• Tomcat 4.1.31 - HTTPS not working intermittently | "Page Cannot be Displayed" problems

  We are facing this error intermittently. If we restart the server it works for some time and again the problem start. We also have another load balanced server with similar configuration and that is working fine. The server is running on Linux box. If we do the "ps -ef" its listing the TOMCAT process. URL : https://xyz.abc.com:9234/axis/servlet/AxisServlet Following the configuration in server.xml file. <Connector className="org.apache.coyote.tomcat4.CoyoteConnector" port="9234" minProcessors="5" maxProcessors="75" enableLookups="true" acceptCount="100" debug="0" scheme="https" secure="true" useURIValidationHack="false" disableUploadTimeout="true"> <Factory className="org.apache.coyote.tomcat4.CoyoteServerSocketFactory" clientAuth="false" protocol="TLS" /> </Connector> Is it the problem with our load balancer which is forwarding most requests to this server? Is it any way related to the "maxProcessors" or "acceptCount" attributes defined in the above configuration? Is it the problem with the port number?? Does it have to do any thing with the certificate. The certificate is generated using Java Keytool. ( However, the other load balanced server is also using the same certificate and working fine) Please suggest in resolving this issue. thanks

• Combo box in a scrollable panel causing problems

  I have a panel with AutoScroll set to true. In it, I am programmatically adding ComboBox controls. If I add enough controls to exceed the viewable size of the panel a scroll bar appears (so far so good). However, if I open one of the combo boxes near the bottom of the viewable area the combo list isn't properly displayed and the scrollable area seems to be expanded. This results in all of the controls being "pulled" to the new bottom of the panel with some new blank space at the top. If I continue to tap on the drop down at the bottom of the panel the scrollable area will continue to expand indefinitely. I'm anchoring the controls to the left, right and top so I don't think anchoring is involved. Is there something obvious that could be causing this? Update: It looks like the problem lies with anchoring the controls to the right. If I don't anchor to the right then I don't get the strange behavior. However, without right anchoring the control gets cut off by the scroll bar.   I'm using phpThumb - the PHP thumbnail generator. 'phpThumb.config.php': $PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['cache_maxage'] = 10; $PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['cache_maxsize'] = 1000; $PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['cache_maxfiles'] = 10; but it does nothing... I've got 108 MB in 922 files... and it keeps growing. Thanks for any suggestions.

  I made a following test: # main.py import imported print imported.f.__module__ # imported.py def f(): pass # test_imported.py (py.test test case) import imported def test_imported(): result = imported.f.__module__ assert result == 'imported' Running python main.py, gives me imported, but running py.test gives me error and result value is moduletest.imported (moduletest is the name of the directory I keep the test in. It doesn't contain __init__.py, moduletest is the only directory containing *.py files in ~/tmp). How can I fix result value? The long story: I'm getting strange errors, while testing Django application. A call to reverse() from (django.urlresolvers). with function object foo as argument in tests crashes with NoReverseMatch: Reverse for 'site.app.views.foo'. The same call inside application works. I checked and it is converted to 'app.views.foo' (without site prefix). I first suspected my customised test setup for Django, but then I made above test.

• Problems with testing in app purchases

  I am trying to test my application with in app purchases. I created features, test user, logged out from iTunes on the iPhone and used developer certificate. Load app from XCode in debug mode. When I click "Buy" button I pass all checks for internet availability, canMakePayments and call SKPayment *payment = [SKPayment paymentWithProductIdentifier:featureId]; [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] addPayment:payment]; But all what I see is a pending view and after some minutes it failed in - (void) failedTransaction: (SKPaymentTransaction *)transaction { if (transaction.error.code != SKErrorPaymentCancelled) { NSLog(@"failedTransaction"); } [[MKStoreManager sharedManager] paymentCanceled]; [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] finishTransaction: transaction]; } Please advice in what direction I should go to figure out the problem and what else I should check. • Problems with Ajax Chat version .8.3

  I am not sure why, but my Ajax Chatroom ever once in awhile (once time ever other day on average I'd say), displays an connection error 503. Now doing some digging apparently 503 is an error for exceeding max connections, and the typical fix is increasing your limit to something like 400 but my max connections is already set to 1500. That being said I would love some help on the issue as I cannot find any further info on it.

• problems importing ttk from tkinter in python 2.7

  I'm working with an example file in a tutorial that asks me to first do two imports: from tkinter import * from tkinter import ttk I get an error. I researched a bit and found that in python 2.7.x I need to capitalize the 't'in tkinter, so I change to: from Tkinter import * from Tkinter import ttk. the first line no longer gives and error, but I still get error: ImportError: cannot import name ttk. I have researched this issue on this site and other places, and cannot seem to understand what this ttk is. I'm further confused by the fact that, when I go to the python interpreter, and I type "help()", then "modules", and then "ttk" it seems to know what it is, and gives me a lot of description, for example: "DESCRIPTION This module provides classes to allow using Tk themed widget set." -however, python won't let me import it.

  hi there i am doing a query thus: int numberInInterval = (from dsStatistics.J2RespondentRow item in jStats.J2Respondent where item.EndTime > dtIntervalLower && item.EndTime <= dtIntervalUpper select item).count(); there appear to be some dbnulls in the endtime column.. any way i can avoid these? tried adding && where item.endtime != null.. and even != dbnull.value do i have to do a second (first) query to grab all that arent null then run the above one? im sure its super simple fix, but im still missing it.. as per thanks nat

• jquery slideUp() and slideDown() problems

  Hello, I am very crap at jquery, and im having some trouble with the slideUp() and slideDown() animations. I have been working on a vCard design similar to tim van damme's site. here is a the link to the design: link. When you click on the portfolio or work button, the text or image appears first before the div finishes sliding down. I would like the div to slide down first and then show the text... This currently works when you click on the contact button or the home button on the top navigation bar, but does not work for the portfolio button and the work button. I have a hunch that this may not even be a jquery problem, and that its just my bad css code, but I have skimmed through the css code, and changed things like z-index, but that hasnt worked.

  I am trying to find all of the types in the Models namespace within an ASP.NET MVC assembly from within a testing assembly. I was trying to use LINQ to find the relevant set for me but it is returning an empty set on me.   Hi there, I have an emote selector that opens up when a user clicks an entry in a diary. The way I've worked it is that the emote selector panel lives hidden at the top of the page. When a user clicks on the 'emote control' associated with an entry, I use JavaScript to grab the HTML of the emote selector panel from the top of the page and insert it next to the entry. Using Firebug, here's what the finished product would look like in the page (snippet from element inspect).   I'm using almost same POM for both my projects, they are on the same workspace but they are not related at all, they are related however because in both I use spring and jboss.   Hi there, I want to do a model class which associates to itself on Rails. Basically, a user has friends, which are also users. I typed the following inside a User model class: has_many :friends, :class_name => "User", :foreign_key => :user_id, :finder_sql => %{SELECT users.* FROM users INNER JOIN friends ON (users.id = friends.user_id OR users.id = friends.friend_id) WHERE users.id <> #{id}} But the funny fact is that it seems that this finder_sql is called twice whenever I type User.first.friends on irb. Why?

• Problems with "global" exception handlers for unhandled exceptions in multithreaded WPF

  I have a program that, among other things, needs to be able to refresh the contents of a directory when the user tells it to. The actual task doesn't really matter, but this is the simplest way of causing this problem to occur that I know of. If I tell it to open a directory that doesn't exist, I get the "unhandled exception" dialog in VS with a stack trace of, from outer to inner: [External code] Textbox PreviewKeyUp event [External code] ClassA's path property being set ClassA's internal path update function being called A call to the INotifyPropertyChanged event [External code] A call to the getter for ClassB's list of children A call to ClassB's internal directory list function And then it fails inside this internal function. I have the following in my App.xaml.cs: private void Application_Startup(object sender, StartupEventArgs e) { AppDomain.CurrentDomain.UnhandledException += new UnhandledExceptionEventHandler(CurrentDomain_UnhandledException); Application.Current.Dispatcher.UnhandledException += new System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherUnhandledExceptionEventHandler(Dispatcher_UnhandledException); } But neither of their exception handlers are being called. If I run this program from outside VS, I don't get notified of an exception at all, it just breaks because of the invalid input. And yes, the Application_Startup event is being called. How can I properly "trap" this exception so I can provide a friendly error message and kill the program?

However, the results are awayls duplicate for each file starting with "ABC". Did I do something wrong? Thanks

• Problems with JQuery's Droppable Tolerance 'fit' feature when using the same size divs

  Hi I'm just wondering if anybody else can manage to get the tolerance:'fit' option to work when using the 'droppable' feature in jQuery's UI? I want to call a function only when the draggable div is dropped perfectly onto a droppable div. Both divs are the same size and I'm using snapMode:outer to help the end user. I simply cannot get it to work with 'fit'. Works perfectly with 'intersect'. Would really appreciate some help. Thanks Chris

• C++ std::vector problems

  For 2 days i tried to explain myself some of the things that are happening in my c++ code,and i can't get a good explanation.I must say that i'm more a java programmer.Long time i used quite a bit the C language but i guess Java erased those skills and now i'm hitting a wall trying to port a few classes from java to c++. Now i can't explain why this is happening.I must say that all the objects that should be in vector they also live inside the network and they are not NULL; This happens everywhere after i done with addLayer() so not just in the getLayers(). I cant get a good grasp to this problem.I thought first that i might modify my vector.But i can't find such thing. Also why if the reference from vector is NULL ,the reference that lives inside ForwardNetwork as a linked list (inputLayer and outputLayer) is not NULL? I must ask for your help.Please ,if you have some advices don't hesitate! PS: as compiler i use g++ part of gcc 4.6.1 under ubuntu 11.10
