    In this video, it mentioned not to embed the Facebook secret key inside the application, http://www.adobe.com/devnet/facebook/articles/video_facebook_quick_start.html, so I passed null to this function facebookSession = new FacebookSessionUtil(MYAPI, null, stage.loaderInfo); but it didn't work. How can I hide my secret key? In the doc it mentioned: http://facebook-actionscript-api.googlecode.com/svn/release/current/docs/com/facebook/utils/FacebookSessionUtil.html secret:String — Your application's secret key. If this parameter is passed a value of null, the constructor looks for a special session secret stored in the fb_sig_ss property of the loaderInfo object. For web sessions, even if you pass a non-null value for this parameter, the constructor will always look for a session secret and use that instead of the value that you pass for this parameter.

  • VS2010, MSDeploy and declaration of parameters

    Hi I'm trying to deploy an ASP.NET MVC 2 app using MSDeploy. I use VS2010 to generate the package as a ZIP. Inside that ZIP is a parameters.xml file that declares the parameters that I can set. I want to be able to set more parameters, using the auto-generated deploy.cmd file like this: MySite.deploy.cmd "-setParam:name='IIS Web Application Name',value=MySite" "-setParam:name=IisVirtualDirectoryPhysicalPath,value=C:\inetpub\MySite" "-setParam:name=httpBinding,value=*:80:www.mysite.dk" That works fine, except for the httpBinding param. That is because that parameter is not declared inside the parameters.xml file that is added to the ZIP container. I could go and add that parameter declaration manually, but isn't there a way to do it from the command line and have it declare parameters I have in another XML file?

    My website is running on Asp.net v4 , IIS 7 , Windows server 2008. My cpu is running on 20-30% and the site is responding quickly. Every 2-5 mins i'm receiving the following error: Event code: 3001 Event message: The request has been aborted. Exception type: HttpException Exception message: Request timed out. , Request information: Request URL: http://www.xxxx.com/Services/AxRefresh.asmx/AxUpdate Request path: /Services/AxRefresh.asmx/AxUpdate User host address: 84.110.251.198 User: Is authenticated: False Authentication Type: Thread account name: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE i read that the error is related to the maximum concurrent requests limit http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821268 but then i found out that on IIS 7 this limitation is changed and not relevant. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd560842(VS.100).aspx Any other ideas what can be the problem or where to start looking ?     Hello, I need one of my .exe to always run as administrator without UAC prompt. My program will be installed with setup, which will have for one time admin rights, and I need to perform such step in this setup that my exe will be always executed as admin without UAC prompt. I've found 2 solutions so far: 1) Use custom service, which will elevate the program for me. 2) Use tash scheduler: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/create-administrator-mode-shortcuts-without-uac-prompts-in-windows-vista/ Is there any other solution? Some manifest probably? Thanks.

  • Why didn't 12.04 install?

    Ok, so I've installed Ubuntu many times on my computer.. Normally on the same partition, and WIndows would always delete Ubuntu(I don't know how.. it just happens) if i go away from keyboard during boot and it chooses Windows automatically because I took to long. So i tried to reinstall again, but after the fifth time it wouldn't let me, and told me to check "wubi-12.04-rev266.log". It took a while to find, but when i found it, I had no idea what any of it meant, as I'm no programmer.I first tried this the day Precise Pangolin came out. SO skip ahead 2.5 months, when I finally found this file, and i then got the idea of making a new partition to install Ubuntu on, but I used wubi, like I always did. It didn't look like it would f anything up, so I did it. it went through all the downloads, extracting, etc. Which took about 40 minutes total, then ended with an error message saying to check "wubi-12.04-rev266.log". i did.     What publishing frameworks (publishing only, NOT full-blown CMS) based on XML, XSLT sitemaps and pipelines exist, are stable, active, and simpler / lighter than Cocoon? I have glanced at: mod_xslt (http://www.mod-xslt2.com/) which seemed to be exactly that, but looks all but dead, and required a complex setup, and apparently supported only libxslt as an XSLT processor (I'd like to be able to use Saxon and XSLT 2.0 of course). Apache Forrest (http://forrest.apache.org/), but I don't understand if it is really simpler than Cocoon or is rather an additionnal thing on top of Cocoon? What I'm looking for is something that does just this: recieves an HTTP GET "runs it" through a sitemap finds a pipeline: source.xml - xslt1.xsl - xslt2.xsl - xsltn.xsl - serialize runs the pipeline serves the serialized result to the client and: uses Saxon (or is "processor independant") can be installed "lightly", that is: should not require much more configuration than the sitemap Maybe I'm describing an early version of Cocoon, or a future version of an XProc implementation... Anyway, does such a tool exist?

For example from this page http://www.foxtons.co.uk/search?location_ids=1001-29&property_id=712128&search_form=map&search_type=LL&submit_type=search I want to extract the title which is "4 bed house to rent, Caroline Place, Bayswater, W2", the price which is "2,300" and the description which starts at "This fantastic..." and ends at "(Circle and District Lines). " I tried to use php cURL + dom but I'm getting a lot of errors like this "htmlParseEntityRef: expecting ';' in Entity, line: 243" and no result displayed Also I tried to use preg_match or preg_match_all but doesn't work either .     I am trying to decode a base64 encoded EMF image from an XML document in my application and render it on screen, however, it never seems to appear. If I copy/paste the data from the XML document into Notepad++ and use the Base64 Decode option and save the file as a .emf it opens fine in mspaint. So I think the issue is how I am decoding it. I have tried the following decode methods described in these articles: How to encode / decode Base 64 string http://www.swissdelphicenter.ch/torry/showcode.php?id=1223 I have also tried the TIdDecoderMIME class to no avail. Does anyone know the most reliable way of decoding a base64 encoded string from XML?

    I am building a MVVM application. The model / entity (I am using NHibernate) is already done, and I am thinking of using AutoMapper to map between the ViewModel and Model. However this clause scares the jebus out of me: (from http://www.lostechies.com/blogs/jimmy_bogard/archive/2009/01/22/automapper-the-object-object-mapper.aspx) Blockquote AutoMapper enforces that for each type map (source/destination pair), all of the properties on the destination type are matched up with something on the source type To me, the logical choice is to map from model to viewmodel, (and I'll let viewmodel manually assign to model), but the quote basically kills the idea since the viewmodel will definitely have properties that don't exist on the model. How have you been using Automapper in a MVVM app? Please help!

I have read some in the WWW on this topic and I didn't really find a 'definitive demotivator'. It's not much about my personal attitude to the OOP, but I really would like to have something constructive, rigorous foundation for any kind of discussion and just abstract thinking.   • Jquery JQGrid breaks when contentType=application/json?

    I've had to use $.ajaxSetup() to globally change the contentType to application/json $.ajaxSetup({ contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8" }); (See this question for why I had to use application/json http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2792603/aspnet-mvc-why-is-modelstate-isvalid-false-the-x-field-is-required-when-that) But this breaks the jquery jqrid with this error: Invalid JSON primitive: _search The POST data it is trying to send is: _search=false&nd=1274042681880&rows=20&page=1&sidx=&sord=asc Which of is not in json format, so of course it fails. Is there anyway to tell jqrid what contenttype to use? As I understand it that's how it's supposed to work.     I can't get NVelocity to initialize. I'm not trying to do anything complicated, so it's just fine if it initializes at the defaults, but it won't even do that. This: VelocityEngine velocity = new VelocityEngine(); ExtendedProperties props = new ExtendedProperties(); velocity.Init(props); Results in: "It appears that no class was specified as the ResourceManager..." So does this: VelocityEngine velocity = new VelocityEngine(); velocity.Init(); I can find precious little documentation on what the properties should be, nor how to get it to initialize with the simple defaults. Can anyone point to a resource? A lot of pages point back to this page: http://www.castleproject.org/others/nvelocity/usingit.html But this page skips over the (seemingly) most important point -- how to set the properties and what to set them to. I just want to load a simple template from a file.

    Using the API, trying to get items in a specific feed returns this: {“direction”:”ltr”,”id”:”feed/http://arstechnica.com/index.rssx”,”title”:”Ars Technica”,”description”:”The Art of Technology”,”self”:[{"href":"http://www.google.com/reader/api/0/stream/contents/feed/http://arstechnica.com/index.rssx?ot\u003d1273193172856169\u0026r\u003dn\u0026xt\u003duser/-/state/com.google/read\u0026n\u003d4\u0026ck\u003d1273193873\u0026client\u003diPadReader"}],”alternate”:[{"href":"http://arstechnica.com/index.php","type":"text/html"}],”updated”:1273193873,”items”:[]} They look like key/value pairs but it’s plain text with UTF8 String encoding and won’t encode into a dictionary. I’m using Objective-C and I’m not sure where to go from here. So far I’ve been able to parse the XML response for unread items, but parsing the plain-text doesn’t look feasible. What is your practice?

I don't want to download this dll from anywhere as I'm not sure if I can trust it. However it also says: "After research on the web I found that I have to create new AxMSTSCLib and MSTSCLib DLLs. So I did" How do I "create" this new AxMSTSCLib ? Other link, doesn't use this dll but run an script instead. _http://bytes.com/topic/c-sharp/answers/517024-remote-desktop-connection-c but that code throws Security Exception. So I cannot use it.     I was tring to deploy an ASP.NET Web Application to a Windows Azure Web Site by following the tutorial through this link: https://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/develop/net/tutorials/get-started/ After download the public profile, which is a ".PublishSettings" file, I go back to Visual Studio and right-click the project in Solution Explorer and select Publish from the context menu as the tutorial said. However, a warning box jumped up and it showed me that "The Web Publishing extension is not installed which is required to publish. You can install it from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=208120." I already installed "Windows Azure SDK for .NET (VS 2012)" and I also tried to uninstall this and install again, but the same problem is still there. Anyone knows how to solve this? I am really appreciated.

    you have been a great help last time, i hope you can give me some advise this time, too. I read a binary file into matlab with bit16 (format = bitn) and i get a string of ones and zeros. bin = '1 00011 1111111111' (16 bits: 1. sign, 2-6. exponent, 7-16. mantissa) According to ftp://www.fox-toolkit.org/pub/fasthalffloatconversion.pdf it can be 'converted' like out = (-1)^bin(1) * 2^(bin(2:6)-15) * 1.bin(7:16) [are exponent and mantissa still binary?] Can someone help me out and tell me how to deal with the 'eeeee' and '1.mmmmmmmmmm' as mentioned in the pdf, please.
