• Lazy Tables app from iphone

  I am new to iphone development. I have parsed a youtube file and displaying its contents with the image in the table view. But the scrolling has become slower because of displaying image.So i want to display the image as the lazy tables program from apple docs.Since they have used navigation based application , their rootviewcontroller loads first and then the delegate class call the parsing ,and when they reload the table view, the contents are displayed. The data array count shows 25. I am using a view controller to display the tables on the present modal view, more over when i run my application, first delegate methods call the parsing. So when i click the youtube icon in my landing page it navigates to table view. So by this time data array count shows 0. I have created table view in interface builder and set the outlets to the file owner properly. Please help me out. I want to increasing the scrolling performance. Thanks.

  When I need to load a view programatically I do the following: MyController* myController = [[MyController alloc] init]; [[NSBundle mainBundle] loadNibNamed:@"myNib" owner:myController options:nil]; // use my controller here, eg. push it in the nav controller This works fine, but my controller's viewDidLoad is never called. So I resorted to manually calling it after the loadNibNamed call, but it doesn't seem correct. I was expecting the framework to call the viewDidLoad on my behalf. Is this the right way or I'm missing something?

• WinForms: Why do I get InvalidCastException when showing folder browser dialog?

  I am randomly getting InvalidCastException when showing FolderBrowserDialog and also many clients have reported this. I have not been able to find anything relevant on the internet. Does anyone know what causes this/how to fix this?   I'm buying a Server from a person (that I don't know really well) and I want to make sure that the previous owner hasn't got any access anymore. It's an Ubuntu Virtual Server and I already received the admin access (via shell). How can I find out if there are still other accounts left, who are still able to access my server (e.g. with a still existing shell account, ftp or another type of user account)? • Installing Bugzilla on Ubuntu 9.04 and Plesk

  Hey guys. I'm trying to install the latest Bugzilla version on my ubuntu server. (Want to use a subdomain like bugs.domain.com) I already installed all necessary perl modules and check_modules.pl doesn't show any errors. But when I'm running the testserver.pl script I get the following: TEST-OK Webserver is running under group id in $webservergroup TEST-FAILED Fetch of images/padlock.png failed I'm also not able to visit ANY file within the bugzilla folder from the browser. I'm always getting a 404 error. The bugzilla folder and all containing files are set to apache as the owner. I tried to enter the apache configuration form the installation guide in the http.include file of the domain and in the vhosts.conf file of the subdomain as well. I don't know what to do... Playing with plesks' suexecgroup doesn't bring any solution... I hope you can help me! Thanks in advance!

  Hello there, I have an object in csharp from the class Account each account have a owner, reference, etc. One way I can access an accounts properties is through accessors like account.Reference; but I would like to be able to access it using dynamic string selectors like: account["PropertyName"]; just like in javascript. so I would have account["Reference"] which would return the value...but I also would like to be able to sign a new value after that like: account["Reference"] = "124ds4EE2s"; I've noticed I can use DataBinder.Eval(account,"Reference") to get a property based on a string, but using this I can't sign a value to the property. • iphone: custom UITableViewCell taller than the default cell view.

  Hello, I'm creating an application that consists of a ListView with 5 rows: - 1st one containing a graph - 2nd to 5th rows containing some data with the same formatting. I have created 2 classes: GraphCustomViewCell and DataCustomViewCell. Depending upon the position of the cell I load the correct CustomCell with: NSArray *topLevelObjects = [[NSBundle mainBundle] loadNibNamed:@"GraphCustomViewCell" owner:nil options:nil]; for(id currentObject in topLevelObjects) { if([currentObject isKindOfClass:[GraphCustomViewCell class]]) { cell = (GraphCustomViewCell *)currentObject; break; } } That works fine except that the first row, the one corresponding to the graph, is bigger (in height) that the 4 other rows, and as a results it hides the 3 first other rows. Is there any option in the table view that enables the custom cell to expand the default cells ? I'd like that the 5 rows (graph + 4 data rows) to fit the entire screen (480 - tabbar's height). • Need some serious help with self join issue.

  Well as you may know, you cannot index a view with a self join. Well actually even two joins of the same table, even if it's not technically a self join. A couple of guys from microsoft came up with a work around. But it's so complicated I don't understand it!!! • viewDidLoad never called in Sub-classed UIViewController

  I've run into some trouble with loading a sub-classed UIViewController from a nib. My viewDidLoad function is never called. The super-class has no nib, but the sub-classes each have their own. i.e. @interface SuperClass : UIViewController { } @end @interface SubClass : SuperClass{ } @end @implementation SubClass - (id)initWithNibName:(NSString *)nibNameOrNil bundle:(NSBundle *)nibBundleOrNil { self = [super initWithNibName:nibNameOrNil bundle:nibBundleOrNil]; if (self) { } return self; } - (void)viewDidLoad{ // Never called } The view is loaded from a nib as follows: SubClass *scvc = [[SubClass alloc] initWithNibName:@"SubClass" bundle:nil]; [self.navigationController pushViewController:scvc animated:YES]; [scvc release]; There is a nib file with this name and it has it's file owner's class set properly. viewDidLoad is not called in the child or super. Any ideas?

• Windows Sharepoint Service (WSS) 3.0 search Issue

  Based on this http://servergrrl.blogspot.com/2008/02/how-to-use-wss-30-to-search-more-than.html blog, I've created a domain account for testing and sets the permission at the side level as well as Document Library to allow specific user (DOMAIN/TestUser1) allow accessing this folder. Now, it's interesting that the user can see the document by drilling though BUT it won't be able to search and the document couldn't find it. But if I tested with the site owner (both primary and secondary), it works nicely. What did I do wrong then? It must be related on permission but I cound't work out what it is. BTW ... I am using WSS not MOSS 2007. Thanks

  JSR-275 has been rejected, the Units of Measurement API for Java project is a set of interfaces, but haven't found an open source implementation. On this post: Which jsr-275 units implementation should be used? the project owner mentions the implementation was going to be ready by the end of last year on JScience, but didn't find anything there to convert between weight or length units and when I looked for JScience on https://maven.java.net/, I found it, but the JAR wasn't even in the directory https://maven.java.net/content/repositories/snapshots/org/jscience/jscience/5.0-SNAPSHOT/, so I had to get it from somewhere else. Has this project been left behind? And is there currently an implementation for conversion of Units of measurement in Java and even perhaps a Maven repo?

Using Solaris RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), one can give a non-root user permissions to execute those commands, but the commands still fail internally. Is there a complete RBAC solution for Oracle RAC or does the executor need to be root? • Exporting query results to a file on the fly

  Hi all, I need to export the results of a query to a csv file in an FTP folder. Is it possible to achieve this within a stored procedure? If yes, comes yet another constraint: can I achieve this without sysadmin privileges, aka without using xp_cmdshell + BCP utility? If no to 2., does the caller have to have sysadmin privileges or would it suffice if the SP owner has sysadmin privileges? Here are some more details to the problem: The SP must export and transfer the file on the fly and raise error if something went wrong. The caller must get a response immediately, i.e. in case of no error, he can assume that the results are successfully transferred to the folder. Therefore, a DTS/SSIS job that runs every N minutes is not an option. I know the problem smells like I will have to do this at application level, but I would be more than happy if all those stuff could be done from T-SQL.

• Send Keyboard Events from one Form to another Form

  Hello, my question is quite simple: Our C# application has one MainForm with a menu and several keyboard shortcuts associated with the menu entries. Now we need to trigger the menu entries from some child forms too. But since the MainForm is inactive when one of the child forms is active, the shortcuts do not work. Is there a simple way to propagate all keyboard events from the child form to the 'Owner' form? Or just to another form in general? Ah, and we cannot use some low level windows stuff, because we need to run the application on Mono/Linux too.

  Hello Everybody, I have developed a website using PHP and MYSQL. The website has a commenting system through which registered users of the website can post comments on the feedback posted by different users. When a comment is posted for a feedback an email is sent to the user who posted that feedback notifying him of new comments on his feedback. Now what I want is that a feedback owner should be able to post a new comment in response to that comment by simply replying to the email that has been sent by the website.   I have been using UIViewControllers and initWithNibName with much success, basically using them as a convenient way to design the view with Interface Builder. Unfortunately I have built a hierarchy of views before noticing this line in the UIViewController documentation: Note: You should not use view controllers to manage views that fill only a part of their window My question is this: Having a very simple NIB that only has a UIView in addition to the default First Responder and Owning Object, what is the simplest way to load the UIView into my code? I have not been able to get loadNibNamed:owner:options: to work at this point, but suspect the answer will involve it somehow.

When i got that error i tried to include the word PACKAGE, like this: class PACKAGE TForm2 But, when i tried to compile the PACKAGE, the compiler stops with the unresolved external error: [ILINK32 Error] Error: Unresolved external '__fastcall Forms::TCustomForm::~TCustomForm()' referenced from c:\projects\UNIT2.OBJ How can i solve this problem?
