagban korábban elérheto:  - "OHU: Levonható ÁFA megosztási kimutatás" és a kapcsolódó  - "OHU: ÁFA Fizeto pozíció bejegyzése" programok nem kerülnek aktualizálásra, mivel használatuk korábbi adó törvény változások miatt már nem szükséges. A 2013-ra vonatkozó ÁFA bevallások készítése során már az új "OHU: ÁFA analitika és összesíto jelentés 2013" kimutatáscsoportok futtatását javasoljuk, a korábbi ÁFA kimutatás csoportokat pedig használaton kívül kell helyezni. A 2013-tól használandó új ÁFA csomag az Oracle Support szolgáltatásán keresztül érheto el. Ügyfeleink a My Oracle Support-on 1713-as termékkódra (EMEA Add-on Localizations) megnyitott hibajegyen (SR) bejelentésével jelezhetik igényüket a fentebb részletezett lokalizációs csomagra.

  Hi to all, i need to run exchange cmdlets from a c# console application. i followed with success the guide from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb332449.aspx but only for the basic command and one parameter. the cmdlets i need to run is: Get-MailboxStatistics -server evs | Select servername, StorageGroupName,databasename,@{expression={$_.TotalItemSize.value.ToKB()}},ItemCount,mailboxguid In detail i cannot specify the field that i need after the select "command" and i don't know how can i pass to cmdlets, the expression "@{expression={$_.TotalItemSize.value.ToKB()}}". • Powershell call web service on new email event (Exchange 2010)

  I have Exchange 2010 and I need to run a process using web services against every new email to come in to a mailbox. The process will basically add the email to an internal task list. Can I use Powershell for this? Having never used Powershell before I don't really have a clue on it's capabilities. If not can anyone suggest another way of doing this other than monitoring the mailbox every X seconds. Really I'd like it event based so if no new mail then no processing. Cheers, Mike

Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

• What's the best / easiest way to combine two mailboxes on Exchange 2007?

  I've found this and this(2) (sorry, maximum hyperlink limit for new users is 1, apparently), but they both seem targeted toward much more complex cases than what I'm trying to do, and I just want to make sure I'm not missing some better approach. Here's the scenario: 'Alice' has retired. 'Bob' has taken over Alice's position. Bob was already with the organization in a different but related position, and so they already have their own Exchange account with mail, calendars, etc., that they need to keep. I need to get all of Alice's old mail, calendar entries, etc., merged into Bob's existing stuff. Ideally, I don't want to have all of Alice's stuff in a separate 'recovery' folder that Bob would have to switch back and forth between to look at older stuff; I want it all just merged into Bob's current Inbox / Calendar. I'm assuming (read: hoping) that there's a better way to do this than fiddling with permissions and exporting to and then importing from a .pst. Office version is 2007 for everybody that uses Exchange, if that helps. Exchange is version 8.1. What (preferably step-by-step - I'm new to Exchange) is the best way to do this? I can't imagine this is an uncommon scenario, but my google-fu has failed me; there seems to be nothing on this subject that isn't geared towards far more complex scenarios. • Mass-migrating from POP3 to Exchange 2010, how do I copy mailboxes?

  I'm in the process of planning our migration from an internal hosted POP3-server (dovecot) to Exchange 2010. We're using Outlook 2003 for the moment, but will soon upgrade to Outlook 2010. The big problem is that we have about 50 computers here in our HQ, plus ~30 clients in branch offices (wich will get their Exchange migration later sometime). I'm the only IT personel, and having to go around and manually set up Outlook and copy over their PST contents is not a option I'm looking for. Some users have set outlook to keep messages for X number of days on the POP3 server, others have not. Using a POP3 connector to transfer over the mails is not a viable option. Here is what I've done so far: Created a transform for the Office 2003 administrative installation point Created a .PRF file to modify any existing e-mail account to switch over to Exchange (including the RPC-encrypt hotfix described in MSKB 2006508) Tested both transform and PRF, both works Created a test-OU and GPO containing the Office 2003 installation with transform applied, also works My big question is: How can I force Outlook to import any existing .PST into the new Exchange mailbox when the user starts up Outlook for the first time after the MST/PRF have been applied? Is this possible?

• Upgrade to Azure 2.2 SDK is causing roles to fail

  I have 3 worker roles and a web role in my project and I upgraded it to the new 2.2 SDK (required in VS2013). Ever since the upgrade, all of the worker roles are failing and they instantly recycle as soon as they're started. When the roles start, I'm getting these messages: Microsoft.WindowsAzure.ServiceRuntime Information: 200 : Role entrypoint . COMPLETED Run() ==> ROLE RECYCLING INITIATED Microsoft.WindowsAzure.ServiceRuntime Information: 503 : Role instance recycling is starting The thread 0x2684 has exited with code 259 (0x103) Two things draw my attention: I've started to see a bunch of errors "Cannot find or open the PDB file." But I don't know that this is directly relevant. I'm using VS 2013 and while the project lists the SDK as 2.2, the references within the roles are the 2.1 versions. Do I need to upgrade the components? Why wouldn't the project upgrade these automatically when I pulled the project into VS as it only support 2.2? Any thoughts on how to attach this are appreciated.

• Exchange Web Service (EWS) call fails under ASP.NET but not a console application

  I'm getting an error when I attempt to connect to Exchange Web Services via ASP.NET. The following code works if I call it via a console application but the very same code fails when executed on a ASP.NET web forms page. Just as a side note, I am using my own credentials throughout this entire code sample. "When making a request as an account that does not have a mailbox, you must specify the mailbox primary SMTP address for any distinguished folder Ids." I thought I might be able to fix the issue by specifying an impersonated user. exchangeservice.ImpersonatedUserId = new ImpersonatedUserId(ConnectingIdType.SmtpAddress, "[email protected]"); But then I get a different error. "The account does not have permission to impersonate the requested user." The App Pool that the web application is running under is also my own account (same as the console application) so I have no idea what might be causing this issue. I am using .NET framework 3.5.   Hello Community, I successfully send Mails via SMTP using my Rails App and my Postfix Server. Now I need to move to an Exchange: Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 6.0.3790.3959 that has POP3 and SMTP support enabled. I use actionmailer 1.2.5 and am not able to successfully login to the server while trying to send a mail. In case I use Mail.app sending and recieving works fine as long as I change the authentication schema to "Password". So authentication method :login seems to be properly supported. Now when it comes to my configuration for actionmailer it looks like so: ActionMailer::Base.server_settings = { :address => "mail.my-mail-server-domain.com", :port => 25, :domain => "my-mail-server-domain.com", :authentication => :login, :user_name => "myusername", :password => "mypassword" } And I get authentication errors over and over. I also tried to change :user_name => "my-mail-server-domain.com\myusername" :user_name => "my-mail-server-domain.com\\myusername" :user_name => "myusername/my-mail-server-domain.com" :user_name => "[email protected]" but nothing works. • ASP.NET Emails blocked by Spam filter on Exchange

  I'm trying to send an email via some C# ASP.NET code. This is being sent to our internal mailrelay server, with our standard "from" address (e.g. [email protected]). In some instances, this is getting through OK, in others, it's getting blocked by the Spam Filter. An example of our Web.config <mailSettings> <smtp from="[email protected]"> <network host="mailrelay.domain.com" defaultCredentials="true" /> </smtp> </mailSettings> I've spoken with our Exchange Server team and they inform me that on occasions, our mail looks sufficiently like spam and is automatically blocked. The algorithm appears to be points based and blocks on a score of 45. 20 points are instantly added because our system is not sending the hostname with the domain name suffixed. e.g. the server is hoping for myServerName.domain.com, but despite being part of that domain, the server is sending from myServerName. I've been asked to look at altering the EHLO string that is sent and/or influencing the host so that it is its fully qualified name. However, this makes little sense to me, and although I understand the concept of what I need to change - I don't know where to begin looking for the fix.

  We are at the verge of a mail server decision. We do currently use 2 mail servers : MDaemon 10 and Exchange 2003. We are planning to use a company and customer wide one point solution. Our main candidates are MDaemon 11 and Exchange 2007 or 2010. We would like to learn other users experiences on those solutions. The server-side experiences, the user-side experiences, feature set, TCO, support options etc. And if there were other solutions (like MDaemon 11 + Exchange or anything else) what would you suggest ?

• Why won't Mail sync To Do/Tasks with Exchange?

  I'm using Apple Mail (Snow Leopard, everything is fully up-to-date), and am happily using an Exchange 2007 server for email needs, but I can't get it to synchronise the To Do notes from Mail with the Tasks from Exchange. I've tried creating a task in each and neither of them went to the other side. Bizarrely I have a single task from before I actually upgraded to Snow Leopard that did get into Mail from Exchange. Right-clicking on the Inbox and hitting 'Get Account Info' in Mail reports the correct number of entries in the 'To Do' folder for 'Messages on Server'.
